for me and my Steelers.  In some ways, the seasoned stars are aging and the young guns are still learning their way around, so this might not be a stellar season.  We fans have to take the good with the bad.

And those Tigers!  I fell asleep after the ninth inning fiasco and didn’t find out the score until this morning.  Always wonderful to win on Yankee turf!

in any particular sport know how you feel.  Sometimes the emotion and energy are just too much to contain and you have to let it out.  I’m a Steelers fan, as you already know, and a Detroit Tigers fan.  So…in a Tigers/Yankees series, I hope the Tigers strip their stripes!!!!!

remember happening as they came upon the struggle between Jen and Nicole.  Jen kept yelling to Nicole, "stop it" and "let me go".  I realize that Jen’s actions will be in question; but, I believe if you add her words to her actions, it will seem that Jen was just trying to get Nicole to unhand her.  Of course, this is my more logical take on what happened.  The word "logic" has no place in the writing for Days.

how Tom Bergeron was standing on the dance floor right in front of Sarah Palin while he was talking to the viewers.  In my opinion, that was just not necessary.  Sure looked staged to me.  I was so hoping that this year, we wouldn’t have to put up with the popularity issue…but I should have known better.

tossed her medical file in the trash.  It didn’t look like Billie got there in time to see her do it, but I’m sure they’ll play it out later that she did see something.  At least, I’m sure someone will stumble upon them somehow.

tossing her medical records in the trash in the park…it was Billie.  I played it back and it doesn’t look like Billie came around the corner in time, but Days will probably play it that she did see it.

Friday that just make my head spin:

    1) Wouldn’t you think that Nicole would immediately call Daniel and be hysterical about losing the baby, making him rush to the hospital to see what is going on?

    2) Maxine is so onto everything that is happening in that hospital it’s unbelievable that no one saw a stranger in the lab coat talking to Nicole?

    3) Wouldn’t there be evidence on the sonogram or ultrasound or whatever the doctor was using that would indicate that it had been used?

    4) If Nicole goes after Jennifer with a scalpal, wouldn’t it be at the scene of the crime?

I just hate when the writers do such outrageously unlikely scenarios!

in his face.  He hit the nail on the head when he told him he was just like Stefano with his lying, cheating and manipulations for his selfishness.  I was afraid that Chad was just going to stand there and let EJ have his verbal tirade and then cower like he usually does.

personnel at the hospital and another doctor assists Nicole in the delivery of her baby.  And then….after the baby dies, this doctor ends up going to South America for some kind of inter-country aid program…how convenient.  My guess is that the baby is not dead, the new doctor works for Stefano, the baby is alive and taken out of the country by the Dimeras and EJ ends up with his new son.  I don’t think Nicole will know that her baby is really alive.

treat each other with respect.  They were both gentlemen in every aspect of their offense and defense.  Romney was the more agressive of the two, but that would be expected with him being the challenger; however, having said that, Obama was a bit too laid back.  I also wanted to hear more explanation of the those horrid accusations that are being made from both camps in those incessant media ads that we can’t seem to get away from.  I don’t usually watch political debates, but I’m glad I watched this one.

with all the great talent, that it wouldn’t be so much of a popularity contest.  I had a lot of hope for that when Pam Anderson was voted off first.  This week, I wasn’t surprised about Joey; but I was that Bristol was not in the bottom two.  I totally agree that Bristol and Kirstie are the two weakest.  We all see it and the stars recognize that the bar is soooo high right out of the gate this year that the A+ game better be brought to the floor.  However, that pesky "popularity vote" is still going to rear its ugly head I’m afraid.

that not much has changed.  The one area that I think is better is that they are writing Sami as a calmer, more mature adult instead of the raving maniac that she has been for so many years.  Her conversations with Will have been enjoyable to watch.  Also hearing Will give her his opinion of how she’s handling her life and her not going off the deep end is a breath of fresh air.  Of course, now that I’ve mentioned it, she’ll probably revert to the former in the near future…although, I hope not.

and I also like the fact that he’s talking about it in a calm, mature manner…not ranting and raving like a lunatic.  I do believe these new writers have seen the need to let Sami and Lucas act like the adults they are.

was asked to take a huge pay cut…I think I read that it was like 45%.  He decided to walk away from Days.  There are all kinds of rumors about this being a temporary thing, but it’s all talk at this point.  He really is leaving.
