I get what you’re saying about the start of the relationship but I feel that over time they grew to love one another and that was what interested me.
I am with you guys! They are going to ruin Jennifer just as I suspected. I mean based on everything that has been going on the past few years it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out the writers will screw this up. I don’t like what they are doing to Jack. Can’t they just leave the door open for him to return one day? She doesn’t need a love interest and she would never send the kids off to boarding school.
This was by far the most adult conversation I have seen on Days in ages. I cannot believe I am saying this, but I am really bummed about the splitting of this pair. I really loved the idea of them as an evil supercouple. All this time Kate has just been butting into her kids lives and Stefano was busy stalking Marlena and messing with John, it was nice to finally see them both in a real and adult relationship. Oh well, they missed the mark on this one. They should stay together!
I loooved the fact that she didn’t let EJ intimidate her. Her bond with Sami is her grandchildren who are directly related to Johnny and Sydney. I hope Kate gives EJ a taste of his own attitude.
They had better not ruin Jenn! She needs to be on her own for a while. It makes no sense that she would just give up on Jack even if he is acting like a fool right now. You know they will mess it up!
The only redeeming factor in this pointless retread of a storyline is the potential fun of watching EJ get all pissed and jealous when he realizes that there is another rooster in the old DiMera hen house.
I thought the wedding was great. I loved Sami’s dress, makeup and hair and I thought Caroline looked very nice too. The vows were sweet and heartfelt. Of course it’s impossible for this union to last more than a few months if that and I would rather have her with Lucas buuuuuut… it was nice to have a bit of romance injected into Salem for a change. That being said, the continued absence of Marlena in her life it getting harder and harder to explain. No Roman nobody but Caroline. I know she said she didn’t want to tell Roman but it still stinks that he wasn’t there. I hate the character of Sami but I really liked the wedding in the forrest idea.
Sadly I think the holiday episodes have probably already been shot. I hope they thought of it before we did!
