Melanie is still very angry with Chloe for hurting her precious father and sleeping with Phil. I believe that is her first motive. She has not spent that much time with Parker to love him so. Has she ever offered to stay with him so Chloe can have some free time? Sh has never even bee with him. It is all about revenge.
Well, someone had to gobecuase of the uproar . By firing the co writer, the head writer’s job is safe—for now.
My point is that shewas a therapist when she left. An MBA is an entirely different career. It seemed like she had a good connection to Theo–a therapist would seem a better fit.

Don’t remember how much older Nicole is be, but thought it was more than 2years as Brandon was younger than Nicole and older than Taylor.
I don’t see how Tamara is going to work either as she is 3 years older than Arianne.
It also bugs me that Taylor was a therapist taking care of Lucas and now has an MBA!!!
With it being Valentine’s day I would think that Sami would have wanted to spend some time with Johnny especially with his surgery being the next day.
He could leave tomorrow and it wouldn’t phase me. I really don’t like EJ and after reading some of his interviews, I am not real fond of James either. He might be the sexiest soap man of 2011 but there is always someone new waiting in the wings. After all, where is Brandon Beemer these days?
She was already in a marriage that had secrets. No way Philip knew she had sent Nathan a come get me note on the day of her wedding. Philip was ALWAYS her second choice. Her heart belonged to Nathan, so she is quilty of the first betrayal. Sha has no right to be so self rightous.
I thought that Chloe did a great job of telling Melanie off and pointing out that Melanie is not totally innocent in all this. She said everything that I thought and did it well.
I really thought that Mel told Philip about Nathan to rub it in to Phil that she has someone. Mel is not innocent in this by any means, she wrote the letter to Nathan on her wedding day. She married Philip cause nathan didn’t come for her. She kissed Nathan at Maggie’s and again when they were in isolation. She also admitted she had feelings for nathan, so she has no right to act like the innocent victim.

Many working peoples come home from work and have a cocktail or two before dinner. Just watched Royal Pains and the doctor on the show just did exactly the same thing. I don’t think that it makes them alcoholics, just thirsty.
As for the party Sydney is 2 so she has limited friends. Since johnny and Rafe just got home from the hospital, I think they wouldn’t want lots of people around, so family party makes sense. don’t nthink that it was out of line to have some beer.

Yes Congress allowed this credit to expire, but kept the Bush tax credits for all the wealthy folks who can afford to redecorate every month!!! That makes lots of sense— the middle people get a tax increase and the wealthy continue to get the break.
Do you remember when Dr. Dan first came to the show? It was to save Bo from whatever was wrong with him. Then he helped Kate with her lung cancer. Next it was Chloe’s cancer. From there it seemed that he became a general doctor. Then he was an eye surgeon for Johnny and took care of Caroline after her stroke. Wow he certainly has a lot of specialties.
Again, all of you love your independence so it is hard for you to relate. however, I feel that there are many women more like Chloe, Sami, Stephanie, and even Melanie who like having someone to lean on. Maggie is one who stands out as that independent woman. Caroline has also learned to be on her own. There have been times in Kate’s life when she has been on her own. Now Jennifer is doing her own thing. So there are examples of independence but Soaps are all about relationships and interaction between men and women so they tend to make the man the hero—Rafe, Nathan, and of course Bo.

While it is true that many women make on their own, there are plenty that fall apart just like Chloe. Many also go from man to man like Sami and Nicole. Just ask all the grandparents who are raising their grandchildren while their kids "find themselves". Also ask the kids who are given up cause they don’t get along with mommy’s new "friend" Believe me it goes on every day and some far worse than what is portrayed here. Besides, soaps don’t believe in happily ever after, I think that Alice and Tom were the only couple who never fooled around on DOOL!!!
