When Eve just strolled in to take Laura’s file, no one was in the outer office. In years past, I can recall a receptionist announcing calls or visitors, so they must of moved Marlena’s office when she stopped keeping regular office hours. Not to lock the office, even when she is in it, seems strange. Anyone can stroll in a browse through patient files. This doesn’t make sense, but it is a soap after all, nothing has to make sense or have continuity.
My thought is it is the way to get everyone back to Salem for the 50th. Seems like all of the Bradys are supposed to be reappearing soon and this is a really good reason. Just hope it is not for Caroline’s funeral.
After he overheard Theresa’s conversation with Ann, what now? Seems like he is willing to melt and let her work her spell on him. Oh groan. Why couldn’t he have overheard other conversations. Guess we just have to wait to see how it all plays out. Any bets on how long before she moves in and how long before he make a move on her?
I could almost remember the scenes and could definitely hear their voices.
Maybe they should go back and rerun all the episodes they have, that are still available. They were much better stories in those days.
It makes me sad to know so many of these characters are no longer with us, but neither is the character of the show. IMHOFor years Sami had the same childish behavior, she never grew up. I always felt she should have been allowed to grow into a superior match for Kate, sort of a Stephano or Victor, if you will. But no, she was always a teenager, even with children. She finally grew up a little before she left for California.
Same ins true for Nicole. She will always be her worst enemy. The writer’s need her to do the same thing, like her life is on a loop, just with different partners. Boring.
Why can’t people change? No one ever really sees the err of their ways, thus the same old story line, over and over again.
At least we haven’t had a “who’s the daddy” SL recently, here’s hoping we won’t, ever again.
All of the characters need flaws, who doesn’t have them, but must they have to lead the same life for an eternity?Do y’all remember how John always got that one raised eyebrow, every time he was thinking? Well, Jordan is always making that look, like she is holding back tears. It drives me crazy.
And I think the reason they broke her and Rafe apart, is so she would be available for a story line with Chad, making Abby jealous. Oh groan.Why wouldn’t they have to confirm that Abigail is the “other woman”, especially since they asked Sami to read it. Wouldn’t they talk to Abigail too? Oh, I forgot, this is Salem, a separate universe,
where they don’t live by the same rules.I record the program everyday, but never watch. Would rather read about it here to see what is happening in Salem. I got so frustrated with some of the storyline, that I couldn’t enjoy the parts I cared about. Once I quit it is hard to go back, but I haven’t given it up completely. I couldn’t live without my daily dose of Salem Place and your wonderful insights and witty comments. So you all, please keep up the good work, the DOL writers have let me down.
I much prefer to know what is going to happen, rather than waiting for an eternity to find out. Too bad they don’t play into that, since they drag out a story with repetition. I don’t have time to watch it happen in slow mo. Would think more folks would watch if things moved at a faster pace. This is just my opinion
I keep checking here to see when it is safe to watch again. I’m so tired of the same old, same old with all the players. However, I doubt there will be anything new to care about when all of these boring SL’s are resolved, if that ever happens. I too wish there would be some new blood and excitement, instead of the tiring rehash.
It would seem to me, this means, if Kristin and Brady adopt a baby, they got married. Guess John’s plan failed.
Because these episodes were recorded months ago, our complaints fall on deaf ears about this dreadful story line and I wonder if anyone in the writing department takes heed on the mention of the ff button.
I couldn’t believe I actually watched Kristin yesterday, she was the only time I stopped ffing through this dreadful mess.
Right now, I appreciate spoilers, armed with that information, I know what to expect and can be prepared not to watch.
