It couldn’t be too far away cause Kirsten and Nicole got there very quickly!!! Kristen also got back home fast.
justwonderingParticipantit is called " Do as I say, not as I do"
justwonderingParticipantI thought the same thing. Both kristen and Nicole got there in no time. I don’t see why Eric didn’t stay home andcome then next day!!!
justwonderingParticipantI know this is a set up so Will, Sonny and Gabi can be "three’s company- new version", but I am disappointed in this part of the SL. It is hard to believe that Nick turned to Gabi to prove to himself that he wasn’t "gay" because of the prison encounters.
Poor Gabi has the worst luck in the sorld–Her first love , Will, is gay. Chad chose her best friend over her. Then Nick has no true feelings for her. Her love life is worse than Nicole!!
It seems that Nick is not going to be redeemed at all.
justwonderingParticipantI would have to say that it takes two to tangle. After all, Brady wasn’t pushing her away too convincingly!!
Nicole has always had a soft spot for Brady and well—Eric isn’t really available so what’s a girl to do???
justwonderingParticipantWell, I am not sure it is so far fetched. People are often sucked into doing bad things for financial stability. After all, police don’t make tons of money. If he is older and started his family late in life, he might be trying to make sure his family is protected in case something happens to him. Perhaps he worked for Stefano a long time and was in too deep.
If you ever watch investigation, 48 hours, and other such shows, this happens often that a person has a double life that their partner has no idea about.
justwonderingParticipantI thought Marlena was excellent with John. She spoke from the heart and head and said everything John had coming to himl. Just hope she sticks to her guns and tells him to hit the bricks. She doesn’t need John’s mind games anymore.
justwonderingParticipantI loved Marlena today (Tues.) She was strong and determined and spoke her mind to John. She really let him have it. He acted like he couldn’t believe what she was saying. She was much more like the strong woman she has always been.
John has become a loser. Don’t know how he can overcome this. Is he really done?
justwonderingParticipantThis is so contrary to John’a nature. Marlena has ALWAYS been his true love. They have ruined his character by having him state that he has feelings for Kristen!!
Marlena should give him his walking papers and never look back.
justwonderingParticipantJust for the record, I do not dislike Sami. I really don’t think that I have bad mouthed her, either. I take Sami for what she is, a woman who has never gotten over her mom and John on the conference table. A girl who is willing to do anything to get what she wants. A girl who will always have a reason for her actions and who has never thought before flying into a rage. But that is Sami and I accept her for who she is. There have been times when I have agreed with her actions and times that I have not. But I do like her. Life in Salem would be dull without her.
As for Kate–she has always been the bad one. However, she has a way about her. She certainly has been through a great deal in her life, starting with her first husband. She has been rich, poor, stuck on a fishing boat, waitressing at a small diner. She has been with powerful men, both Victor and Stefano. I like her best when she is vulnerable with Roman and with Rafe. I feel that she has paid for her sins as much as any villain in Salem, more than Vivian ot Nicole.
I think that both Lauren and Ali are great actresses because they make a person either cheer or boo for them and trhat is their job. I know that Eileen is a good actress but I just don’t care for her character, Kristen.
I look forward to the new story lines that are beginning and hope that they are well done.
justwonderingParticipantPatti,
You always seem like you have inside information about the show, so I was wondering if your conclusions are based on inside info or just your own opinions. The reasons I ask is that I do not come to the same conclusions as you have.
Kate wanted to break up with Rafe because she heared for his safety. It was Rafe who felt that it was not necessary. Kate wanted to keep their affair quiet, Rafe was the one who didn’t care who knew of their relationship. So my conclusion is that Rafe feels like their relationship is more than friends with benefits.
It appears that you do not care for Kate. But I like this SL because it is different. So many times an older man is paired with a younger woman. I like the reverse for a change. Will it last? Probably not, but then no one stays together on a soap.
I also disagree that Stefano has no feeling for Kate. I think that Stefano and Kate were well matched and had true feelings for each other. Even Chad believes that there is still a spark between them. Otherwise, he wouldn’t care what happened to her or who she was with.
As for Sami, again i state that Sami ALWAYS wants the one she is NOT with!!! Rafe always made her feel safe and put her before himself. EJ wants to conquer her once and for all.
i am glad that we can offer our own opinions, as you can see we differ alot on this subject.
justwonderingParticipantI am with hyou, MoGirl. I thought I might be the nly one who likes the pairing of Rafe and Kate. At first I was skeptical, but now I like it. It started as a rebound for both of them, but I think it has developed and there is no pretense. They do seem to like being together.
As for Sami, i think that she does still have feelings for Rafe. IT also annoys her that OF aall prople, Rafe woul turn to Kate–Sami’s number 1 enemy!! Sami has always wanted whom she isn’t with. As they say, "the lady doth protest too much". She hates that Rafe has moved on and that dries EJ nuts!!!!!
I say, go Rate.
justwonderingParticipantI am wondering if this video goes on Adrienne’s phone and that is why she doen’t want sonny involved with Will/
justwonderingParticipant"high top" hair is becoming popular with young crowd.
justwonderingParticipantI apologize because after reading my post, I realize that I was not clear about what I was trying to say.
1.When I said he was not that bad, I meant the actor was portraying a young man who feels that he has been wrong. I was referring to the fact that some have said that he was not a good actor. I maintain that he is a good actor judgin by all the comments about him.
2. Many people have stated that they thought it was not belivable that a 17 year old would act this way. I was commenting that I thought it was realistic because of his years away from the family, he is stunted emotionally.
3. I never meant to imply that I approved of his behavior, just that I felt it was plausable given his history.
4. As far as Jennifer giving him checks, I believe that she feels very guilty that she sent him to boarding school for so long. JJ also is very good at laying on the guilt, he is no dummy. THe bottom line is Jen is his mom and she wants to believe he is basically a good kid. Yes, he is a brat, but he is still her son.
5. As far as the comment that he would be in military school—he WAS in boarding school, it obviously didn’t work!
6. Yes– he is delinquent. MY point was auppose to be that the actor is doing a good job at selling it. Yes, he has a chip on his shoulder and into drugs, etc, but then again Melanie was a thief, liar and brat when she first came on. Nobody has a bigger chip on his shoulder than Chad! On the VERY first DOOL episode was about Julie shop lifting at a department store. Remember when Lucas came back from military school? Let’s not forget Sami trying to get rid of Belle, so I don’t think this story line is so different from ALL the troubled teens on this show through the year.
YEs, Patti, I think that they are making him bad so he can be redeemed as so many others have been!! Finally, I was speaking of the actor playing the part of a mixed up, angry young man and doing it well especially since he never acted before.
