Let’s stop amd think about this. Apparently, she had no idea that her cop husband was on the take with a secret bank account and a lover. So everything about her life with her husband is a lie!! I don’t particularly like her character, but I feel that she is believable in her reaction.
Her husband is dead, and now it appears that he was a scum bag! Of course she would go off the rail. She spent all her energy defending her husband’s good name and now discovers he has no good name! (This is just as severe as JJ’s discovery).
The fact that she appears unkempt also rings true as she spirals into depression and denial. She is in pain and cannot accept the truth. She need a villain, someone to blame. I feel that she is playing the part very realistically. the fact that so many people don’t like her shows she is acting well.
justwonderingParticipantJen took a stand. She asked family members to support her and not take him in. She really felt that JJ would come hom when he realized he had no where to go. Since the weather is getting colder, she felt sure he would come back and ask her to let him stay. I truly feel that was her plan and hope. She didn’t expect him to be so defiiant and stubborn. JJ is alike like Jack–when things don’t go his way, just leave–Jack has done that repeatedly.
His memory of his dad is so one sided that it doesn’t occur to him that like all humans, Jack WAS NOT a saint. He feels that his mom and to some extent his sister are being disloyal to to his dad. What he doesn’t get is that life goes on, and they must move on as he should also. The past cannot be undone, and he must learn to deal with it.
However, he will continue to spiral downward as his memories of his dad are shattered. Ironically, Jack would be the first to drop JJ for his attitude toward Jenn. Jack would never approve of JJ’s actions.
justwonderingParticipantI would like it better if Cameron got a new job elsewhere and he and Gabi left togetheer. Only problem is why the baby would stay with the boys. maybe Cameron’s job is out of the country–Doctors without borders and it is too dangerous for the baby to go. Or let the baby go and the boys can just be a couple.
justwonderingParticipantJJ has always had rosy glasses where his dad is concerned. Even if the rape isn’t revealed, Jack had done dozens of disappearing acts, often letting family think he was dead.
I really don’t think JJ had much interaction with Jack because he was at boarding school most of his life. His memoires are mostly made up in his imagination.
It is about time he learn the truth. Jack was a lousy dad!! Jen really wasn’t a much better mom.
justwonderingParticipant1. Marge saw Adrienne and let her have it. She states that they are celebrating over their victory that has destroyed her family. When Adrienne defends Justin, Marge goes after her, stating trhat Adrienne pretended to be her friend only to turn on her. Marge had decided that Justin and EJ ruined her life, but the real truth will come out.
2. Sami comes home to Stefano rehanging his portrait. She goes crazy and tells him to get out of her house. She tells him that she will call EJ and EJ will throw him out. Stefano tells her to calm down and to all EJ. As he stands there she realizes what has happened.
3. Marge sees EJ leave Rafe’s room and states that EJ had gotten Rafe to lie about "her Joe" to help his"trampy ex wife".
justwonderingParticipantAnn is HR,her job is to do the paper work, period.
As for Jen, although I don’t always like her, she doesn’t work any less than the rest of Salem. Actually, Nicole works more than most of Salem!!!
justwonderingParticipantThere really isn’t much to comment on since it is the same old story.
Jennifer tells Daniel to leav them alone, again.
Chad lies to his girlfriend, again.
EJ blackmails someone, again.
Gabi and Nick are together, again.
Nick is becoming obessed, again.
Kristen continues to plot, again.
Marlena has the truth in her grasp, again.
Nothing new here.
justwonderingParticipantI really think this is happening on one day.
justwonderingParticipantPerhaps Chandler feels that he has done all he can with this character or that he would become typed cast as a gay character. He might also feel that he wants to see what other opportunities are out there while his name is known in the industry.
You really can’t blame actors for looking after themselves because TPTB can fire them at will.
Bonbon, as you state many actors have left and not gained employment or fame, but having a soap job is not always guaranteed. Just ask Bryan ( who has been fired numerous times), Kyle (OLD Brady, Ari’s hubby), Vivian (sorry don’t know her real name) Matt (Jack has been let go more times then I remember), or even Cameron 1 and 2!! There are plenty others. TPTB used them up and spit them out.
I wish him well, hopefully he DOES go to school and get a degree. It might come in handy if acting doesnt work out.
justwonderingParticipantLooks younger than current Will.
Patti–I know that Chad and Cameron are leaving. is Gabi also leaving? Doesn’t leav too many young ones, does it?
justwonderingParticipantI actually liked the deep yet vibrant colors that Marlena wore. The blue is electrifying and loved the purse to match. Marlena is older, but I think she can carry that look well. At the ame time, I don’t think that Jennifer looked good in her dress. it appeared too tight and was not flattering at all.
Perhaps, Kristen dresses young to be closer to Brady’s age as she is much older than her is.
justwonderingParticipantsee if this works eom
justwonderingParticipantHow about the cutoutthat wasn’t very flattering?
justwonderingParticipanti have two comments to make about the prosecutor;
1. I feel that she is up and coming in the town and feels that winning this case can make a name for her, so she is all in. She wants to appear strong and unconcerned that she is taking on the DiMeras who are very powerful. That is why she acts tough and direct.
2. I feel that attorneys in general are all actors. The way they present a case can make or break it. I actually feel that this is realistic in that she is trying to appear strong and independent, one who is not afraid of the DiMera. THe say the best defense is a good offense. She proved today that she is not dumb enough to fall for Justin’s plan.
So fae she is holding her own as far as the trial is going.
justwonderingParticipantYes, JJ has issues. He spent his childhood away at boarding school. He certainly learned alot there, cause he got kicked out for drugs.
He missed saying goodby to his dad, very unfortunate but it happens quite often to soldiers, cops, and many other who die unexpectedly. But after all, Jack spent more time away than home!!
He came home and immediately starting judging his mom for getting on with her life (granted very quickly, but then Jack was away more than home).
He blames everyone for his troubles except himself. Time to grow up JJ and face the music.
As for Dan being at the police station, he brought Abigail and to see if he could help. Well, considering jen just learned that her son is as bad as everyone told her, she could use a friendly face. JJ has no right to complain cause he brought this on himself.
