I found the situation completely believable. Sami has been a stay at home mom for a long time, days off from school were no big deal. Just getting this job has made her nervous besides she was never a fanatic house cleaner or organizer. Since she was so worried about making an impression on her boss it is understandable that she got disorganized.
I thought Madison handled that situation with a lot of class. Since she doesn’t have children, she could have been judgmental but she was gracious and calming. As for Sami being promoted, I think Madison did this because she knows how Kate feels about Sami and this would rattle Kate more coming from Sami.
Getting a full time job after being home for so long is a big step for Sami. It is nice that they show the down side like babysitting problems. Face it most people do all this with no help, nannies, cleaning lady, etc. I like the realism.
Would rather have Dario come back than Quinn.
How do you change his character’s morals–he was a bad man. Could he become a problem for EJ’s campaign–Quinn knows that EJ was in charge of the drug business? That might be interesting
Well Mel should understand Abby’s feelings for her dad. She has known him her whole life and he is her DAD. Melanie is super crazy about Daniel and didn’t know he existed until a few years ago. Remember Sami? Every girl wants her parents together, so it is natural for Abbwish for that, evenif it doesn’t happen right away.
When did this happen and WHY? I don’t get this turn of events. What kind of firend is Melanie–the girl who had such rigid morals with Chloe? It is hard to believe that she needs a man so much that she would steal him from Abby.
Is this going to be another triangle???? Don’t like this. Wish they let Dario stay, I lked him with Melanie.

I think that many writers feel that when a couple are settled and happy the automatically become "boring". Ordinary life is dull I guess cause there seems to be cracks not long after they get together .
Maybe we are enjoying Bope because they had been separated and found their way back. it is always great when they work together and I loved the glasses to add realism to their age.
Actually, I think that Jack reacted the was most dads would on finding Chad alone with his daughter in a state of semi undress. Add to that the fact that Jack knows Chad is a DiMera and he feels Chad is dangerous. As for forbidding—that is definitely something a dad would do, especailly an absentte dad who is trying to regain control of his family.
I guess I am in the minority again because I don’t think EJ truly cares for anyone except himself. To me he is all about image, control and manipulation. He sees Nicole as a means to an end–she knows he is bad so who better than to manage his campaign. He doesn’ have to pretend with her.But it is not love, it is convenience.
As for Brady and Madison, I know that they’re destined to be paired, but I don’t relly see the chemistry that others do. I fine madison to be cold, calculating, and a bit smug. I, for one, am not too keen on this pairing. JMHO
Jack I am tired of and hope they he becomes strong and less of a clown. Not sure who I want to win, cause I don’t really like Daniel’s track record with women.
I still hope that Stefano is part of the show cause he is old school evil and I like him more than EJ.
I really don’t get her. Nadia has been with Brandon for 5 years. Maybe her mother has had issues with him in the past. Brandon seems very devoted and supportive to Nadia. Or maybe it’s part of the script.
Don’t like Farah or her boyfriend. She doesn’t treat him very nice, they don’t seem like a match.
I ff thru kelly, don’t like her AT ALL. Don’t know the history of Kirsten and her parents, but she seemed really upset about her brother.
Galern seems reallt laid back and the kids seem like they just run all over. His wife was better, but she is a stay at home mom so that is her job!!
I took it as a way of showing that although they are happy to be back, they are worried because theyknow the consequences of returning to Salem. The subdued mannerisms are setting the tone for the arrest and for the questions that will arise concerning John’s activites. J&M know that many people will turn against them. It is hard to put on a happy face knowing what could happen at any moment. I think they are doing a good job at showing apprehension.
Rafe is EX FBI. he would not have any power to arrest John for federal charges cause he works for the Salem PD. My point is the FBI wouldn’t notify Rafe about the arrest nor would they ask him to make the arrest, since he has no authority. So if he was notified, why not the Salem PD since that is who Rafe works for. I also think that he shouldn’t be involved cause of Sami’s relationship to John.
I am not trying to nitpick with the new writers, but think it is careless to do things that are not logical.
At the risk of angering lots of fans, sd I said I never was a fan of EJ. Just always felt he was a phoney and felt that he is a manipulator without any genuine feelings other than being in control.
As for Jmes Scott, I have watched several interviews with him and found him to be rude, so don’t really care for him either. (Sorry if I offend anyone one JMHO)
James Scott’s contract is up in MAY 2012. Guess they wanted to start early. This makes me feel that the whole announcement was a roose—they have PLENTY of time to come to terms. Talk about premature announcement!!!!! What a publicity stunt!
I was thinking the same thing. Roman certainly would have known. Also wouldn’t the mayor be informed especailly cause John is such a well known person in Salem.
Leaking a rumor like this is helpful in getting fans to react. This helps JS to get what he wants. Nothing like fans thinking they are losing their favorite villain to make DOOL cough up some more bucks.
Personally I am not a fan of EJ so it doesn’t matter to me. However, he is very popular and is involved in a huge SL so I am sure they will work it out.
As for James Scott, if he were to leave DOOL, there are not many options in daytime TV. Not sure he is ready for nighttime TV or movies. The way Daytime is going, he is lucky to have a job.
