When are Sami and EJ supposed to do the dirty deed? I want to make sure I have back-up batteries for my remote because I have a feeling I will be doing a lot of fast-forwarding with these scenes and the storyline that will follow with all the repurcussions from this. Or maybe it will be like driving by the site of a car wreck–you don’t want to watch it but you do anyway! I can’t think of a worse storyline.
I loved all the performances yesterday. They were especially powerful, including Sami’s. LOVED Will’s portrayal. His really stood out to me. His eyes were all red even when he wasn’t crying. You could really feel everyone’s sadness. I thought Stefano was fantastic and seeing Bo and Hope re-living the whole Zach tragedy was extremely touching. I don’t think I fast forwarded at all yesterday.
I didn’t even watch Rob’s dances as I’ve expressed many times before, I don’t even think he should be on this show and I’m so sick of the Kardashians. And there’s just something about him I find a turn off. As you said, Patti, his mannerisms rub me the wrong way as well!
And I just don’t like Hope. At first I just didn’t like her dancing and then I didn’t like her personality (or lack of). I’ll have to re-watch it tonight, but it seemed to me when Len was giving his remarks (which seemed pretty positive), Hope wasn’t even looking at him. She was looking at Maks with a kind of smirk. And I’ll have to re-watch it when Carrie Ann said to Maks something about the way he was smiling. Does anyone know, was Maks smirking or makin g faces?? It was funny when Carrie Ann lifted her paddle to give the score of "8" to them and she was so serious and quiet when she said it. You could tell she was not happy with Hope’s remarks. I want to watch that whole thing again.
IMO, JR puts all these people to shame both in dance and personality and appreciativeness (is that even a word?). I like Rikki but not as much as JR. He’s a beautiful person inside and out.
It was VERY strange to say the least that Marlena did not go to Sami. I know Sami has a lot of people around her but in a time like this, she needs her mother. And Marlena tells Carrie to tell Sami that she (Marlena) is putting her arms around her. Give me a break. Go see your own kid! With that said, I also think Sami is acting like her old obnoxious self; blaming John yet again. I can understand her being beside herself with anger/grief over Johnny being missing, but it’s always John’s fault where she’s concerned!
I have posted here before when the new writers took over that I liked the old ones better in terms of dialog and that I find many current storylines boring and conversations repetitive and it looks as if they don’t have much originality (ie. DiMera involvement in framing John and Sami/Austin/Carrie crap). I still watch but fast forward a lot. I have really tried to like all the stories going on but I just can’t get that interested in any. With that said, I still look forward to watching it (or some of it) after work. It’s like visiting old friends in a way (sound corny enough? LOL)
I was so hoping that no DiMera was setting John up. Couldn’t they have thought of anything original? It’s always the DiMera’s. It would have been nice seeing another villain involved in this.
And I thought I was the only one who fast-forwarded the wedding scenes! The only scenes I really enjoyed were the EJ/Nicole ones.
I wouldn’t care if Rob, Hope, or Nancy goes tonight. It should probably be Nancy though I don’t really like the other two at all. I never heard of Hope either, SW. I don’t like her dancing and her attitude. I never heard of Rob before this show either. He learns the steps but is not really a dancer in my opinion and quite frankly, I don’t know why he is even on this show. Oh ya, that’s right, he’s a Kardashian. And what are they famous for? Kim making a sex tape that "leaked" to the public and her father defending a murderer and now they have a stupid show. And then that whole marriage publicity stunt Kim pulled. Rob doesn’t seem like a bad guy and I probably shouldn’t judge him because of his last name, but I just don’t like do-nothing "reality" show "stars" on this show. Just my opinion!
I like Rikki–she is very good but JR all the way for me too!!!!! He is the real deal!
I’m dressed up today at work as a 70’s disco dancer and tonight when I hand out candy, I will wear a skull mask and my zombie/ghost shirt. I will go trick-or-treating to two of my neighbors’ houses. If I don’t go, they always call me wondering where I am as they know I am like a kid on Halloween! I just love it! And after that, I will watch some scary shows.

We got a few inches from the storm. Fortunately, it must have mixed with rain to keep the snow totals down. We lost our power twice; once Saturday night for one hour and then from Saturday night at 11:00 pm to Sunday morning at 9:30 am. It got a bit cold in the house but I had lots of layers on to sleep so it wasn’t bad at all. Amazingly, we still have a lot of leaves on our trees so we can still enjoy some color even though the colors aren’t as brilliant as in past years. There are many branches down but overall we were lucky where we live. I know the Western part of Mass. got hit very hard and so did Connecticut.
It’s so funny that I was raking leaves on Saturday and shoveling on Sunday!
Do you ever notice in the movies when somebody hacks into a computer, they usually try one password that doesn’t work, then a second one that still doesn’t work, then usually on the third try, bingo! they got the right one! I always laugh at this.
The only thing I liked about the last couple shows is the Salemites getting ready for Halloween. I love seeing everybody helping with the decorations. Everything else was just okay. I thought yesterday’s scene with Brady and Madison bordered on creepy. I did not find it sensual, passionate or whatever. It was just weird to me. It went on waaayyy too long.
I can’t wait to watch today as it seems the Halloween party starts and everybody will be in costume! That should be great!
