As an adopted child I would point out that the search for birth parents shouldn’t be seen as a rejection of the adoptive parents. Of course they are the true parents but for some of us there is still a curiosity. Is there someone who resembles me? Is there any helpful medical information? These are just a few of the reasons people search for bio parents. They are very rarely looking for a replacement parent. That being said, many parents involved in closed adoptions do not wish to be found. It can be very difficult and you might not get the response you expect.
I have to admit I was rather shocked that Kate seemed to have no problem with what Deimos did to Maggie. Cold. They tried to explain it away with her saying she was angry that victor enjoyed her being blackmailed by Stefano but seriously, he is the father of her son and Maggie never did anything to Kate. I was hoping she would throw her drink in his face and go back to Eduardo. Oh well Kate is a villain after all I guess I shouldn’t be so surprised.
I loved Monday’s show. Creeped me right out. The music, the lighting everything was on point to set the tone. I for one, hope Ben is all in Abby’s mind. Makes for a much more interesting and long lasting storyline.
Oh I was riveted by Possesion storyline but I mean it was pure camp. They have moved away from that to some extent. The brainwashing and sorasing continues though.
I agree the show was fun today. I love when multiple characters interact in these larger spaces. I loved when Marlena helped Steve by knocking that guy out and then he looks at her completely shocked and she just shrugs. I could have done without another brainwashing story but hopefully that will be short lived.
I understand your disbelief but to put it all in perspective I have two words for you….Gemini Twins or Swamp Girl or Demon Possesion or New Roman I mean we have been suspending disbelief for years.
I mean she doesn’t sound like Adele but I would hardly call that embarrassing. It really is just a more casual style. But you’re right everyone has their own tastes. You like Nadia’s voice and I was less than impressed with it. Variety keeps this board spicy.
Well I’m glad some of you are enjoying her. I want to but can’t seem to warm up. This is heady material that calls for more emotion than I am seeing. As for Phillip, love him! Phillip, Chad and Theo are my currant favorites along with Nicole and surprisingly Gabbi as well.
Once again the horrible acting ruined what in the hands of more skilled actors, could have been a very compelling scene. The moments with Ciera and Chase in the warehouse could have been both suspenseful and poignant. Instead they seemed more like a school play. Ciera mumbles so much I can barely understand her.
Yeah I heard that too. I just assumed they didn’t have cars since they are always waking everywhere.
I understand her not wanting to tell anyone but I was hoping Theo would tell his father. I just think the kidnapping was contrived and they could never pull it off. They just dragged him down the street from in front of the Horton home in broad daylight and no one noticed? They don’t have a car. Stupid. But much stranger things have happened in Salem.
