Does he really have to interrupt yet again?  As I stated last week, unless there is an emergency of some sort, we can wait until the evening news, go online, or go to a cable news channel right after his speech.  Whatever he has to say is not going to affect my life at that very moment.  I say this no matter who is president.

What exactly did he say that was so bad that people are going to stop buying Macy’s products?  To each his own I guess and I respect that if that’s how someone feels.  I also want to be respected in my decision to not recognize a lot of crooked politicians as part of my government.  I am still reeling from the election results last week, especially those from my state of Massachusetts.  I was extremely depressed and disappointed last week.

People said far worse things when G. Bush was re-elected and that was okay.  Calling the election a travesty or a sham is not awful.  Trump’s always shooting his mouth off about something.  But, everyone is entitled to his/her own opinion.  I heard terrible things said about Romney but I guess that’s okay since he’s a big bad Republican.

And John was with a woman that tried to kill Marlena!  If the tables were turned, John would have punched the guy’s lights out.

I am so sick of this PC crap!  Funny that movies can have lots of nudity, swearing, violence, and that’s all okay.  PC crowd says you can choose not to watch it.  It’s fine.  Music can have swearing, talk of violence against women, etc. and that’s also okay; just don’t listen to it if it offends you. That’s also fine.  It’s funny that when something doesn’t fit with the PC crowd’s agenda, it’s then labeled offensive and they demand something be done about it and it’s usually something extreme.  Double standards.  Drives me nuts.

Bonbon, what did Donald Trump say about the election that certain people think he should be fired from Macy’s?

It was probably about the tax hike plan.  If that’s the case, why interrupt Days for it?  There’s a time and place for this kind of thing.  Haven’t we all suffered enough for months with all of the political campaign commercials?  Let people enjoy some entertainment and focus the speech on the news, online, newspapers, etc.  Unless it’s an emergency and I need to know right then, then I would understand.

What was the message, Nora?  I bet it wasn’t anything important.

I wrote something similar on another thread, laysea.  I really like Nicole (most of the time anyway) and do not care much for Jenn right now.  I know Nicole has done some awful things in her past, but so have a lot of other characters and I guess you just can’t help who you like.

I could barely watch Abby today and all her yelling.  I actually fast forwarded her a bit.  I guess I should be on Jen and Abby’s side but I think with Jenn’s behavior of late and butting in where she shouldn’t, got on my nerves.  Though I believe that Nicole blaming Jenn was wrong, at least she took it back (even if it was for selfish reasons).  I can’t help feeling really sorry for Nicole and actually am on her side.  She lost yet another baby and right before her due date!  She was phenomenal yesterday.  I think it’s her acting that just pulls me in (not all of the time, but a lot). Hey, it’s a soap so we can absolutely love the bad guy if we want.

I was right!.  I just looked up Father Mulcahey (actor William Christopher) and it does say he was on Days on 11/6/12 as Father Tabias.

I’ve been saying this repeatedly about Jenn and Nicole.  I just fast forward practically everything with these two which is too bad, because I like these characters.  Isn’t this November sweeps?  Wouldn’t know it by this repetitive dialog day after day after day.

When John walked into the cabin and Kristin turned around, I said "puleeeeese"!  So far-fetched, even for Days.  Kristin showing up everywhere John is, is getting real old, real fast.  Did I miss something in my fast forwarding?  Why is she even there?  Or will we find out today?

You are so right on about Sami’s behavior, casey.  It was embarrassing and out of left field.  I kept saying "what??????"  First Jennifer, now Sami, who barely even talks to Daniel.  Preposterous.  They need to end this storyline and end it quickly.

We were extremely fortunate for the most part here in Massachusetts.  There were some towns without power until today but overall, things were not nearly as bad as predicted.  We had about a four hour window of very strong winds (which initially was supposed to be a 24 hour plus high wind event); that is when a lot of us lost power for a very short time and schools/work were called off Monday and some Tuesday but thank God we were spared the worst of it.  But my heart goes out to everyone affected in those hard-hit areas of NY and NJ and wherever else.
