I do like Chase and think he is a good addition to the young scene. I also hope Chase is no Theo’s tormenter

The last few months have killed off more people than all 50 years. Each death diminishes the last one. Don’t they have any other way for characters to exit without death. In this day and age, people move all the time.

Daniel could get a fantastic offer to do cutting edge reseach at a far away hospital

Eric could decide that his calling has returned and he re enters the priesthood.

Will could have left to go to France to be with Sonny.

Paige could have gone to Stanford.

These writers have gone from spectactular to wash, rinse and repeat!!

I so agree, of all the stories, this shows the most promise!

Ava doesn’ interest me, nor does Hope.

I really don’t like thata they are setting up Chase to be the bad guy with Theo. First they thrwo AIden under the bus, now Chase!! I don’t get it, I know he like Ciera but Theo is not his rival cause she likes him like a brother too!! If this is where they are going, they should have just let Chase go to his aunts!

If you ever saw the film, Clockwork Orange" it is an association technique, all things bad =Abigail, all things good=Belle. You begin to associated the person with the good or the bad and act accordingly.

still don’t get how Sami could touch all that money. Why souldn’t Stefano have it hidden better!!

Wow, I love the title, Jump the shark, cause that is exactly what I thought about the show lately.

Not only is Thaao saying this stuff was good, many others were too. However, I feel this whole big Bicentential storyline was disappointing and definitely overhyped. All that buildup for one short episode.

At since then, it has been ONE DAY!! I think these writers are in over their heads and they are returning to thesame ole storylines.

The problem with his return is most people liked him as Tony. Tony was a likable villian who had a heart of gold. Andre is (to quote Susan) mean, mean, mean!! That doesn’t work here. A villian has to have some soft spots, something that might makae him redeemable!! Even Stefano had a line in the past he would not cross.

This hard line of nasty Andre isn’t doing it for me! I just don’t care/

I really don’t like the way they are writing Hope. It goes against every instinct of a mother to abandon her children and ruen off to avenge Bo. Does she even know that Shawn and Belle are splitting up? Of course Ciara is devestated about her dad, but I’m sure Shawn is too. This also impacts Claire, she lost her grandfather and her father left. Belle is doing her own thing(rekindling with Philip). Talk about a disfunctional family!!

So in all this, Hope is pulling a BO— avenge the death and be the hero! Bo died of a brain tumor, which could have nothing to do with his torture and captivity. For her to go off on the revenge journey is illogical.  However, this is really the same SL the writers used for Sami. She is in Salem, lost in grief for her first born son and poof, she is off on an adventure! I just cannot believe that thisis the way a grieving wife(Hope) and mother (Sami) would do.

I also don’t get why Jen is MIA, she is usually yhe helicopter mom who knows everything. I can’t believe she would accept Abby going off with Ben and not investigate or follow up!!

In my opinion, they are incredibly selfish in their reaction. All of a sudden, they are super sleuths despite what it might so to their families!

For the first time I find myself FF through many of the SL, including "love"scens between Brady and Theresa, what happended to all the promised romance? Chad and Abby, she had a baby like a minte and a half ago! Kayla and Patch, no offense but they are too old for prolonged love scenes!

Sure wish these SLs would goi quickly.

She never intended to stay long term. Only came for the "50th" anniversary which IMO was a real snooze fest. There was more buildup with the flyers in every scene than the actual celebration. It seemed like the had a great idea and then decided to wrap up stories instead by killing off characters and then jumping into new stories.

I too have lost interest in this SL. Actually, I never had an iterest in it. I just remember how angry Hope got at Bo for putting little Ciara in danger when she got kidnapped because of his work. She actually made him leave the house! Now here she is, doing the same thing. Worse, Ciara just lost her dad, not only is Hope putting Ciara in danger, she is putting herself indanger which would leave Ciara with no parent at all!!

Next, I have NO interest in Kayla and Patch, I simply FF through these scenes. I also don’t care about Ava!!

I must say for all the hype about new writers and bicentennial and return of characters, I feel that it is falling very flat. The Bicentennial was a bust, with all the "preparations", it ended up being one evening the same night as Hope’s wedding. It was like all of a sudden, "let’s get this SL over with". Hope’s wedding, Bo’s return to be hero, Bo gets sick, goes to a party and dies all in one day!

I enjoyed Ben’s story but again after all the buildup, poof, its over.on to the next. Now, we have Brady and Theresa again, and Nu Philip returning to get close to Belle?

It seems that Days is going down quick

….not to mention those adorble dimples and the twinkle in his eye!

Anyone know what Jay’s  doing these day and if DOOL tried to get him to come back?

I am not impressed. Not only does he seem sleazy, I really didn’t like his demeanor.

I also remember him as Farah Fath (Mimi’s) real life boy friend on Dirty Soaps. All I remember is she had surgery and he was a real a** to her. Don’t care for him at all.

I so agree with you. People have been critical of so many of the new actors. Then after awhile, most come around to liking the actors.

I don’t have a problem with Ciara. I don’t think that every new actor comes on board and immediately catch fire. I so remember people complaining about Chandler’s (Will) smirks when he first came on, the fact that Billy’s (Chad) was so differenct from old Chad. However, they became fan favs.  i always felt that Guy Wilson never had a chance to be Will because so many people adored Chandler.

Rob (Ben) certainly started off slow and boy he turned out to be a terrific actor with this SL.

Yes, young Ciara was snarky and outspoken but this Ciara has just suffered a tremendous loss and so she is retreating into her self. Very believable.

She is so in the background that she is invisible!! Funny, cause she is usually all about being involved in her kids lives. Is she on her way out?

Wasn’t there a story line where Ciara was kidnapped and Hope blamed Bo for it happening? I thought she even told him she couldn’t trust him because he had put  Ciara in danger. Of course, she also blamed Bo for Ciara acting out while he was gone in the last few years.

How ironic that the very thing that she hated so much, allowing work to put her family in danger, is exactly what she is doing as she "avenges" Bo’s death. He did die of a brain tumor, which might have nothing to do with hie being held in captivity.
