So true— NO ONE is without blame in this story.Even though I am no Steph fan, I thought she did a great job today. And she was right on the money about Nathan and his feelings for Melanie. Why should it matter to Nathan who Chloe slept with? He knew about it first and decided to keep quiet. Same goes for Daniel and Mel keeping secrets from one another. As much as Nathan attacked Steph and demanded the TRUTH, he couldn’t admit the truth about his feelings for Mel when Steph pointed them out.
There is enough blame to go around. All because people can’t mind their own business.

Soaps are expensive to make.Not just then actors,put all the support crew. It is very difficult work, much harder than nighttime or movies. It is much cheaper to put on a talk show or game show. Wen are lucky to still have DOOL on the air.
Well does this set up a Melanie and Philip reunion? Cause they would never have Mel without a man. Also what happens to Steph?
Actually, I think that Peggy is doing an excellent job as a stroke victim. The difficulty of forming words and grimaces looks very realistic. I feel she is doing a fantastic job.
As for motives, I feel that older people sometimes regret their past actions and often try to rectify their past mistakes. She has always regret her betrayal of Shawn and felt it was wrong for Bo to find out he was Victor’s son. I think she believes if she could do it again, she would never tell Bo. Her actions were her way to prevent what happened with Bo. She has a lot of anger towards Victor and his family.
I think it is more about hurting Chloe and Phil– revenge for their deed and possessing her "brother",

Yes there is plenty of blame to go around, but I cannot stand Mel’s attitude. Talk about deception—she wrote a note to Nathan on her wedding day and only married Philip when Nathan didn’t answer. She kissed Nathan longer than a goodbye kiss.She continued to flirt with Nathan and butt in with his relationship with Steph. She also proclaimed her love for Nathan during the fever thing all while married to Philip. She is far from innocent. She had been keeping plenty of secrets. I am also real tired of Kayla after all she has the nerve to blame Carley!!

Maybe a better story would be that Mel and Nathan get together but then Mel discovers that she is pregnant and knows th at it is Philip’s. Then she must decide if she stays with Nathan or go back to Philip because of the child. If she keeps quiet then Nathan will be duped. He has strong opinions about who makes a good mother (comments about Chloe) as does Melanie. This way she now has to make the very decisions that she detested.
Does Daniel know that Mel knew all about the truth? Much the same, Daniel kept the truth from Mel. So they shouldn’t judge.
