ParticipantAt one point, we decided to view a video of one of our office presentations, so I turned on the TV to load the VCR and ABC was showing the first tower on fire. The first plane hit at about 8:45 Eastern time and we had started our meeting at 9:00. As soon as they said what had happened, my fellow worker ran from the conference room to her office to make a phone call. She was yelling to us that her cousin worked in the first tower and would be at work at this time. It took a couple of hours for her to find out from a family member that her cousin had been in the building on a lower floor when the plane hit and had been told to leave. Then, a few minutes after that, word came around to them that it was okay to go back into the building but she decided not to take that chance. She walked down the street to the docks and boarded a tugboat to get back across the the river to where she lived. It was a very edgy couple of hours that gave us a very small idea of what the families in NY were going through not knowing where their loved ones were. I cry every time I watch a show about that event.

Participantunclear as to where she was going…mental health facility or rehab facility or jail? The one thing that I don’t like is that Bo and Carly are still co-habitating. Maybe last Friday’s comment from Ciara about not wanting to live with her Daddy and Carly, but with Victor will start the demise of Bo and Carly. It can’t happen soon enough for me.

Participantenjoy all the current participants. But, I do miss a lot of the neighbors who no longer post. Several years ago, I made a list of most of the names and the cities they were from, but none of them are posting anymore unless they’ve changed their names. Every now and then, I’ll scan the list and a lot of great memories come back! So, "Howdy" to all those who no longer post!

Participantsome facility…what will happen to the children? EJ will be incapacitated due to being shot and Sami will be in prison. Who do they have as the guardian? I’m sure Stefano will do whatever he can to keep Johnny and Sydney, but what about Ali? Will Kate be able to get Ali and Will and then Stefano get Johnny and Sydney, which will keep them in the Dimera Mansion? Just wondering what everyone thinks.

Participantan interview that she hasn’t danced since "Dirty Dancing" and then it was a completely different type of dancing. She’s 50 years old now and the movie was quite awhile ago, so I don’t think there’s any advantage there either. Bristol needs to not only get out from under her Mom’s shadow, but to let the public see a completely different side of her than being Sarah’s daughter. This has to take a lot of courage on her part to put herself out there like that. Levi was a little snarky in an interview I saw recently when there were rumors of Bristol being on the show. I wanted to slap him and remind him of what he’s done recently, which is so far beyond idiocy than what Bristol is doing. I’m a Curt Warner fan and I hope he does well. I think DWTS tries to appeal to all age groups, thus the older generation being included. I’m just glad they are staying away from the comedic influence that Cloris Leachman brought. That was way over the top and was allowed to continue way too long…in my opinion.

ParticipantI automatically envisioned another Sami pregnancy. What a joke! I really didn’t think the writers were going to have them in bed so fast, but I should have known better. I watched it when it was on today instead of on my DVR tonight and I immediately reached for the remote to ff and had to laugh at myself because I couldn’t!! I’ve liked Rafe from the beginning on this show, but the writers are making him a disgustingly weak character. They kept talking how EJ forced Sami to do this or think that…what the heck does Rafe think Sami’s doing to him!?

Participantof the conversation between Sami and EJ. The way they kept leaving the scenes with Sami and her pathetically puckered lips looking like she was going to cave in and fall into EJ’s arms had me worried that this was going to be a "same old, same old". But, when she let loose about her attempt to visit Rafe only to see him with Nicole really amazed me! When she said something about having gone to Rafe hoping for him to talk her out of marrying EJ and seeing him with Nicole, she actually admitted to doing "the usual Sami thing" and ran right back to EJ rushing them into marriage. I never expected her to admit to that. The look on EJ’s face was priceless! Now we’ll see what the writers do with all of this. My hopes are not too high with their track record.

ParticipantNetwork Star competition and thought the judges were right on the money with the final three. I was rooting for Tom or Paul, but I did enjoy Aarti too. I watched her first show yesterday and was a little disturbed by all the repition she did. The camera guy needs to stop putting the camera in her face so much. It would be better to pan back a little and let us see her face was well as what she’s doing with her hands. They do the same thing with last year’s winner’s show, Melissa D’Arabian, which followed Aarti’s yesterday. I’ll have to look to see if I get the Cooking Network.

Participantjust very politely asked a question. I’ve been on Jenn’s site for over 10 years and have always shared my appreciation for what she does for us. I don’t appreciate being scolded for something I didn’t do. And yes it does add some nice color.

Participantat all. I see it as a character who has been portrayed as a good guy seeing something evil being done and trying to right it. For me, it was him having to approach the problem from a direction that he would not normally use, but needing to use. I can’t deny that part of my feeling this way is because it was Nicole and she’s done some very dirty rotten things to others and walked away.

ParticipantDNA on one of the victims? Or will EJ do that when he’s outed? Or is there another scenario?
