We are spending the winter on Miami Beach and were on the beach the other day. It was a riot to watch the passerbys. A couple walked along the shore line, she had earphones and was obviously listening to dance music while her partner was busy talking on the phone. On the way back, she was still moving to the beat and he was texting. Another couple were sitting on the the beach, each texting and ignoring each other. It is so funny to see people sitting together and testing or talking way too lud on the phone!!! Might as well be alone.

Well, that is not surprising . I am sure that this will all be blamed on Bo’s absence. However, Hope has never been a "hands on" mom. Ciara is always at sleepovers, play dates and with Gramma Brady or Abe. She really doesn’t spend much time with Hope.

It is not hard to see that she has little guidance from her mother!!

Both Jen and Hope need to pay attention to their kids!

What I don’t get is her kids will be in school next year. I am sure she could work a deal to be home when they get out. I think she plans on doing other things and decided the soap grind is getting old. Best of luck to her.

I never thought I’d say this but she looked frumpy!! That sweater made her look fat (which I know she is not) and old!!! Not  flattering at all! Also don’t like her hair flat, much nicer when soft curls. Color is too dark for her!

Well, HE has a lot more to lose than Abigal! Exactly, what will Sami do when she discovers that EJ bedded young Abigail. Whether or not you believe that she was the aggressor, as many do, it still will appear that EJ is the bad guy in this situation. THere is also the fact that she is still snooping around about the Gabi and Nick thing and knows it will bite both he and Sami in the behind!!

SO EJ has a lot to lose and Abigail has everything to gain.

I too am very impressed with Pope Francis. I truly hope he continues to make the Catholic Church a welcoming church to all as Jesus would have done.

Many people who grew up in a relgion become comfortable in its "teachings" because "it has always been that way". However, as time goes by, society changes.

When I was young, we lived in a small town, where every ethnic group had their own catholic church catering to their flock, in their native language— Italian, Polish, Slovak, German, Lithuanian, etc. We also had many Christain churches, Baptist, Methodist, Luteran, etc. We also had several synagogues. As Catholics, we were taught that we COULD not enter church from another religion.  We were also encouraged to " stick with your won kind (ethnic group and religion).

As I grew up, many customs gave way, as Irish and Italian married as many other ethnic groups. Next intermarriage between Protestants and Catholics– you can even get married in a Protestant  church.

Howeve, you still can’t get remarried in the church without an annulment. These restrictioncause many to leave the church and some to pick and choose what to follow.

The Catholic church is slow to catch up, but eventually begins to loosen up. However it takes the "fathful" longer!!

As for Gays, I guess it depends on the particular parish. I think most young people really don’t care.

Me, I am an older person, but my mother taught me to judge people by how they treat me!

I am not trying to cause controversy, however the Catholic Church has just as many teachng about pre-marital sex, adultery, sex outside of marriage, divorce and remarriage, and living together without marriage. So, the church would probably say watching DOOL is somewhat against the Church’s teaching, especially as Days always includes the church in the storyline.

That said, nowadays, most Catholics pick and choose what they want to believe and what teaching they wish to follow.

I, too, often FF through the bedroom scenes, just cause I am more interested to the SL action than the romp in the hay. (For example all of EJ and Abby’s scenes).

I also think that for some older people, it might be awkward to see things that for so long has been told is wrong. I wouldn’t want to se Maggie and Victor in bed either, although I am sure they have their moments!!

Typically, it is done around 6 weeks to 2 months after the child’s birth. Today, parents need to attend classes before the baptism, so depending on how often the parish runs the classes could delay it.

However, it IS up to the parents and as Gabi stated, she wanted Rafe to be there, so she delayed it until he could attend.

Other religions sometimes wait until the child is older.

How do you know they are not gay? But really, an actor plays a part, usually not what they are like in real life.

It’s like saying that Brady should really be an alcoholic, or all the women in Salem are of loose morals!!

    IT’s actin.
