Thanks Patti.  I appreciate that!  I see your point on politics.  It can upset people.  I am neither Republican or Democrat.  I don’t vote party– I vote issues and even then, they just say what they want to get our vote.  I don’t put much stock in pols. as I really don’t think they care or have our best interest at heart.  And I could have said a lot more in my few past political posts (and I’ve never written anything terrible at all) about certain politicians, but I refrain out of respect for others opinions.  With that said, thanks for your response and I really do love reading your Days’ posts!

Wow Patti.  We get it that you like Obama.  Some of us have a different opinion of him.  Just respect that.  Every once in a while you get so pissy at others on the board when they don’t agree with you.  I love reading your posts! but not when you bash others on political things.  People are allowed to voice their opinions on things even if they disagree with you, but it’s not cool to bash others for their views.  And for the record, I voted for Romney and I still wouldn’t watch the inauguration if he were elected but if I wanted to, that would be perfectly okay.  You just can’t help who you like.

I understand the stations carrying the inauguration.  But, when Days gets interrupted 4 days in a week for non-emergency things, I get mad.  Obama happened to do it on my station last week but I would have been equally mad if it was Romney or anybody else or if it was for any other non-urgent news.

He gave me chills as well.  The way he said it and the way he looked at Chad was scary.  I’ve been thinking for a while that Nick is kind of creepy this time around.  I wonder if it has something to do with his prison time or if the real him is just coming out?

And at least in Will’s situation, he knows about his baby.  Gabi didn’t lie to him.   In Lucas’ situation, he didn’t know the baby was his for a long time.  Sami just flat out lied to him.  Big difference and there Sami was screaming at Gabi, not willing to listen.

Agree about Sami, justwondering.  She never let facts get in her way of a good rant!  It would be such a treat to have Sami actually think first before she spoke (even if she tries it once, who knows, she may like it!).   The action was great today.  I enjoyed the show immensely.

You’re right that news is news but if the stations started interrupting shows for news, then there would never be anything on, only news.  There is always news and unless it is something urgent or something we need to know right then, then they shouldn’t be interrupting people’s entertainment time.  They can wait until the actual news or have people read it on the internet or in a newspaper.  JMO.

I SO agree with you, mommytutu!  I was starting to like Sami again with the whole John/Marlena/Kristen storyline.  But watching her yesterday was just painful.  Same ole’ Sami not wanting to listen to anybody.  Just ranting like a lunatic.

I was going to say the same thing about Sami’S hair. I too think she should cut it shorter.  It was so flattering on her.  Her dress looked great too.  Very classy. She looks so good whe she is not wearing the super tight, short spandex dresses that make her look cheap. Lately she has been dressing very well.

I just came on here to complain about all the presidential interruptions this week during Days.  I do not know about the rest of you, but this is the 3rd or 4th time this week in Boston!!!!!!  This is ridiculous as it could have easily waited until the news. In fact, we have a noon time local news. Why not go on tv then?  Always 1:00.  Wonder why….

I couldn’t agree more, Patti, with everything you said!  I too love Eric as a priest.  I don’t think many young actors could truly pull it off and be believable, but Eric certainly has.  He doesn’t even have to try hard; it just seems to come naturally to him.  I really hope they keep him as a priest and not get involved with anybody.

Nicole was certainly aggravating yesterday, trying to find out what was bothering Eric.  How many times did he have to tell her to just but out?  Then she steams off in a huff when it was none of her business.  Instead, she could have been supportive and tell him she understands he can’t tell her and that she is there for him if he needs to talk.  She reminded me of Jennifer when Jennifer kept hounding Daniel.  You’re right that Nicole should insert herself into Chloe’s or Brady’s messes if she really needs to help somebody.

Bonbon, you made me laugh!  How true!

Speaking of bad, I was laughing yesterday when Daniel was talking to Jennifer on the bed in her hospital room.  Their hair looked so bad!  Jennifer’s was way too flat ironed and put in various barrets and the color was weird.  Daniel’s hair is usually kind of messy but yesterday it was totally flat on top.  It just looked like there was a hard rain that rained only on their two heads.  Bizarre!  But that was the highlight of the show for me.  It gave me a laugh.

I deleted the episode after watching about two minutes of it.  I’m just so sick of this Dan/Nicole/Jen storyline.  I can’t stand to watch it.  Watching Jen last week go to the cabin feeling very sick and needing to explain once again was painful.  I just kept thinking that if Jen has the flu or something else that is contagious (which was thought at the time), why go to the cabin and infect Daniel!  Just to "explain" herself?! Stupid, ludicrous, and any other word synonymous with stupid fits this storyline perfectly.

Dan needs to go to a remote tropical island somewhere to get away from these two and his mother.  But knowing Jen and Nicole, they’d find him even in the middle of nowhere.

I so agree, Patti, with everything you said.  I am not only tired of the same old dialog, but am extremely tired at the whole storyline.  I don’t like it one bit.  Will should have told Sonny and I’m sure Sonny would have been very supportive.  I think it’s Nick AND Gabby who are being real a$$es.  I’m so sick of both of them.  I was beginning to really like Gabbi and I always liked Nick but they are acting selfish putting Will in that predicament.  And Nick is acting possessive.  I’m liking him less and less.

I feel so sorry for Will as he is the one who is going to get hurt by all this.  I know, he made the decision to go along with all this.  But he is going to suffer seeing his kid everyday around Salem and that will hurt Will big time.  And he’s going to agonize over lying to Sonny and his whole family.  If they gave up the kid for adoption, that’s one thing, but Will is going to see his child a lot in Salem and that’s going to eat him up.  I guess when Adrienne initally told Sonny that she knew Will would hurt him, I guess she was right.

I don’t think we’d want her as a good person.  She’s so good being bad.
