MKParticipant
I thought he was supposed to be on screen until the end of the year. If that’s the case, he probably stopped filming in August or so.
MKParticipantThat was a cute scene with Harold and Johnny. Nice to see Harold doing something other than opening a door. Johnny is just so freaking adorable!!!
MKParticipantI fast forwarded practically every scene that had Theresa in it. Are we supposed to care? Not me!
MKParticipantI agree with everything you said, lynnekaren. Those pants were not flattering at all on Sami. Just looked weird on her. And you’re right, with a longer top, it would have been better.
MKParticipantI did like the dress but it’s too tight for work. But I do really like the way Jennifer has been dressing the last few months. Though it’s hard to believe they live in the Midwest with all the no-sleeve dresses she wears. Pretty unrealistic. Even here in Boston, it’s getting cold though it was in the 60’s yesterday, but now it’s back down to 40. They should at least make some attempt to show it’s getting colder outside.
MKParticipantI was right. Bill was overscored yet again. Poor Leah and Tony; they deserved to be there instead of Bill. It’s funny because Carrie Ann said she was going to be extra picky but it was obvious, especially in Bill’s first dance, that she wasn’t with him. I didn’t like Maks as a judge. At one point, he even said something like "who cares about the technical things"–words to that effect. So which is it? Judge some on dance ability and technicality or judge others based on just entertainment factor. I guess the show doesn’t know what it supposed to be. It’s too inconsistent in the judging. If somebody signs up for the show, regardless of dance ability or past experience, they should be judged like everybody else.
I still enjoy watching Amber and Corbin (and even Jack has grown on me a lot!) and I hope Corbin wins. Karina is my favorite pro as well. I love her choreography and her enthusiasm. Though Bill probably has a great shot at winning the whole enchilada. Then the show would be completely and totally laughable (more than it is now) and would prove beyond any doubt that it’s not about dance at all. Future contestants would just have to show up and be cute and funny.
That’s my little rant for the day!
MKParticipantWell, another night of "Dancing" tonight. Can’t wait to see how the judges judge Bill tonight after last week’s fiasco of an elimination. I’m sure they realize that their inflated scores were part of the reason he’s still here and Elizabeth is not (and I’m not even a fan of hers). He is not improving week to week, has no dance ability, and he just needs to leave.
We’ll see if the judges get tough on him or still say things like "great entertainment" and "well done" so here’s your 7’s! Then to Karina and Corbin say "I think you were a centimeter out of step with your parter–what happened there?" LOL!
MKParticipantSo sorry about your pain, Patti, and all you have to go through, but hopefully watching Days and reading all our crazy comments will help you get through it, even if just a little!
MKParticipantCouple more things:
I loved Leah and Tony’s routine (and the other guy) doing the impersonation of the judges. That was hysterical! and so much fun!
I’m rooting for Corbin and Karina. Love their dancing and I usually love her choreography. Amber’s really good, too.
MKParticipantMarlena has been stomped on by so many. And you know how I feel about the ‘let’s blame Marlena’ $hit since I expressed my feelings in another thread about this. How unreal. And yes, I too can understand Eric initially being upset when he didn’t know what was going on but now he knows that Marlena didn’t know about the video. I think he’ll calm down eventually and turn to Marlena for help in dealing with all of his physical and mental anguish.
MKParticipantAt the end of yesterday’s show, Brady said "You’ve finally won, Marlena; you’ve won" or something close to that. That was demented and twisted. He sounded just like Kristen! So I guess Brady would have liked to have never found out that Kristen drugged and raped his step brother?? There is something seriously wrong with Brady.
MKParticipantToo bad Bill didn’t bow out gracefully but I’m sure that wouldn’t have been allowed. I know it’s not his fault he’s still in but he should have done the right thing. I know some people like him because he’s entertaining and they thought he was improving week to week but I didn’t see any improvement. He just doesn’t have what it takes. He has no rhythm or natural dance ability so no matter how many lessons he has, he just won’t do any better. And, why did he and his partner look upset when they got 7’s? They should have been ecstatic ’cause they sure didn’t deserve 7’s; maybe 5’s.
I have many more comments but for now, I’ll leave it at that.
MKParticipantI laugh a lot, too during that show. Sometimes I’ll watch it twice because there are so many good lines I either want to hear again or may have missed the first time. I hope this show sticks around a while. I heard they’re airing an episode of this show right after the Super Bowl so hopefully it will pick up an even greater audience.
MKParticipantI have been diagnosed with OCD and have tons of germ issues and I don’t find that gross at all. What I would find gross is somebody touching a door handle and then touching my ice.
MKParticipantI agree, Bonbon. The only new show that I really like is Brooklyn Nine Nine. It is a half hour comedy but I think it’s silly in a smart way; very well written. I tried watching the other comedies (Dads, The Millers, the Crazy Ones) but I don’t find them funny at all.
As for the dramas, I watched Once Upon a Time in Wonderland a couple times. It’s not bad; but I just didn’t get into it. I loved Sleepy Hollow at first and now it’s just okay. Same with Dracula. Loved the first episode and not so much the second. I’ll still keep watching both as sometimes you have to give a show a little time to grow on you.
I’ve been watching a lot of PBS, especially on Sunday nights.
