Yes, Patti.  I too thought it was extremely weird.  I bet it was a re-write since it was so out of place and out of left field.  Didn’t seem right.

Agree, bonbon.  I loved when Gaby told Sami a couple times that she should stop attacking her without knowing all the facts and that Sami should talk to Will first to find out what’s going on before throwing her tirades.  Sami is still such a psycho.  Just when I start liking her a little better, she reverts back to her childish, outlandish ways with her ridiculous outbursts.  It made me so mad watching her and her fit of rage.  Even when Gaby said to Sami that they are not trying to keep Sami from her grandchild, she still got in Gabi’s face by telling her that she won’t keep her from seeing her grandchild.  What da heck?

Oh yes, I’m watching!  I’ve been watching since the very first episode of Season 1.  I am absolutely obsessed with it!  I’ve said this before on here, that this is by far the best thing on TV, in my opinion.  Not a day goes by during the season that I don’t mention "Downton Abbey".  I own the first two seasons on DVD and after the new Sunday episodes, I watch the episode at least two more times during the week on the different PBS stations we have in Boston.  Not only is watching again just as enjoyable, but I pick up new things I missed since there is always so much going on.  I know what’s going to happen as well at the end of this season.  Wish it would be different!

In fact, my birthday was earlier this month and my sister (who is also obsessed with it) had a "Downton Abbey" themed birthday party for me.  It was awesome.  She decorated her dining room table in a beautiful linen tablecloth, had lots of flowers, candelabras, china, and tea cups.  And she made cucumber sandwiches!  My niece dressed up in a period costume.  We are going to have another Downton party soon.  Can you tell I love Downton?  I may need to attend "Downton Anonymous" soon .  LOL.

And since my name is Mary, they called me Lady Mary!!

I agree, casey.  When Eric told Nicole she could go to jail for what she did, I thought no way.  Instead, I think Kristen will talk Brady out of not pressing charges since she will want Nicole around so that she can make her life miserable and take absolute pleasure in it.

I can barely watch Brady anymore.  In every scene, he’s walking around angry all the time, defending Kristen at every turn and fighting with practically everybody.  He has a huge chip on his shoulder and it’s not fun to watch, at least for me.

Patti, do you know when Drake will be back?  I hope not too long.

And I agree, there definitely has to be more do this or else this was one of them most ridiculous reasons a character has ever left town.

I just watched it on my DVR and I loved every minute of it.  I too liked Will talking to Sami and tying in his own childhood.  His explanation of his wanting his child to have two parents was really good and he was being so open and honest.  It was funny whe Sami first walked into the apartment and Will said "don’t you ever work"? That was awesome!

I loved all the conversations today.  I thought the writing was excellent.  Did not like John at all.  He was acting like a jerk and I could not stand watching him treat Marlena like that.  Si I guess that means he will be gone for a while.

You’re right, it is way over the top.  Makes me wonder (and I have been for a while) if some of this is scripted.  I don’t know if you’re watching this new season, bonbon, but the mothers staged a walk out for a week or so and then came back.  Of course they knew they were going to go back but I guess it makes for some drama.  If Abby is so bad, they should just leave despite what their kids want.  The mothers are camera hounds–they like the publicity too much of being on a show and I’m sure the money is good too.  That Kristi has the biggest mouth, is always complaining about how unfair Abby is, and it’s not healthy at all with all the yelling in front of the kids.  Yet she keeps going there.  Grab your kid and leave!!!!!!

Love the duck’s bill comment!  I can’t believe I didn’t even notice her lips.  I did notice that she had on less eye makeup than usual.

Taylor has the most ridiculous lips!  I started watching that show (even though I said I never would) last season.  I mostly turn in to see all the superficial women and their superficial lives.  Every single one of them has had plastic surgery.  On some it’s not as outrageous as others.  I try to keep my, what I call, "bottom of the barrel TV show watching" or "crap tv" to one or two shows.  My two are Real Housewives (ya, like that title isn’t a joke since there’s nothing real about most of these women!) and Dance Moms.  I guess I’m getting off track here from Kate’s lips.

I can definitely see somebody loving two people at the same time but how can she love EJ?  It doesn’t make any sense to me.  Maybe if it was anybody else I would understand.  But her rapist EJ?  Not to mention all of the other terrible things he’s done to her and her family.  In her mind, I guess if she thinks he’s changed, it makes up for all the bad things he’s done.  So ludicrous and not believable to me at all.  I, too, think she will go with EJ, for now, but I don’t think it will be for long.  At some point, she’ll be panting for Rafe again.

Which brings me to an important question:  Wouldn’t Sami loving EJ be a turn-off for Rafe?  How could he love/respect the woman who wants to be with the man who orchestrated Rafe’s kidnapping and switching him with fauxRafe?  Something to think about.

I know.  She is so incredibly cute and the wardrobe and hair make her look so much older and dowdy.  Usually when I say somebody doesn’t dress age appropriately, I mean they are dressing too young.  But in her case, she dresses too old and she needs some style!  She needs a softer hairdo; the long straight hair looks too severe for her face.  I love it when her hair is curlier or feathered back a little.

I feel the EXACT same way, mommytutu.  It’s ridiculous.  She’s like a swinging door.  Haven’t we already done this before over and over again?  I thought she would grow out of this by now and grow up.  She’s all into the one who happens to be there for her at the moment.

I’ve never hated Sami and have always liked her until recent years.  I’ve actually just been thinking about why I don’t like Sami as much as the other female characters and I don’t think it’s so much as what she does or has done, but more the way she acts.  The flying off the handle at every little thing and stomping around a lot is a real turn off.  I’ve started liking her more again, but after yesterday’s yelling and screaming, I am turned off again.  Again, I don’t think it’s so much what she says or does, it’s more her impulsive personality and hot-headedness.
