midwifemamaParticipant
When she was taken from Nancy as an infant and placed for adoption. Often adopted kids have strong opinions on giving up their own kids for adoption.
midwifemamaParticipantShe doesn’t know she is pregnant with Daniel’s baby! LOL
midwifemamaParticipantIt makes me and my family seem so normal and reasonable, LOL
midwifemamaParticipantI thought the same thing, then later she had it back on. This makes no sense! I had expected that she would wear the mask ans they would explain that the "new" Abby had plastic surgery, but no, she does look perfectly fine.
midwifemamaParticipantThank you!
midwifemamaParticipantWho is named after a root vegetable. Tate isn’t a root veg. I am confused.
midwifemamaParticipantHe just opens up a shares with her, but it takes a while.
midwifemamaParticipantFelt like the rupture of an abcess, and now she is starting along process of recovery, I liked that it was the whole show, felt real to me, she was hiding and denying her disease so well, then she couldnt do it anymore and it all burst forth. And now the work starts.
midwifemamaParticipantIt is laughable, but then we don’t watch Days for realism, There are Cable news channels for that. I love the utter lack of realitly and the consistent bad life choices, they take me away from the everyday craziness of the world for a while. I often look at some of my life choices and remind myself that I do make better choices than most of the folks on Days, (with the glaring exception of the orange drapes I once hung in my living room that went straight into the trash after I was snowbound for days). At least I never sold my baby sister on the black market!
midwifemamaParticipantShe was indeed in a tough place and it was a tough choice, but she made it. As an adoptive mother, I am very greatful that my daughters birth mothers made that choice. I cannot see how anyone could condemn Maggie for making that choice, and as for lying about it, Maggie has felt shame about an out of wedlock baby because in that era, attitudes were different (going by the age Summer should be, not the age she is cast). Maggie is older than me by a couple of years, but until the 70s adopton was almost often done with agreat deal of secrecy. So I cannot see how this destroys Maggie
midwifemamaParticipantI was sucked right in and thought it was a real threat from Ben. Great job all around, acting, writting, photography and directing!
midwifemamaParticipantI worked in a big city pediatric ER in the late 60’s to the mid 80’s. The police were very rough and skeptical of even young victims into the mid 70’s. Then a group of women started doing workshops for the police. One policeman made the mistake of saying to a workshop leader "Hey, don’t women really fantasize about being raped? It couldn’t happen if they didn’t want it" They were standing at the catering table, and the woman grabbed a knife and brought it against his neck and said "F*** me, Mister" there was a pause and she said "were you thinking about anything but your own survival? Did you feel any desire?" We quickly saw an enormous change in police attitudes and treatment of rape victims.
midwifemamaParticipanta message from the Universe or a great offer to replace your windows!
midwifemamaParticipantLOL!
midwifemamaParticipantpushing them together, just weeks after her father’s death and the whole Aidan thing. I just don’t get that either! I would think both Hope and Ciara would not be up for rushing Hope into a new relationship after all that trauma.
