Patti, I have been watching some of this season but I do a lot of TV hopping while it’s on so I don’t pay close attention to what is going on (and I watch the Middle at 8:00). Now I got a different take on things. From what I’ve seen, Shamar comes across as one angry dude. At tribal, people were saying that Shamar lies and that he is angry a lot. And I know that they always show him laying around at camp so I take it that he doesn’t do much but I could be way off base. Again, I don’t see the whole thing so I don’t know exactly what’s going on. Why is Shamar so mad at Reynold?
Well said, maryanne. But in Chloe’s case, I think she thinks she can make him fall in love with her again. She figures he was in love with her once so it can definitely happen again. She is so delusional if she thinks all these tricks will work. She’s pathetic.
I’m interested in seeing Lisa Vanderpump of the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Normally I don’t care to see "reality" stars on this show but I really like Lisa. She is intelligent, classy, and owns several restaurants. I think she will be a nice addition to the show.

This is how I feel about Sami. Whether she’s acting good or bad, I just don’t like her way/acting/personality/whatever you want to call it. When she is acting rationally and not stomping around, I like her a little better, but I just don’t care for her either way.
I have been watching The Following with Kevin Bacon. It is pretty creepy and disturbing but I love it.
I watched one episode of The Americans thinking I would really like it but I just didn’t. Maybe I should have given it a chance and see if it grew on me but I am already watching so many shows. I like the actress Keri Russell and what a departure from her role on Felicity.
Still watching Project Runway, but not loving it as much as usual. Don’t much care for the team concept this season.
Still watching some “reality” shows such as Dance Moms which is even more ridiculous than ever but I still love watching it.
Blue Bloods is great as is The Middle.
Until the Thorn Birds, I had never heard of Richard Chamberlain. I was 14 when it first came on TV and that’s when I fell in love with Father Ralph. None of my friends even knew who he was or even watched the Thorn Birds for that matter. I guess I was an unusual 14 year old.
A couple weeks ago, PBS aired a one-hour show titled "Miniseries" as part of their "Pioneers of Television" series. It featured "Roots", "Rich Man, Poor Man" and the "Thorn Birds." Richard Chamberlain and Rachel Ward were discussing the show. At one point, he was discussing the scene where he was naked, drying himself off with a towel, on Mary Carson’s porch. In the scene, Barbara Stanwyck was carassing Father Ralph’s chest and I guess she flubbed her line and she supposedly never ever flubbed any lines she was delivering. To that, Chamberlain said she said "It’s been a very long time since I’ve been next to a naked man." I would love to see that out take. So Richard was really naked in that scene. What I would have given to be the one carassing that naked body, well, maybe not as a fourteen year old. LOL!!
I don’t want Eric to leave the priesthood! I hope this doesn’t happen as he is too good in this role. I have to admit, Patti, that I have a tiny bit of a "Father DeBricassart" crush on Eric as a priest. Am I bad? LOL
I was pretty taken aback by Jennifer’s request. I know she’s had to deal with so much from Chloe but I don’t see any way this is going to be possible. I know Daniel has said that he would not let Chloe interfere with his and Jen’s relationship and that he can handle Chloe, but Jen knows that this will be never-ending with Chloe. I think Jen really wanted to hear more assurances from Daniel but I guess no matter what he says or does, Chloe will still be interfering in their lives. Like you say, Patti, maybe Jen will just walk away from all this.
Is Chloe going to be moving back into the mansion? When Maggie told Dan yesterday that they were making all sorts of changes like changing dry cleaners LOL, I assumed Chloe would move back to the mansion. Daniel should insist on this. Chloe is so freaking annoying and so obvious! Only Dufus Daniel can’t fully see it.
You made me really laugh, Bonbon, over the last line you wrote! It is not possible that Sami will go beyond ballistic; it is entirely PROBABLE that she will. I’m just picturing her now! LOL
I was one of the few who posted last week that I was not bothered by Rafe and Kate. It adds something different to the show, something we’d never expect. I thought it would bother me but it didn’t at all. I actually enjoyed it much to my surprise!
And I agree with you about Daniel/Chelsea. I’m all for people getting together of different ages but that one was icky. She looked like jail bait and he looked like a perv.
