The dance was comical.  I was laughing a lot.  Both actors looked like they wanted to laugh so badly.

Besides watching The Middle and Modern Family, I too find most of the sitcoms stupid and just not funny as if they’re trying too hard.  I won’t watch any of the new sitcoms (and I couldn’t even stand seeing the promo for Whitney during Days on the bottom left of the TV screen-she kept popping up with a weird smirk and twisting and turning–I was so annoyed by that!) but am interested in Terra Nova, the show about time travel and dinasours.  I also might try watching the new Prime Suspect and perhaps Pan Am which I think will be on after Desperate Housewives, which I also watch.  I watched the Ringer on Tuesday night.  Still way too early to see if I’ll like it.  It seems just okay right now.  And with all of my "old" shows returning and some cable shows that are still one, I don’t know how I’m going to watch everything!

When watching the show last night, I had to rewind the DVR because I wanted to know what was hanging out of her a$$!!!

I knew somebody would post it here and there would be lots of comments!  LOL

I must be in the minority because I have not been enjoying the shows as much this past week.  I have fast forwarded a lot this week, especially Sami scenes, Taylor and Quinn scenes, and Vivian scenes.  I’ve just been very bored.

I recorded it but haven’t watched it yet.  I hope to watch it tonight.  I always thought Kathy was whacky.  Can’t wait to see it.   Did they show the mothers drinking yet again?

I thought the episode was pretty good.   I’m glad that Cochran wasn’t voted out first.  I kind of felt bad for him.  He did remind me of Woody Allen too!

Bonbon, one year I was going to dress up as a Survivor player for Halloween.  I was going to wear shorts, hiking boots, tank top, and buff but then I didn’t think it was creative enough.  Nobody would even know what I was supposed to be!

I was wondering the same thing about Vivy.  I don’t ever recall anyone saying she is adopted but I think she probably is.

You’re right Bonbon!  They are all crazy!  I think the mothers on Dance Moms are crazier than Abby though.  There are two mothers in particular who seem like big drinkers (the one with bleach blonde hair and the one with very short hair).  Every single time they are anywhere other than the dance studio, they have to have alcohol even when their kids are around.  Total boozehounds in my opinion.  I don’t know if you saw the episode where all the mothers and the kids were at Abby’s house.  The girls were in the pool swimming as the mothers were mixing drinks.

Kathy seems to be the whackiest of the bunch.  Her and her "Vivy"!!!!  That poor little girl.  I wonder though how much of this show is scripted?

The "Thorn Birds" is my favorite mini-series of all time!  I was 15 when it first  aired on television and at that time, I didn’t even know who Richard Chamberlain was.  I remember being initially disappointed that I didn’t recognize the actor from anything.  How quickly that feeling changed!!!  During the movie, I developed a huge crush on him and by the time it was over, I was so infatuated with him!  I even did a high-school book report on "Thorn Birds".  I am not as ga-ga over him now, but I still like seeing him on tv.  I think I’ve seen most things he’s been in, with the exception of "Dr. Kildare" which was before my time.   I also saw him on stage when he came to Boston years ago in "My Fair Lady".

I think the actress playing the psychiatrist is Sydney Penny.  It looks like her.  I think she was in another soap, maybe "All My Children" for a while but I know her from "The Thorn Birds".  She played the role of the young Meggie.

I just heard that George Clooney’s Italian ex-girlfriend will be on the show.  What??  Now you can be some famous person’s ex to be on a celebrity show?  I guess it shouldn’t surprise me since we have the Paris Hiltons, Kardashians, etc etc.  that dominate the "entertainment" shows and are even given airtime on the news and they are only famous for having money and connections.

I fast forwarded through most of yesterday’s show, especially the Vivian/Gus scenes and Sami scenes.  I was so bored and for some reason I just don’t like watching Sami lately.

I think Abby borrowed her outfit yesterday from one of the original "Charlie’s Angels" ladies.  I didn’t love it but I didn’t hate it either.  Either way, it sure was 70’s!

SW, you got a great day to be in Maine!  Talk about gorgeous weather the last few days.  Now I know when I go food shopping on Friday or Saturday,  the bottled water and bread and milk will be mostly gone.  One thing I have to say for the Boston meteorologists is that they are not hitting the panic button on this one.  They are telling people that a hurricane, category 1 or 2, is a possibility but at the very least it will be a tropical storm and that the storm is still far away and we just need to stay tuned and be prepared.  Either way, looks like we’ll get something!  I think the wind would be the scariest thing of all.  Guess we should really enjoy the next few days!

I noticed how good she looked right away!  Orange is definitely her color.
