"if someone asks, I tell them" is the appropriate way to go.  I don’t think you introduce someone and mention their disability right along with the introduction.  Their disability does not define them; although, it is a part of them, it should be up to them how, when or if they go into further discussion about it as they decide.

children was there except Addie and they mentioned her name a few times.  Not once was Tommy mentioned and I found that to be a very obvious oversight.

whole thing for the notariety that it gave her.  She got a bonus when ABC put Jake on "Dancing with the Stars" because it extended her time in the spotlight for longer than she expected.  If you recall, she even got to dance with Jake on the finale of the show.  I’m thinking that when they got back to "real life" and Jake went back to a his job as a pilot, she wasn’t liking what she was seeing as her future.  Not surprised that they broke up.

I’ve heard Allie say a couple of times something like "if I even find my true love here" when she talks to the host of "The Bachelorette" during personal discussions about how it’s going for her.  I just wonder if that’s a hint that she might not pick a bachelor.  Of course, the taping of this show has been over for several weeks and Jake just broke up with Vienna; so, I can’t see any connection there.

going to be the "smoking gun" that will exonerate Arianna.  What I’m wondering is how will they handle Hope being the criminal?  I think that is what will bring Bope back together; but, how will they keep her out of jail?  Will they say temporary insanity?  Even if they do, she’ll have to be incarcerated in a mental health facility for a period of time.  So this situation makes for some very good storylines with so many of the characters.  I wonder if the writers are up to the challenge.

I’m still as excited today as I was on my first day of retirement!  I reached the sassy age of 60 in January and as a public employee had this option.  I have a list of things I want to get done around the house and farm and I’m crossing them off as I go.  My first week, I cleaned three closets and donated a ton of clothes to charities.  I am sooooo happy for you!  All my retired friends told me that Sunday nights are the best night of the week…Monday can be whatever you want it to be!!  ENJOY!!

is what will happen without any affair.  That’s just not Maggie at all.  I really enjoyed their scenes in the last couple of days and would love to see that friendship continue to grow.  When they finally decide to get rid of Vivian (not too soon, though) then, maybe that would be the right time for Victor and Maggie.  In the meantime, Victor having someone to go to for common sense and honesty has been very enjoyable to watch!

this past weekend on a couple of sporting events, I couldn’t remember all the words to the first verse.  I had the beginning and the end, but not the those in between.

I pray for our troops who have given their lives and for those now in harm’s way.

best, in my opinion, to not go there at all.  The reasons we watch the show are not related to politics.

more relevant or making it more "real" by making certain remarks, but it’s better left unsaid.

not winning.  I mentioned here before that she’s from a town not far from us.  The friends that she mentions, Bobby May and Frankie May and Ron Rasberry are also friends of ours.  The exposure she got from Idol is immeasurable!  She wants to record her own songs and that is not on Idol’s agenda at all.   I also agree that Carrie and Kelli stayed in the genre they preferred, but I don’t know if they would have allowed Crystal that freedom because she doesn’t fit any one particular mold for Idol.   In my mind, she didn’t take the top spot because the voting airwaves are ruled by little girl teenyboppers who always seem to vote for the cute guy.  Nothing wrong with that except that it skews the voting from those of us who vote according to talent.  It would have been interesting if it had been Crystal and one of the other female contestants as the the last two standing to see how it would have ended up.  But, in the long run, she is going to be just fine and can now pick the production company that best fits her plans for her career.   I hope she explodes onto the scene like Daughtry did.
