There is an old saying that the enemy you know is better than the unknown enemy. According to DAYSCAFE the writers are from Passions and plan on modernizing the show. Not sure what that means, but I am not sure it is what most people want. Everyone is loving the storylines right now and they are still Dena’s. Hope it works out.
I look at this story much differently than you do, Patti.. I love anything that makes EJ miserable, cause if anyone deserves it he does. He had had the upper hand for too long and it is his time to face the only consequences he can. I always felt that Nicole wanted Sydney because she wanted EJ to raise his child and that wouldn’t happen if she was with Sami. I don’t agree with what she did, but it was done for EJ’s benefit. When EJ thought that Sydney wasn’t his child, even though he had raised her from birth, he threw her away. So I have no concern for EJ.
I agree with Jesigirl22 that Nicole is the wronged person. Yes she accepted the business arrangement, however EJ lead her to believe that it was more and that she had a chance for a real marriage (mainly to spite Sami). Everyone feels so bad for Poor Taylor– she is the one carrying on with a legally married person.
I applaude Nicole for sticking it to both of them.
rse, it will be to have a trangle. Jen and Dan are involved and poof—Jack shows up. Now Jen is conflicted– her new flame or her husband. Add to the mix Abby–her Dad is back, she can be the new Sami wanting her parents together. This will also free upDaniel for a return to Carly thus making mel so happy.
So who would be the 10 people? Bo and Hope, Sami and Rafe, Stefano and Kate, Victor and Maggie, Jen, Daniel, mel, Chloe. What about Abe, Lexie, Caroline, Roman, NIcole and EJ? No room for any of the kids, no teens, or recurring. It would make for a very small town.
I think that you would still need extras just to keep it realistic. The DiMeras and Kiriakas would still need household staff. The other sets would still need workers and customers. I also think that viewers would get tired of seeing the same people every day.
Since the show is on 5 days a week, the stories would fly. Now most stars are on 2-3 days a week and the show has many story lines going on at the same time. This is good cause everyone doesn’t like every story so there is something for everyone.
Most prime time show have a large cast like Greys or Desperate Housewives. Even those have members coming and going as storyline dictates or as cast decide to leave or are let go.
Maybe Billy is a little annoyed cause he was let go so his words should be taken with a grain of salt.
Actually it really didn’t bother me. Jen pulled it off like she was giving her daughter good advice. it sorked mcuh better than the one Sami did for Chinese food–in her grandmothers pub!!!
Daniel and Carly were not friends that had a fling. they had a one nighter during a medical convention that both attended. but then that’s par for dear doctor Dan. Love em and leave em and on to the next. Sorry but Jen is not the girl for him.
I would have liked it better if Chloe had passed out and nothing happened. That he ended up taking care of her instead of having a one nighter. It might help redeem Chloe in my eyes.
I guess that I am missing something because I do not see a vast improvement of acting in the Nu-Taylor. I never bought into love at first sight with EJ so Taylor1 did not impress me. However, her breathless way of speaking did not bother me like so many others. That said, Taylor1 first started out as a schemer coming to Nicole for a hand out. Then she became sweet, innocent sister wanting a friendship with her sister. Next she was a reluctant lover. I really cannot keep track of the constant changes to plot and personality. As for NL being able to pull of the latest version—we will never know cause she wasn’t given the chance.
I think that it takes a while for a new character to feel comfortable in the role and to get a following. NL never had a chance cause it was announced that she was replaced right after she started on screen. Other sites have viewers who arescreaming for NL to come back so it is all about individual choice. I have nothing against TB, just don’t see that the acting is so much better.
But I didn’t like switching Ari or Gabby and didn’t think they were improvements either. As for Dario, he’s ok for me-I still can’t see the eye thing that others have pointed out. My only problem is it is sometimes hard to understand him, he kind of mumbles sometimes. I am reserving any opinion of Quinn till I see more of him.

I think that Abby doesn’t want Jenn involved with Dan. After all he has a track record with former patinets—-Kate, Chelsea, Chloe and now Jenn.
I think that the poster was referring to her make-up more than her attractiveness. Most nuns don’t use excessive make upor sculpted eyebrows.Theirs is a natural beauty.
I think in part she is doing this to keep EJ and Taylor apart without letting on she knows about them. This ould be the best way to control EJ–denying him what he wants most–Taylor. Making him appear to be happy with Nicole is also a crushing blow to Taylor cause she doesn’t know why he would do this and he can’t tell her. Kind of like what he did to Nicole and Brady. karma is a b*tch!!!
I don’t see her as a better actress. To me the lines are still be written for Taylor1. ( it sounds like what she would say.) Also it is hard for me to see she and EJ as a couple especially since she is 7 years older than EJ and really looks it. Not too interested in thi SL and see no chemistry tween these two.
It is a 360 in Ej –he could care less about his kids. They haven’t even seen him since they have bben back. Not evenan off screne mention. Sami talked on the phone with them at Great Grandma’s. You would thinkthat Ej and family would want to see them. This is so against his original mission.
I still do not see a dramatic improvement in acting and no chemestry between her and EJ. Actually IMO Nicole is much prettier than Tamara. Also it is not belivable that she is younger than Nicole.
I guess that I am missing something, cause I did not see this huge difference in the acting level of Nu-Taylor. I am willing to wait until giving a final decision, but so far the acting seems ordinary. I really don’t care about any chemistry betwee she and EJ cause I have no use for EJ. He is consumed with having what he wants. He was so concerned aobut his children having a good mother in Nicole and now he couldn’t care less. To me he is the worst.
