Lee DuMond in ages! The actress was Brenda Benet and she was once married to Bill Bixby. I believe she committed suicide in real life. I remember feeling very sad about that as I thought she was a very good actress and so beautiful.

Hands down it was the worst for me. A very close second was the day they began the alien twins story with Cassie and Rex being found near a space ship! I can’t stop laughing!!!
luckeyParticipantPre-VCR’s, you had to depend on someone who was home to keep you updated on what was happening. Although, our local newspaper did a weekly summary of what happened on all the soaps, so that helped a little. Our son was born in September of 1979 and I stayed home from August of that year until the late spring of 1980. I loved being able to watch it everyday! The theme song still takes me back immediately to our son in my arms in the rocking chair after he had eaten his lunch and just before I put him down for his nap. After 30 years, it still brings back that special time in our lives!
luckeyParticipantMy feelings about EJ are the same for Bill and Jack for the same reasons. I’ve been an on-and-off watcher since the beginning of Days and the storyline being referred to about Sami raping Austin is one I didn’t see. I’m not a Sami fan to begin with; so, if I had seen that story, it would have just reinforced my dislike of that character as well.
luckeyParticipantI intensely despise the character and always will for his rape of Sami! In my book he is totally irredeemable. He’s evil…always has been and always will be. No offense meant to all who like him, but the rape itself was unforgivable and the way he set the whole thing up had me feeling actual contempt for the way it was written. As for the actor, James Scott, he portrays EJ exceptionally well. My only complaint with him is that he speaks so fast and does not enunciate his words often making it difficult to understand him. Sami and EJ together…NEVER for me.
luckeyParticipantOhio it is not illegal to tape your conversation with someone else, whether they know they are being taped or not. It’s called one-party consent meaning that only one of the persons in a two-party conversation needs to know that it is being taped…even if that one knowledgeable person is the one doing the taping. Laws do vary from state to state.

luckeyParticipantwe could be so fortunate that John Clarke would come back at least once in awhile. I guess flashbacks will be better than nothing. Oh well.
