love to be able to back for just one day and feel that wonderfulness again! There was a mention of the principal’s office and then going home to get it from your parents too. Well, our son who is now 31, would get to the principal’s office on occasion in elementary school and he’d get hit with the double wammy because his Mom (me!) was the principal’s secretary!!! He was very glad when he went on to high school and left elementary school and his mom behind!
watched yesterday’s show and as they kept panning from Sami to Nicole during their scenes, I couldn’t help but notice the difference in their appearances. Both are very pretty with Nicole in a sort of glamorous/hollywood kind of way and Sami in a sort of girl-next-door kind of way. It just seemed so pronouned yesterday more so than I’ve ever noticed before.
finale. It would be horrendous if that happened; however, the reality is that this is not about talent only about who gets the most votes. I think it becomes a sort of coincidence that sometimes the best dancer does get the most votes. Whether viewers want to believe it or not, Bristol’s votes were originally politcally instigated. Now that the elections are over and Sarah is not on the TV everyday, they are just voting from habit and it could put her in the final two and even, heaven forbid, become the winner. This is just my honest opinion having watched all the seasons. In fact, if you watched the first season, when the actress from GH won, the fans were up in arms that John O’Herlihy was the better dancer and should have won. That was when they allowed all kinds of gymnastic moves and she was flying all over the place with her partner. The reasoning from the fans was that John, being the male partner, was not in a position to do all of that stuff, so it was seen as unfair that the female and male celebrities were judged differently. They had a dance-off between the two and John won. However, you don’t hear DWTS mention that ever that there were two winners that first season. So…it is what it is!
it was just like Mel to say, "We’re not talking about me!" I wish Chloe would have kept throwing it at her, but she backed off. Mel is and always has been a little screeching shrew. Don’t now and never have liked this character.
just like I do if I forget to record any show that I won’t be home to watch. I really appreciate the networks having them available for viewers in that format.
on screen because I dislike the character so much! I know it’s not appropriate to make personal comments about any of the actors, so I’ll just say that part of why I don’t like EJ is also because I’m not a James Scott fan.
favorites! I could do without the Maks/Brandi drama, but I’m sure that’s encouraged to keep the viewers interested. I’m also sure that Jennifer’s aches and pains are real, but they could do without the over emphasis every week. Good grief! Florence had to have had her own difficulties, but she didn’t make such a big deal like Jennifer does. Bristol is very lucky that she has such a large voting base that kept her on long enough for her to improve as much as she has. I think most of us agree that she should have been gone very early in the competition. So, it will probably be Kurt who goes home tonight; but, I hope it’s Bristol.
and see what all the hype is about. I’m not a sci-fi fan by any stretch of the imagination; but, if it’s a good story with good acting, I’ll watch. Having said that, this movie does not fall in the category for me. I watched it in two shifts due to the length. The creativity was incredible, but that’s all that kept me watching.
it didn’t get very good ratings. I recall Todd Bridges was one of the stars, but it was not fun to watch…at least for me. I figured they would never repeat it, but maybe they thought it had been enough years ago that everyone has forgotten it and it might be more successful again.
