I just hope his words about loving Sami is not a hint that something could bring tem together. I have always loved Lucas but Sami needs to stand on her own and not end up in his arms
justwonderingParticipantDon’t like her, don’t trust her, don’t believe her. Liked him with Nicole the best.
justwonderingParticipantYes Sami is selfish and immature. But who is EJ to tell her that she deserves to be alone? EJ was a willing particiant to their latest rendevous and Ej is more about winning and being in control.
There they are —-the pot and the kettle, they are so alike but yet different. Sami has never grown up and needs to blame others for her failures. EJ is intelligent and sophisicated and has a need to be in control–but never reponisble for his failures.
justwonderingParticipantI am not sure if I am happy Lucas is back. i have always loved him with Sami but I think that ship has sailed. I just don’t want him to come between Rafe and Sami ge4tting back together.
justwonderingParticipantYes, Bayside is really nice. I have been there twice before ( my daughter lives in North Miami), but this is the first time I went with my hubby. He really enjoyed it especially the Mojito bars! It was a great day just walking around and enjoying the scenes not to mention the food. As far as parking fee, I am from Pennsylvania and we have places that charge for parking.
We went to Miami because our son-in-law became a US citizen and we went down for the ceremony. The INS really did a memorable job with modern music (God Bless the USA, Coming to Aerica and of course Ray Charles America ) and a speaker. Each new citizen got a framed certificate and a small flag. They also gave flags to his 3 children. It was an memorable experience for our whole family.
justwonderingParticipantWe were in Florida last month and went to the Bayside Marketplace. they too have an open air mall with many resteraunts on the dock. Also have thm throughout the mall area. People were walking with drinks. Since the places have tables out like a food court , it might explain the drinks.
New Orleans also allows drinks in the street but it must be in plastic cups.
justwonderingParticipant"Some will say "Well, you watched adultry, murder, kidnapping, lying, cheating, stealing, wife-swapping, husband swapping all those 21 years, why is this any different?" "
I included your comment from your statement because I have a comment about it. You have watched for 21 years and have seen all of the above that are all sins. But you endured.
I understand your frustartion about the current storyline, but it is Not a sin to kiss someone. So I don’t understand how you can love all those sinners but stop watching over a kiss. I feel that DOOL is trying to portray a SL that currently exists in our world. So far I have to say they have done it well I was never in favor of Will being part of this SL cause it is not something you can take back and I am not sure how much they wish to concentrate on this SL. If this one SL can undo all the things you mentioned and cause you to stop watching, then I wish you well. I don’t see this SL as any different than the above mentioned SL and this one won’t last forever Perhaps you will decide to return in the future.
I do feel that the kiss was overly dramatic and I was somewhat disappointed in that scene, but I can accept that the beer and Will’s frustration at his mother coudl contribute to the aggressiveness of the kisses. That said I hope that this will betones down as the story progresses.
justwonderingParticipantBut remember he found out Tony wasn’t his son and he still loved him. Stefano is more forgiving than EJ. he still has Chad and maybe someone else.
justwonderingParticipantPersonally I fell that EJ is more evil than Stefano. It really doesn’t matter if he is Stefano’s son, he is the problem. He has no soul or con science, if he did he would not have thrown out Sydney when he thought she wasn’t his child. I don’t understand how Nicole could be with him after he did that and after he pretended Sydney was dead. I really hope if Nicole iis pregnant, the baby is Brady’s.
justwonderingParticipantI never really cared for her from the beginning. She seemed to have an agenda, not just business wise. I cannot understand how she would lead Brady on if she were a good person since she was married.
Now she claims she hate Ian but yet she goes after Kate cause of her past iwht Ian, I don’t trust her at all.
justwonderingParticipantWhat was with Maggie making "nice" with Ian. I would think that a wife would be on her husband’s side no matter what. I thought she acted very childish.
justwonderingParticipantBonbon, I think I understand you meaning. Yes, Lexi has been a weak person when it comes to fidelity and covering up her misdeeds. But in her eyes Abe has ALWAYS been above all that. (Except for the Fay thing). She expects her family to be evil and manipulating, but never thought that abe would stoop to that. Also she is embarrassed that she kept praising him as the perfect person, who would never do anything that hinted at scandal. Now she is faced with the reality that he is a mere mortal who makes mistake.
It is hard to accept because Lexi has such a checkered past. It seems to be a reoccuring theme on Days—-people not being truthful, keeping secrets and of course the truth always coming out. Then there is the fallout. Each of the main characters are experiencing keeping secrets. Personally, I believe that some secret are meant to be kept.
justwonderingParticipantI understand your frustration about Sami, but in real life there are many like her who cannot let go of the past cause it is easier to blame it than to grow up.
justwonderingParticipantThat would connect Ian to Vivian not Kate.
justwonderingParticipantSami has always been immature and unable to take responsability for her actions so she is staying true to her nature. The fact that so many people hate Sami means that Ali is doing her job well. After all if everyone was sweet and mature, there would be no show. There has to be fractured people who are not too nice.
Sami is a product of her past who has never matured nor grown up because she is unable to take any responsibility for becoming a strong woman who is in control of herself. It is much easier to blame others of her failures than to admit she has no one to blame but herself.
I guess it is frustrating that after all these years, she has not grown up. Now, she may very well lose the best things she has ever had because she cannot let go of the past.
