Participantflashbacks where they actually showed a funeral for him. I only recall seeing him on the floor after Carly "killed" him. It wouldn’t be that far-fetched to have him arrive in Salem, would it?

Participantit doesn’t happen again.

Participantused to be so full and shiny with thick, blunt ends. Now it’s that new style of long and thin with straight, uneven ends. I find it very unattractive.

Participant.

ParticipantI actually even listened to any of their dialogue to begin with. I usually ff’d through anything those two say!

Participantbeen together 43 years, 38 of them as a married couple. My birthday is January 12 and for many of those years, he thought it was the 13th! In the early years, we went out to dinner; but, as the years have gone by he’s forgotten more often than he remembers. At first I was very hurt, thinking that I just didn’t matter that much in the scheme of things. I’d clam up and be a bit aloof or cool to him until he figured out what was wrong. Then I realized that remembering that one date out of the year was something that just wasn’t programmed into his mindset. I just decided to ask a few days prior to the birthday where we were going to to eat on that day. He’d usually look at me with that "deer in the headlights look" and then the lightbulb would go on and he’d make a reminder note to himself where we planned to go. I know it’s not the most romantic way to have your loved one remember your birthday; but knowing that we are committed to each other in every other way is more important to me. I’m not saying it didn’t hurt for a number of years…it did. I just had to decide how I was going to let it affect me personally along with our overall relationship. We now joke about it with our friends and I’m always surprised to find out how many more couples have a similar situation. Now for some reason, he remembers our anniversary…go figure! I guess remembering one is better than not remembering any! I do feel your pain and hope you can find a way to handle it that’s best for you.

Participantcan’t put together a good story line for him. He’s a good actor and I always like how he gets straight to the point with Sami.

Participantcharacters who are no longer liked due to what the writers are doing to them with these disgusting story lines. He was never a favorite of mine, but at least he was watchable. Now….not so much.

Participantlooks, but couldn’t put a finger on it exactly other than the hairstyle.

Participantenter Bo’s and Hope’s home. IMO…Hope totally over-reacted with Bo’s handling of Sierra’s kidnapping by leaving him and Bo totally went off the deep end when he so quickly connected with Carly. But, that’s about par for Days anymore with nonsense story lines.

Participantthey were talking about the situation with Maddie and said something like "after all these years of living in this town and avoiding each other" and then they went on about having to deal with her now. So I think they addressed that to some degree.

Participantin her heyday, so I have to ask if the actress has always looked like that. It looked like it was difficult for her to speak with her mouth almost stretched too tight. I mean no offense, but it just didn’t look normal.

Participantit was interesting. ET had a body language expert on and she was totally anti-Jake. She said that Jake’s chopping gesture when he wanted Vienna to stop interrupting him was indications of physical violence. I think that was going a little to far; but, that’s just my personal opinion. She didn’t say anything negative about Vienna at all. She also said Jake’s tone of voice was very condescending and was like a father scolding his child.
Niecy Nash on ET totally believes Vienna having met her on DWTS when she danced with Jake on the finale. She said she could tell that Niecy was sincere with all of her emotions last night. Not sure how she can be so sure of that when she only met her once.
Personally, I think both of them are media addicts who wanted to have a few more minutes in front of a national TV audience. Jake did seem arrogant and Vienna did seem very immature. Abc benefitted from their need to be on display again.

Participantthe "teen" story line. I do believe it will soon be time for Will, Chad and the gang to be activated for a couple of months. Possibly more ff’ing to be done!
