I am still holding out hope for Peter to return. I mean it’s not like there are a lot of roles out there right now for a aging soap vet. Maybe he wants out entirely like Renee did.
Jennifer used to be my favorite but they are ruining her character with this neediness and her lack of time to grieve Jack. I hate this storyline and her stupid hair too.
Why can’t they just have Will be the baby’s godfather? They could say that since he’s one of Gabbi’s best friend she wants him to be more involved in the baby’s life. This would keep him close with his kid without arousing attention. That would be waaaaay too easy. Sonny would not havea problem with this being Will’s kid. The problem will be when he finds out about the deception. Typical.
Years ago, during the Salem Strangler (Marlena) storyline when Kate was with Roman they kind of had them as friends for a while. It seemed forced and still does. It really was just for effect so that when Marlena was on the Island and saw John and Kate get together because they thought she and Roman were dead she would be double pissed.
I agree. This does not jive with the Will that we have known. I don’t think Sonny would hold the pregnancy against Will. He knows Will was confused and worried about coming out. I would imagine he will be way more upset about the deception. But then again, That’s probably the whole point of all this.
I’m with you Bonbon. I don’t want to start an abortion debate but the one sided nature of this on Days annoys me to no end.
I thought Carrie looked really good back then and Hope too. Hope was just on the border of being too skinny but she still looked good. John looked better with the shorter hair and not the mullet he used to sport. Great to see Shawn and a younger Caroline. I so missed Ivan. I hated the Jennifer replacement and this was by far the worst Billie in my opinion. Susan always cracked me up. The outfits were insane and I completely forgot what the excuse was for them all being dressed like that in the first place. It was a great trip down memory lane.
I don’t understand why if everyone is so Catholic in Salem that they won’t allow anyone to have an abortion then why all the gay acceptance? The Catholic religion considers homosexuality a sin and is against birth control as well. Why is only abortion the thing that they refuse to touch? Affairs and shootings and lying and all that is openly tolerated and forgiven. EJ is a freaking rapist! But if poor little teenaged Gabbi gets an abortion then no one can accept that? Lame.
From a social perspective, 5% might be the gays that are out. The actual percentage in this country is waaaay higher than that.
While I agree it’s similar I doubt Sami will see it that way. She will see respecting Gabbi’s confidence as way more important than respecting Nicole’s. Plus Rafe told Carrie about Nicole. That means he specifically kept it from Sami on purpose.
She knew EJ loved Sami and not her. Thus the whole ruse with the baby. I feel sympathy for the way she was used and abused by her father but she is an adult now and needs to realize how to handle adult relationships. I would like to see some growth and maturity from this character. I know it’s a soap but maybe we can let Kristin and Kate handle the scheming for a while and Nicole can do some soul searching and growing up instead of running from man to man.
Well losing the babies was not her fault but the relationships she lost were pretty much always her fault. Too desperate to have a man to take care of her if you ask me.
Marlena has always been a little heavier than Kate and other woman her age on the show. She does carry it well though and she dresses appropriately. Sami on the other hand had no business wearing horizontal stripes! Not flattering at all. I do think Suzanne Rogers has put on a few but that might be the illness as others have pointed out.
