Jen said that Jack always loved Big Sur because he spent summer vacations there with his adopted father. Jack and Jen had talked about taking a trip there just recently but it never happened. So she felt that it was the perfect place for his ashes. (this was on Thursday, Aug.30)

Personally, I feel that the POTUS should have one term, no re election. Then there is no campaigning. I also feel that there should be term limits on Congress and public office in general. Maybe 20 years max and NO pension.  Although, I must say if Congress got Social Security, they would make sure it was solvent!!!

As for the POTUS traveling–he has no choice as he has to travel on AF1. He also cannot drive and really has no money to speak of, his money is held in trust. It makes it hard to go anywhere without a car or money!

As for the President– a known person is better then an unknown. I live in Pennsylvania where  Republicans were elected to govenor and most of the legislature. Of course, he pledged no tax increase and kept his word.  Then cut all the budget items especially education. So taxes have to be passed on the local level.

I fear that Romney will be for big business and the rich. Changes in medicare and Social Security will hurt many. It is a chance I cannot afford. JMHO–I do not want to ruffle feathers, just express my opinion.

I believe that the original story was going to show and explain more of the story of Ian and Yvette. For example the cane that Ian carried had the sign of the Phoenix and was suppose to be revealed in the story. this seemed to be dropped when the new writers came on board. I also feel that they decided to shorten the story and that made it hard to follow. it seems too rushed in ending the story, leaving many questions unanswered and threads detached.

I am not sure how the letters play into this. Obviously, Alice’s letter was a fake, but is there another letter>? What about Stefano’s letter–fake or real? (Also with Bo leaving, it coudl change the original plan).

Guess we will have to be patient and wait to see what happens next.

I can understand Johnny being Lucas’s child, but cannot see how Sydney can be his. Unless they change history cause Sami was with EJ when Lucas got out of jail.

It is somewhat unrealistic that EVERY member of Will’s family would be so understanding and accepting of his lifesyle announcement. Yes, Roman and Sami were upset at first, but jumped in line rather quickly. Most families have a long and hard road before acceptance. Some never do.

It is possible that deep down Will feels that what T said has some truth to it, being that they are supportive to his face but really upset behind his back. maybe , Will also feels that this is something that he can control and change.  After hearing everything T said to him, I can understand him going to Gabby.

Ok, if Jessica Fallon is Maggie’s daughter, that makes Nick her grandson.  If I remember, Jessica was raised by Maggie, but not her biological daughter, so Nick and mel are not blood related.

The back story of Ian, being Yovette and Santo’s son and thus part DiMera is interesting. This must have been part of the original story with his cane.  Kind of wish they continued with this SL, it would have been explained so much. Instead they rushed it all in one episode. Kind of loses its impact.

The question is what was in Alice’s letter?

Jen has just lost the "love of her life" again.  It is far too soon for her to reconnect with Dan or anyone else. Maggie, of all people, should know how important it is to grieve alone. It takes time to come to terms with any tragedy. It is not a time to jump into a new relationship!!!  Since Daniel has also gone through this, he should also know better.

Yes, it is an old story. Friends with benefits, or friends feeling lonely, getting drunk and getting close.  Like Philip and Chloe, fut I could never call what EJ and Sami has as "friends", more like control.

Isn’t this a rerun of Phil and Chloe?  Now what, Gabi gets pregnant and Will needs to do the honorable thing????   THIS SL is from the NEW writers????   Sounds like a rerun to me.   (Wow they did this same thing with Julie and David Banning( I think) close to 40 years ago.  Can anyone say "lets do an original storyline"?

if I remember correctly, Jack has died several times before. Yet he always seems to come back so who knows.

I was thinking the same thing.  It is one thing to sympathize with EJ"s predicament. It is also acceptable to help him find the real killer. It doesn’t explain having a romantic dinner and wine instead of planning and looking for evidence!!

I think that Sami needs to step back and look realistically at how she feels about EJ. She needs to decide what she wants from her relationship with him. Is he her friend, the father of her children  or somethihng more? Until she does, she shouldn’t be with Lucas, Rafe or anyone!!!!

I guess she is lucky she works for EJ or she wouldn”t have a job!!!

More than anyone else, Nicole has always needed and wanted a man. She also believes that to keep a man, there has to be sex. Since she tole Father matt that she has a new man in her life, I thik that she is afraid that Dan won’t stay around without her number one asset (sex).

That said, I always felt that it was dangerousr for Nicole to be having so much sex considering her high risk pregnancy. She kept saving that her number one priority was her child, but her actions were all about getting close to Daniel.
