In snow country doors open in-otherwise they get blocked by the snow, but other than that it was prwwty lame, and if paper could go under the door, noise should have!
midwifemamaParticipantgiven their past and insecurities, I think Nicole is right to ask if EJ really loves her regardless of the circumstances. They can be good for each other, but I was disappointed that during the election campaign they led each other to increase the level of dirt thrown at Abe. Maybe EJ will take her up on the offer and then she will say "OK lets stay here, together"
midwifemamaParticipantWow, I agree with you on Daniel. I have always felt he put his own wants first. As a doctor, he is so far over the line, he should lose his license because of his constant relationships with patients, very unethical. And his treatment of Chloe was cold and cruel. Given his track record, any woman should run when he puts the moves on. He is great at playing the wronged victum, when he has usually set up the situation
I have a different take on Melanie, she is young and is definitely trying to grow and make good choices, she is by far my favorite in the young girls. I loved the way she handled the Abby situation, she was loyal to her friend, but was caring AND honest when talking to Abby about he behavior.
Send Daniel on permanent break, but keep Melanie
midwifemamaParticipantIt was dumb back when Sani was 16 and Austin a little older. Abby is older then that (and I think saner than young Sami). Austin is now 20 years older than the first time- is he so dumb he will fall for the same trap TWICE?
midwifemamaParticipantI love them, Maggie is so good for Victor and he knows it and cherishes her. It would be very foolish for the writers to break them up. They are the calm center the show has needed since Tom and Alice. Alice held that space for a long time on her own, but it is great to see a solid couple again
midwifemamaParticipantNo, I am suspicious. She always has a plan and that is never good, especially where Sami is concerned.
midwifemamaParticipantShe can make up her own mind. I think the writers are making a big mistake if they don’t let Jack grow. Underneath his goofiness he has always worked for his family- Remember when Abby had Leukemia and Jack felt guilty that his company caused it? He felt so guilty he left Jennifer and turned heaven and earth to correct the situation and to get a cure for Abby. I have never much liked Daniel and all his other women have been wounded birds he could save and he would be the adult to care for them, but Jennifer is no wounded bird. She was grieving for the loss of her marriage but she is much stronger than any other woman he has been with and will not tolerate Daniel taking charge for long. She has always been the adult in the marriage to Jack.
midwifemamaParticipantAfter over 30 years of Days I finally took the show off my DVR last winter, and I only watched 1-2 episodes a month. But now I am back to recording every episode and it is the first thing I watch. The turn around has been incredible, it is now better than it has ever been!
midwifemamaParticipantIt repeats again at midnight on my cable, that is when I am taping it- not much competition then!
midwifemamaParticipantShe would have her license suspended by the state with ordered rehab for her behavior- then there would be hearings and if the board agreed you had done appropriate rehab you would get a provisional license with restrictions (like where you could work and your access to drugs) and supervision. The boards are generally pretty careful, but do allow forgiveness after lots of work. But in the real world there would be criminal charges and perhaps jail time. And firing! The hospitals now fire anybody who LOOKS at a medical record if they do not have a right to, let along falsely changing the record- That would call for immediate police involvement. Lots of Drama there, that would make a good story. I once saw a nurse arrested for practicing medicine without a license- (she was doing Liposucton in her doctor-boyfriends office) and she did jail time and did NOT get her license back
midwifemamaParticipantI noticed today she is still listed as writer, so maybe change is still coming. I had pretty much tuned out this winter. After 30 years, I even took it off my DVR schedule. But the scenes with Maggie and Victor have drawn me in and the show is back in my DVR line up. I am also enjoying Chad and Sonny as they deal with their legacies. Kate is way over the top, I fast forward through her. And Taylor- just GO. I do like Melanie, she does go off on people, but she means well and considers what is said to her, I think she is pretty appropriate for her age, thinks she knows it all, but she has a good heart which not the case with either Kate and Taylor!
midwifemamaParticipantLook how he treated his son, Benji. He had him murdered and his body left in the alley, or was it a dumpster, so he could have his organs. And he was no great shakes toward Tony, exiling and imprisoning him for years. It is all about Stefano and the only "family’ that matters to him are those who unquestionly toe his line.
midwifemamaParticipantI have pretty much stopped watching since last summer after 40 years of watching, but I tuned in to see this episode and was very disappointed; no ornaments, only Doug. Julie, Jennifer and Ciarra and no reading of the Christmas story on the Pediatric Ward. Just Pathetic! And the preview gave no hint of a Christmas tradition.
midwifemamaParticipantWayne Northrup and Josh taylor played Chris Kosichek. I don’t think he became Roman until about 10 years ago
midwifemamaParticipantWho cares about the on and off and on and off, etc wedding of Chloe and Daniet rght now or Adriana in jail, etc
