I am so glad that someone else liked those scenes, MK. It was played just right. Waking up to discover you did something really dumb! Admiting it and finding some humor in it!!! Rafe sure has chemistry with Kate. You are also right– have no proble with them Hooking up. they are adults and unattached. Anything but EJ and Sami–I can’t take that,
justwonderingParticipantI agree with you, Patti. Each of the scenes did tie in with that statement. It doesn’t matter if I love the scene, (Nicole and Eric), tolerate the scene (Jen/Daniel/ Chloe) or yell and throw things at the TV (Kristen/Brady) and especially (Sami/EJ), at least I am reacting to the show. And isn’t that the point?
No one will like all SL, but the idea is that there are enough stories to peak the interest of many different people. Right now, I do like the pace of the stories and look forward to watching each day. (I know that many will react differently but I even kind of liked Rafe and Kate.)
justwonderingParticipantWell, Parker need somone and he can’t depend on Chloe! Daniel arranged for Maggie to "watch" Parker the night they were going to Chicago. Meanwhile, Chloe and Ann were trying to track down Jen and sabatoge the date. Then Maggie has to leave and Parker is burning up!!!! Like Maggie wouldn’t have check 25 times on him throughout the evening! This SL is ridiculous!!
What really get me angry is the idea that a woman cannot handle a health emergency of her child WITHOUT the father being present. I had 5 kids and through the years all of them ended up in emergency hospital visits, most of the time WITHOUT my husband. (Either he was at work or traveling for work) I never fell apart nor worried about what to do. Chloe is certainly capable and intelligent. I would be ashamed to fall apart like she is.
justwonderingParticipantOh who i would love that she IS Nicole’s daughter and Johnny is Lucas so there is NO connection between EJ and Sami. That would be perfect.
justwonderingParticipantThe actor used to be on Dexter. He was quiet on that show too. He is a cute child, but doesn’t seem too personable or comfortable in front of the cameras.
justwonderingParticipantHow long has Chloe been Parker’s mother? She doesn’t know what to do with a child with a fever? What else can Daniel do? I cannot understand these more damsels who don’t know how to handle an emergency. You take him to the hospital and deal with it. It wouldn’t matter if Daniel was there or not. He is not available, so take control and be the parent. Many times a parent cannot be around 24-7/ I cannot stand weak women who cannot cope!!!
What on earth did she do when she lived in Chicago befor Daniel was around.
justwonderingParticipant"I guess what bothers me more than anything is that straight actors are so willing to do it and then perform their roles, especially their love scenes so naturally that it makes me wonder if they might possibly be bi-sexual"
To me it is no different than straight couples who have love scenes together. After all, Alison and James look very natural and comfortable together. However, they are not involved in real life. I remember Galen’s wife not liking love scenes between her hubby and Alison– but it is her hubby!!
I think to an actor it is just a scene. That they can make you believe it is real is what makes them a good actor.
I kind of like more left to the imagination. Like going into the bedroom and closing the door, fade to black.
justwonderingParticipantI didn’t think that they ever slept together. Maybe I missed it, but I thought they never got together.
justwonderingParticipantThis parlor looked like the room Stef was in the night he was "killed" by Ian,
justwonderingParticipantI tried tracking it down but couldn’t. I thought I saw it, but maybe I imagined it!!!
January 30, 2013 at 4:36 am in reply to: Maybe it’s just me, but does anyone else find it a bit odd that…. #37538justwonderingParticipantTheir former role was Harison Morgan on Dexter. He seems very shy and no I haven’t heard him say anything. They do seem too old for the role. Except for Johnny, DOOL don’t do a great job at casting young children.
justwonderingParticipant"Out of sight, out of mind". It is not like he was front burner, more like just there kind of like Roman or Abe.
justwonderingParticipantyes, it would great to show that a priest is human, and he has conflicting feelings as I am sure many do. But I would also like to see him resist temptations and be a true, good, faithful priest.
I would also like to see Nicole with Rafe (for awhile) caus I am sure that EJ and Sami woule be so jealous, cause they would never want Nicole and Rafe together.
justwonderingParticipantWell, in this case, it was the LOCAL NBC network that interrupted the show. Somehow I don’t think PresidentObama called the station and said, " Make sure you interrupt DOOL cause I know Bonbon is watching and I want to really get under her skin". ‘
I am spending the winter here in Miami and when it happened, you, Bonbon, were the first person I thought of!!
justwonderingParticipantThat’s because it is a one season show. it was cancelled in Nov. so I guess they tied up all the loose ends. My hubby thinks that it was just too close to truth in these times of uncertain conditions in the world. I really enjoyed this show and I love Andre Baugher.
