Marlena was a big disappointment today, but I am not surprised. The writing has really stunk, and the in-your-face political/social agenda is a real turnoff.
Notwithstanding any past issues btw Marlena and Sami, you are so right about her response today. What sane person would tell a married woman to do what’s in her heart, regardless of the consequences and who might get hurt? Especially since the hurt party is your other child (Carrie IS like a real child to Marlena). Very, very amoral, humanistic response from Marlena, and not at all even maternal.
macrrParticipant"Rafe, forget about the two ugly step-sisters and keep your mind on being a friend to Nicole."
Oh my gosh!! That is the funniest thing I have read in a really long time!! And so agree with the entire post.
macrrParticipantBrady getting back with Nicole. I like Brady too much to have him hook up with her again. She REALLY did him wrong….so shallow and so heartless. Why would any man go back to her after what she did?
macrrParticipantbut ONLY if it means that Jen (or Jack) realizes that their relationship is over for good. They can be good friends, and great working partners, but nothing else. We have been down this road too many times. I do NOT want a Jack/Jen pairing anymore…….he has been given too many chances, as it.
macrrParticipantI would add that he also tells Carrie he wants to fire her but is afraid that she will make up stories about their relationship.
But you are right –justwondering– he cannot pull it off. Too bad. Abigail is crazy crazed. Do people really act like this?
macrrParticipantWhat happened?
macrrParticipant"I’ll bet if you’re born in Salem they fill out your birth certificate in pencil".
Oh my gosh, that is SO funny (and probably so true). Or maybe they use invisibale ink, or erasable pen.
macrrParticipantwith you on all aspects, Patti.
Do we know if these scenes have been shot yet? When are they set to air?
macrrParticipantThat was hysterical…And so totally accurate.
Spot-on!
macrrParticipantWhat did I miss? Or do I even want to know?
macrrParticipantbut poor Will doesn’t. Though I really am curious about this storyline, especially how and when it will end.
macrrParticipantyou are absolutely right. Either way, Will’s goose is cooked. Wonder how long this will last. Does anyone know the end game of this forced servitude?
macrrParticipantOn today’s show, Melanie and Chad both indicated they had not slept together. In fact, Chad said they had only kissed, and only did that 3 times (those are the 3 shown to us fans).
But, I have to say, it doesn’t matter how old I am, my best friend had better not date my ex, not without telling me first, and not until some time passes. I just think that is classless. To me, it’s the same as dating your sister’s ex.
I do agree with your assessment of her, though, as being childish: I think she went completely overboard with the name calling.
macrrParticipantjust go ask EJ for money? EJ is weird enough to pay Will to leave Salem. Will wouldn’t even have had to let on that he knew, just tell EJ he needs money to leave and get out of everyone’s (EJ’s) hair.
macrrParticipantI really, really did not like Will in this scenerio. I do not think the actor did that great of a job trying to pull this off. Or, the other altenative is that Will seemed so bad at playing the blackmailer because it is not in his character to stoop so low, and the actor actually did a great job portraying how bad Will is at being bad. Make sense?
