There’s a lot of psychological trauma to be mined with Sami if the writers weren’t so lazy. She had an eating disorder and major daddy issues. Her in some sort of family therapy would be interesting to me. enough with the grief sex and baby switch storylines.
Yup I’m with you. Love Ali Sweeney but Sami Brady is a straight up abusive bitch. Perhaps her messed up childhood could be explored more and she could heal but the constant hysterical theatrics are boring to me and with her mother being a shrink you would think her obvious personality disorders would have been addressed by now or boundaries set around her toxic ass.
I think they dress Kayla in those fit and flare dresses because they are flattering on her. I think Kayla is beautiful but she doesn’t dress sexy. Yeah Hope’s bra was showing. she is always a bit odd with her one different color nail etc. she’s like Kate light. Not blue steak funky.
I agree about how thin Claire was. She does seem healthier now. I wish Hope would put some weight on too.
I think it’s Clyde. I even think that Jordan may not be dead. I also think Eve might be involved but I don’t think it’s Claire.
No because it was in Marlena’s current condo and John’s face looked current. His face looked older than it used to when he had the dark mullet.
I would be fine with bringing up the past, in fact I would prefer it if you give them a meaty storyline. With Steve and when Jack lost his memory as well there was an opportunity for the writers to tell a real romantic story. Kayla or Jennifer could tell them their love story but it wouldn’t make them remember. Instead there would be some other scenario (maybe a crisis with their kids or something to do with their jobs) in which they saw their former spouse with new eyes. They would fall in love anew. Then waaaay down the line would be an opportunity for the icing on the cake when they regain their memory. The writers are too lazy for this, too lazy to dig up the old footage, to write the romance with a slow burn and an excellent payoff.
Yup. I’m with you Tflo I’m probably older (51) and I remember the heyday of Steve and Kayla. It was great but you can watch all those clips on youtube. We don’t have the budget for that now but I don’t understand why the writers can’t craft an adult storyline for these beloved characters. It’s just lazy and insulting.
Ha ha ha! The whole thing was a joke! I want a crack at writing this show! I could do way better! if this show isn’t cancelled soon I will be shocked.
