I agree with you bluebonnet. this is a shock to daniel who had nno clue that this wa possible. He had a great reationship with his parents and so it is inconceivable that this could be true.

But another thought comes to mind

what makes a mother?  Is your mother the person who provided the egg or the person who raised you, held you when you were scared, took care of you when you were sick, encouraged you when you were down, taught you to be all that you are? Daniel has all these memories of his MOTHER-the woman who raised him and loved him. It would seem wrong for him to throw her aside for a acquaintance.

While it is interesting for Maggie to discover this, it is a huge step to say "I am your mother" to someone who had a happy childhood and a loving mother.  I totally understand Daniel’s reaction.

John is Marlena’s husband. I don’t think that she could ever think that her husband is guilty. Call it loyalty or love, she would never consider it. Remember how upset people were when Brady didn’t stand by Ariana?

I think that she cannot accept Sami being against John. Especailly cause in the beginning Sami was very supportive of John. Also how would Sami have seen the evidence? Or is she just listening to Austin?

First sucessful in vitro baby was born in 1978. That would mean that Daniel can’t be any older than 33.   Melanie is 20—wow he was one young doctor when Carly bedded him LOL!!!

A 60 year old getting pregnant is more realistic than this SL.  By the way, how old is Maggie?

There is a difference between working women and corporate women. This is a much higher level than just a working woman. Please do not misunderstand me, I have real respect for working women. I worked over 40 years, while raising a family and maintaining a household. You really work 2 full time jobs, without much help.

But the corporate world has its own set of morals and behaviors. Madison is a big time player and is willing to do anything to get ahead.

So where is this money and what was its intention? seems to me that Daniel’s parents were rich and well connected so they certainly didn’t need money. So what is the purpose of the money?

I too thought it was a bit much. Starting getting uncomfortable an ended up FF it. Must admit that Brady’s face really looks scrubbed and shiny when he was done.

I do think that Madison had a real agenda with this session. Not sure if it was an attraction to Brady or a come on to get him on her side. I’m not sure her motives are above board.

yes, she picked Parker because it was Daniel’s mother’s maiden name.

I agree about Melanie, she has a history of going after other people’s boyfrieneds.  She doesn’t seem like she even realizes what she is doing. ironically, she would be the first to cry foul if it was done to her. Mainly, she hates to be on her own and doesn’t care who gets hurt. She is quite a flirt and not a very good friend.

I disagree withyou concenring Abby’;s reaction to her father. Probably because she adore him so much, it is hard for her to accept that he is not who she thought he was. I really cannot blame her especially since he immedaitely attacked Chad without even getting to know him. I am sur4e that Abby feels that jack lost the right to run her life when he left his family. Yes he was help captive, but NO one made him take the assignment in the first place. He has a family and had to choolse what wasmost important to him. As usual, he chose the story over his family. This is not the first time Jack has done this, maybe Abby just got tired of being second to his job.

How true BonBon. I see it with my own 3 sons. My husband  likes to give advice and often they do not want to hear it. He is tough on them and they feel that they are adults.

I always said that a mother’s job was to help child fly and a father’s job was to bring tham back down. As a person gets older they realize that parents try to help with experience they had. Unfortunately when you are young you think you know everything.

I think most sons feel that their dads are too tough on them. It is a complicated relationship. But in most cases down with love. Being a parent is the toughest job with no manual to help.

I thought that Mickey was sterile. That is how he discovered that Jen was Bill’s daughter with Laura and not Mickey.

Maggie’s house is empty, so there is lots of room there. Also there would be room at the Horton house where Jen is staying. Anything is better than Sami’s  tiny apartment.

I did not mean to imply that having help makes you a bad mother. In this day and age, everyone needs help. What I meant is that most working people do not have a nanny, cleaning lady, cook, etc.  I raised 5 children and worked fulltime. I was lucky to have a great daytime babysitter befor my kids were school age, but the household chores were still mine.

Once they were in school, laundry, cooking, cleaning, activites(sports, scouts) were my responsibility. I was lucky to have a mom to watch my kids if we went out at night.  But most of us are not the DiMeras who have live in help and can come and go as they please.

My youngest are twin boys so I know what it is like to have 2 babies. Add to it my other children were 2,4 and 7. Take whatever help you can and make sure you enjoy your kids.

I merely meant that Sami’s situation now is more realistic than before.

Abe explained that the brick was not thrown from the street cause they were too high up. He stated that it was from  a building across the way or from higher up. It is the apartment Sami stayed in for awhile befor the pipes burst and she moved to the DiMera’s.

I must admit that I guessed it as soon as this SL started. It is a way to connect Maggie to a certain person.  Have to say this is a bit out there and not sure how Victor is involved. Did Maggie know Victor at that time? Will be interesting to see where this goes, but was way too predictable for me. Would have liked a different twist!!

I imagine that Maggie’s reaction is because she always wanted another child and then finds out she has one that she doesn’t know about.

However, they refer to  a child that is certainly a grown up so that term is wrong. Also since he/she is a grown up there is no telling if there can be a relationship with said person.
