I loved the way Marlena put EJ in his place! I am not a huge Marlena fan like so many others but since she has returned she has been much more fiesty and fun than I remember her being in the past.
Being adopted myself, I understand the loyalty you feel to the parents that raised you whether or not they are biological. I find Daniel’s reaction totally natural. They blindsided him at a time when he is already uncertain about his feelings. The whole Jennifer/Jack thing and now this. I feel Maggie is being unfair to him and should back off. Melanie should also tone it down, she never knew Daniel’s mother but maybe now would be a good time to ask him to tell her about the woman rather than just push Maggie on him because it’s what she wants to be true.
If the tables were turned and Madison was a man that would be considered sexual harrassment. I mean Brady isn’t an underling or anything but geez, that was extremely innappropriate for the workplace. In front of the guy’s sister no less! I felt sorry for Sami.
Did anyone notice that Bo’s story about the man who was wrongfully accused and then hanged in the town square was a bit similar to John’s situation?
I have thought from the beginning that if John did this he can just say it was due to being brainwashed. Why is it so wrong for people to believe that? It makes total sense. I don’t think it’s a question of loyalty to John, it’s just common sense in the weird Salem alternate universe.
Yes! The dig about the job was vintage old Sami. I actually gasped when she said that because it was such a nasty backslide for her. I hope this isn’t a sign of what’s to come because she is going to end up losing the best thing that ever happened to her.
Rafe actually suggested that yesterday and Austin was all "I am NOT going to stay in the house with Stefano Dimera!" Well then he should have stayed with Roman or in Maggie’s empty house or at that cottage the Dimera’s have or even the freakin Horton Cabin before he stayed with Sami who essentially raped him. How insane.
Yes I think they are from Norway. I thought about that too. I just figured if you’re going to sing the anthem you would think you would have it memorized but it happens to lots of people who have been singing it their whole lives so I guess it could just be nerves.
Kelly’s ex was not attractive at all but then again she has known him since they were kids so he’s not a Hollywood pretty boy type I guess.
Couldn’t agree more!!! No way that incident with Austin would have ever happened by accident. Puhlease! Then Carrie calls and if I was Rafe I would tell her everything right in front of Sami and her little pot clanging tantrum. Lame.
On to EJ….no way that guy would ever beat Abe!!!! Why does Lexi even care? Unless they rig the election no one is voting for a known criminal from an old Salem crime family. Add his inexperience and the fact that he willingly gave up custody of his own children and he’s unelectable, period. I know, it’s Salem blah blah blah! Lame.

Now as for Daniel, although I am a fan of Jack and Jennifer getting back together, I liked him coming over and supporting Jen with her job offer. I thought he was cute. I do agree it was pushy for him to be there in the first place. We all know who she is ending up with anyway.
The love scene between John and Marlena today was gross! All his tongue kissing and practically chewing on her neck. And Marlena’s moans of ecstasy? Sorry I was grossed out.
Was it "If you worry about what ifs you’ll miss the how wonderfuls."? Something along those lines. Not sure if that’s the exact quote.
I like Jack but I can certainly understand why many do not. His antics can be hard to stomach. He and Jen have a long and storied history together and he wasn’t always this buffoon. He was a journalist and once he raped Kayla so he was a bad guy too. Jen redeemed him and he did get to be a better character. It remains to be seen which Jack we will ultimately end up with now though.
