giving this beautiful Christmas homily during Mass that was to be so heartfelt, but I didn’t see it.  Did they mean that private discussion he had with God before Mass when no one was around?

couples the parish has scheduled for marriages.  I do believe that there is still individual interaction between the couple and the priest when there are mitigating circumstances like Gaby and Nick.

since you and I were young.  I’m 62 and have witnessed a great deal of changes since I was in my growing up years.  There is still a lot that I’d like to see change, but since my faith is very important to me, I don’t "throw the baby out with the bath water" when I’m in disagreement.  It’s a lot like living with our political system…lot’s that I disagree with, but I certainly don’t want to live anywhere else!

Nick legally adopts it; then, why do I read these stories in the news about biological parents going to court to get their offspring and winning the cases?  In cases where a bio dad did not even know that he had fathered a child then finds out the child has been adopted, he has been able to get custody.  Is the fact that Will knew about the baby and agreed to go along with this plan the difference?

Brady and Kristen.  My objection is that she is John’s ex-wife.  The fact that Brady wants to keep this a secret tells me he can’t be so dense as to not be aware of how this will affect John and Marlena when they find out what he’s been doing.  Because he’s not thinking with the correct part of his anatomy, he won’t stop what he’s begun.  It will be a big surprise to me if he is doing this to get even with Kristen and the Dimeras.  I’d like it to be that way, but I doubt it.

whether the Catholic Church would recognize a marriage.  If you are married in another Christian church where God is called upon to bless the union and those religious rites of that faith are part of the solemnization of the marriage, then the Catholic Church recognizes the union as a valid marriage.  I would have to ask a priest if a Muslim or Jewish marriage is recognized because our beliefs differ in the basic understanding of whether Jesus Christ is one of the three persons of God or whether He was a prophet sent by God.

all he would have to do is submit to paternity testing to negate Nick as the father, right?

I suppose they could have joked about it a bit when Nick walked in and teased him about it.  It would have peaked my curiosity too as it did Sami and Hope and I wouldn’t have hesitated to mention that Nick had told me something different.  Maybe knowing all the details helped me gloss over their intense questioning.  I have to remember that it’s written as the characters not knowing and it probably should have been more of a "Gee, that’s not what Nick said" and then just going on with the conversation.

ask how far along Gabby is in her pregnancy.  I had been waiting since the news got out for someone to ask.  Maybe in a situation like this where she is not married, it might be an uncomfortable discussion; but, Hope is related to Nick and has been very supportive of him since his release from jail.   That’s just my opinion.  I do agree that there are a few very active "butt-in-skis" on this show.

Abby and her bun that her hair used to be so beautiful, full and lustrous looking.  Now if it’s not in that horrible bun, it hangs limp like Jen’s hair does…not even close to being attractive for either woman.

Nicole the bad news when they did the ultrasound.  Cameron was the doctor who delivered the stillborn baby.

they went to the special report on Sandy Hook.  I’m going to get online and see if it’s there.  There’s also 11:00 PM on Sunday night on SoapNet.

ended up.  I’m near Toledo, Ohio and so many of the parishes on the east side of town were ethnically founded and survived for many years until the younger generations moved away.  We have the same situation with parishes being just a few blocks away from each other too.  A couple have been closed over the past several years and there’s talk that more may find the same fate.  Sad…but a sign of the times.
