ParticipantI don’t think you realize how some of your comments come across. You say “what was to resent”, I feel that there was something to resent; but, because you don’t then I’m wrong and you’re right. And…you can be sure that I will think what I want just as you do. So, we agree to disagree.

ParticipantI resent your statement “that is such a typical response” as if I don’t have the right to have my opinion. Sometimes you’re a little to quick to find fault with others’ statements when they don’t agree with yours.

ParticipantKate said it and then they went to commercial and totally ignored it when the show resumed. I wanted to see Sami get all flustered and sputtering about with her reaction. Of course, the writers are so obsessed with Sami and EJ, they wouldn’t want to write anything that would detract from their love for each other.. yuck!

Participantsoaps on TV now. If Days is so great, why haven’t they been in the competition in the past at this rate? For me, the Emmy Committee missed the boat during the times when there was more competition and Days had some really great writing going on. Now…not so much. JMHO

ParticipantI just couldn’t watch all the bullying that was going on. Teachers and students were bullying each other and it just wasn’t entertainment anymore. Maybe they’ve toned it down a bit, but I couldn’t stick around watching anymore.

ParticipantIt’s pretty clear that both of us have our opinions and will defend them strongly. I appreciate being able to have a healthy exchange knowing that we respect each other’s right to those opinions.

ParticipantI read them as written and interpreted them as I understood them. Having this conversation was the only way for clarification and for that I thank you.

Participantkidnapping Sami. There was so much more to that situation than a kidnapping.

Participantyour comments at this Board particularly. I didn’t get the impression that it was other locations that you were referencing. There are a few of us on this Board who will never accept the Sami and EJ pairing; but I don’t recall any of us reacting in the manner that you described in your first post here. So, I took offense thinking as I’ve just explained. I just thought you came on quite strong to a group who didn’t deserve it. Just my opinion…as we are all entitled to one.

Participanthas the right to feel what we want regarding any character on the show. You feel your way others may feel differently. I don’t see anyone turning the tables and saying such strong words against you for your thoughts on Sami and EJ being together.

Participantfirst started. My Mom and I watched it faithfully everyday after school. I was 13 then. I wish they would show more footage from those early days, but they seem to be spending more time within the last 20 years instead.

Participantthe now-deceased writer who used to have such prolonged story lines that the viewers became totally disgusted…James R. (?).
