I follow both actors on Twitter and they are once again dating as of since the daytime Emmy’s. They had broken up for a few months prior. *Spoiler Alert * One of them posted a picture of Chad & Melanie embracing in scenes to come…
Ahhhh you’re right, my brain went far too realistic with that one. No one dies when they get shot in soapland! Only when they get pushed to the ground to swim in a teaspoon of blood a la Rafe2.

I can’t help but be disappointed if this is true. Maggie is so loved, it will just make for so much sadness. What will we do without our Maggie Horton??
I saw Lisa Rinna’s tweets about the new Hollywood Mom’s Club and she is PO’d!! She talked about how Ali went behind her back and sold the show and that she WILL NOT be a part of it. Sure makes you wonder what went on there! Allsion did not comment on her Twitter page. I have no idea what Ali is like as a person or a mother, but I do hope she continues her role as Sami (with slightly more maturity in the writing!).
I wholeheartedly agree. Ali Sweeney is capable of much more than what has been written for her. Her hot-headedness has just become boring and mundane AND annoying. My hopes are high for the new writing for her so I HOPE I am not disappointed! I also love Sami & Rafe so puh-lease, new writers, give them super couple status already!!!
Only an actor as talented and gorgeous as James Scott could pull off committing heinous crimes and then turn around and have us all feeling sorry for him! Because I’m right there with you.
I can’t help but want these two together as well. They play off of each other so brilliantly and whether they’re fighting or making love, there are sparks flying everywhere. Such great actors those two. I would LOVE to see them get back together and come up with a storyline for Nicole to have her own baby…whether it’s with EJ, by adoption, surrogacy, whatever. If they don’t end up reuniting, I would also love to see Nicole go through the process of adoption or surrogacy herself. I admit this could be difficult given her, shall we call it "sordid", past lol, but it is soapland so come on!
I found it quite intriguing in today’s episode (I think I’m a day ahead of most people so **SPOILER ALERT**) to see EJ admit that he’s not what’s good for his kids and give up custody to Sami. This sad, neverending tug-o-war over the kids needs to stop. It’s just not fun to watch anymore. There has to be other sl’s out there! I would love to see another side to EJ, see his focus go elsewhere for a bit. His and Ari Zucker’s scenes today were brilliant, they play so beautifully off of each other that I can’t help but hope that it’s not the end for them.
Would be very refreshing to see Kate do something else!! Even evil people have moments of reprieve from their sadistic scheming…at least they should!
Oh sorry now I get what you mean. I think you’re right, it seems like maybe this whole thing was inserted at a later date! Especially since there were spoilers about Stefano having a hired gun killing Fake Rafe in jail, as opposed to how it actually ended up happening.
I was referring to the one-night-stand of Fake Rafe’s. She showed up at the loft but Rafe didn’t tell Sami about it until later on when Bo & Hope were around.
Plus when a girl’s husband gets comments along the lines of "Wow, you got married?!" or "Wow, you had kids?!" a girl’s got to be kind of proud that she was the one to tame the stallion, no?? Sami is his one and only! Hey, an afterthought though…is that she was maybe feeling particularly insecure because wasn’t it revealed that Rafe didn’t tell her about that bimbo of Fake Rafe’s who showed up? Ok Rafe, smarten up and get back to your usual SuperMan/Husband/Father self!
Hmm it’s interesting to see the different perspectives on this now. I’ve have been in Sami’s shoes and for me, I just see Rafe as this upstanding husband and father to his step-children so I didn’t feel his interaction with Sophia as inconsiderate or malicious. Sophia was more obnoxious on the other hand. She was great in her small role. I’ve been in situations where women prey on your insecurities, exactly as she was, but these types of women are often playing a game to pick away at you. As for having a husband that is bi-lingual, that is something that will come with the territory, and as long as you are married to someone who is considerate in keeping you in the loop when necessary (apart from times when they can get carried away lol), it shouldn’t be something that makes you angry. The key lies in the fact that Sami (like I) has a wonderful husband
It seemed as if the character of Sophia was trying to make it seem like she knew Rafe better than his own wife. Luckily, our dear Rafe & Sami made it through ok I suppose the lack of empathy there came from my having an Eastern European husband with several (and yes some gorgeous) Eastern European friends! I personally don’t take offence to their slipping into their native tongue, just because I understand it is what comes most natural to them. I also feel quite confident that my husband is not trashing me lol. I suppose their recent situation would put pressure on the relationship as well though. Love love love Rafe as a husband, father and member of the Brady family. I know there are people that find their relationship boring but I love it!
I found it hard to stomach Sami’s jealousy towards Sofia and then the jealous fit Sami through afterward. It was like being in the room with another couple that is bickering, leaving the innocent bystander to feel that awkward annoyance. Why was that supposed to be entertainment??? Nonetheless, still loving the show, just happened to be a relatively uneventful day!
