many young people feel that Soaps are a stepping stone to nighttimeTV or even better, movies. Perhaps, he feels that he had doen all he can onDOOL. maybe he is concerned he will be typecast to play gays, or maybe he just wantss to try to succeed in the "big time". Hope, Marlena and Roman (I use character names to easily identify people) all left and went to nighttime series.
Younger actors like Chloe, Melanie, Chad, Philip have all left to try their hand at movies or tv. Chloe was in one movie, Pilip had a short loved tv show, Melanie was on True Blood as a band member, Chad had some guest stars in TV.
One of the former DOOL’s ehat made it was the original Eric who is still starring on Supernatural.
Most however, end up coming back to daytime. But they will never know unless they try.
Actually, Stefano prefers ANY woman. Marlena. Kate, Marsha (Chad’s mom), Celeste. All beautiful but not all Asian.
Where does it say that every character on the show has to be outgoing and gregarious? If Tori is a true Japanese woman, she would be quiet. After all, she has always been uneasy being in Salem because shewas afraid that the secret would come out. I think she is playing thw part the way it needs to be played
Well since Gabby is in prison, I would think that it is Rafe’s business to look out for his niece.
It seems like a disease that runs wild in Salem: Daniel, Nicole. Mel, Kate, Jen, Will, Sonny, Victor, Maggie have all butt into others business with more or less reasons. At least Rafe is related to Ariana.

After eveything that has happened, Sonny feels the necessity to tell Paul that his mother is a liar. REALLY- cause this is Sonny’s business? So is this Sonny’s way of getting revenge onPaul for sleeping with Will?
Everyone says that J is none of Danile’s business. I really think that Sonny should have left this item alone.
Actually, Sonny spends more time with the baby than Will. However, the baby sitter, Lucas and Adrienne watch her more than either one of them. That is really ironic too cause Will could easily work at home!!
So Brady and Daniel knew each other when they were young? Did Brady recognize Daniel when he first came to town?
I have never been a Mel fan. I don’t like her expressions or her goofy ways and her "in your face attitude". I think it was dumb when she went out of her way to defend Brady against Theresa to the point of fighting with her . I also think she is too young for Brady. I really didn’t get why she came back and think her return was a failure.
What gets me is in her mind this is about her and Eve’s vendetta against her. The comment "she goes after every man, Frandkie, Jack, Daniel and now JJ". Is she for real?
Why would she encourage JJ to get back with Paige? She should be counseling him to get o with his life and let Paige go.
She is just as delusional as Eve!!
I really hopes Paige lets all of them have it- Eve, Jen and JJ.
I agree, Patti. I also thought that he had a hand in he whole thing. he is toying with Abigail, not because he wants her back but because he wants her to pay for betraying him with his brother. The actor does a great job at being a devious wolf in sheep’s clothing. I didn’t pick up on the watch but caught the smirk on his face. Ben sees through him but Abigail loves the attention so she doesn’t see what is in front of her face. Hope and Maggie have his number, showing who are the smart ones in Salem. However, Dhad needs to watch out for Clyde!
If she stopped taping in December, how come we are just finding out about it? What was the point of her returning?
Freddie’s contract is up and it sounds like it was his decision.
It’s too bad they tape so far in advance. It will take till fall for the new writers materail to hit the tv!
They wil have to start taping the anniversary show in May.
Actually, I can sympathize with Adrienne’s situation. After all, Justin was not too nice to her when he returned to Salem. Whether or not he is guilty of cheating, he really didn’t do anything to put her mind at ease. He has been away for some time, and their relationship was very strained.
Enter Lucas, who has been a friend and more importantly, treated her like someone to cherish. After confronting Justin, he did nothing to give her any hope that Justin wanted to be with her. With all that insecurity, I can understand why she decided to be with Lucas.
Off course, it cannot last as Justin is returning. I am guessing there will be some explanation for Justin’s actions. But in my opinion, he acted like a as*to her. Time will tell.
Will already did the math. That is why he destroyed the story because he made the connection between John and Tori. I would like to think that he realized the connection and was trying to spare Marlena (his beloved Grandma) the trama that the news might cause.
It reamins to be seen what other fallout will come of this.
