I loved it too!  The acting was amazing especially from Taylor and EJ.  All were great.  Outstanding episode.

I agree.  I think the jurors thought she was guilty as well.  But even with murder taken off the table, why wasn’t she found guilty of any of the lesser charges (not including the lying)?  I heard that one of the charges that she could have been found guilty of is child neglect.  If that’s true, then why oh why didn’t the jury at least find her guilty of that?  Or manslaughter?  Just don’t get it.

Even if it was just an accidentental drowning (which I and most of us don’t believe for one second), but even if it was, and they reported it then end of story, but to dump the body somewhere, having used duct tape and chloroform and then lie about it for 30 days and not tell anybody that her girl was missing and all the while go out partying is just beyond comprehension.   At the very least if that’s not child neglect, then I don’t know what is.   The jury thought nothing of this?  One of the alternate jurors explained away Casey’s not reporting her daughter missing for 30 days as the family just being dysfunctional.  Are you kidding me? I think there’s something very wrong with someone labeling her actions/behavior as only being dysfunctional.  That goes waaaaaay beyond dysfunctional.  It makes me wonder if he was even fit to serve on a jury.

I can’t stop thinking about this story.  This is NOT justice.

So we are supposed to believe there is no murderer of Caylee.  From what I’ve heard, the defense said that Caylee drowned in the family pool.   And Casey covered it up by dumping her child’s body somewhere.   I can’t believe they used that as the defense.  Wouldn’t the cover up itself be a crime?  Not reporting it right away?  Getting rid of the body?  I don’t believe that story one bit, but even if it was an accident, she covered it up by not telling anybody, lying about Caylee’s whereabouts, and getting rid of her own daughter’s body on which they found duct tape.  And even if her daughter did drown, what mother would go out partying every night right after it happened?  I am so disgusted.  It’s so hard to look at pictures of that sweet little girl whose life was mercilessly cut way too short.

I’m with you, Patti.  It sickens me that she got away with murder.  It took her ONE MONTH to report her child as missing; one whole month.   And she was out partying all the while.  Was that not a red flag to the jury?  And all the lying she did to her family and police?  And the traces of chloroform in her car?  And there must have been some other evidence that I don’t know about as I didn’t follow the case closely.  I know that being on a jury you have to follow exact instructions/guidelines so I’m betting that at least some of the jury did not think she is innocent but had no choice but to acquit her for the prosecution not proving beyond a reasonable doubt.  Being acquitted though does not equate innocence.

Now she will make millions on book deals, etc.  Makes me want to puke.

I loved it too, Bonbon! (and as you mentioned, especially Maxine playing the daughter in that blonde wig!)  I thought it was very clever.  I really expected to not like it at all and fast forward through it, but I was pleasantly surprised.  I didn’t see any of the nominated movies but I knew which ones they were spoofing.  I’m sure if I saw the movies I would have appreciated it even more though I did see the John Wayne version of True Grit.  It was great seeing them play other people and it looked as if they were having a lot of fun doing it!  At least they acknowledged the 4th of July somewhat!

I know right now that Hallmark is showing "Little House on the Prairie" a lot.  "Beverly Hills 90210" is shown on Soapnet.  Didn’t Tori Spelling’s character, Donna Martin, sleep with Shawn Christian (Daniel) in the 9th or 10th season of the show?  I know he was on a few episodes.

I also get a channel called the Retro Channel.  It shows shows like the Rockford Files, Kojak, Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew mysteries, Simon & Simon, and lots of others that I have never seen before.

I really liked that show too, Bonbon!  I was disappointed when they cancelled it.  But I do like Rizzoli and Isles and am glad it’s back on this summer.  I can’t wait for The Closer to begin as well.

Maxine is so realistically portrayed that I don’t even think of her as an actress anymore!    She is so believable that I actually think she’s a nurse!  I was just thinking last week that she would fit in so easily at any hospital (except that in real life she probably doesn’t have any nursing skills but you know what I mean!)

That’s really strange.  I don’t know even one person who watches tennis.  Maybe it’s more popular outside of the Boston area?  In any event, it should absolutely be on a sports channel.

I noticed that smile too!  Very strange indeed.  It’s too bad this actress was not in another role.  She’s a great actress and plays strong characters well and would have been good either as a strong independent woman or a baddie, but not this in-between "I don’t know what this character supposed to be about" role.

I think Jennifer looks best when she is not all dressed up.  She is just naturally cute and doesn’t need a lot of makeup.

As for Dan and Jen kissing, yes, I see what you mean!  When he would kiss Chloe, I thought his tongue would be in her esophagus.  With Jen, it’s definitely less fiery.  Who knows if it’s the director’s preference or the actor’s.  I bet it’s the director’s as Jen is a different type than Chloe so maybe they want the kissing to be sweeter, more tender.

I remember her.  I remember her as a liar.  Also, didn’t she have a big scar on one side of her face that she would cover with her hair?  I’m not absolutely sure but for some reason I think she did.

I agree.  Rafe 2 storyline is getting a little boring now.  I fast-forwarded practically every Chloe/Quinn scene yesterday.  So far, I don’t care one bit about Quinn and it’s not because he’s turning out to be a bad guy; for some reason I just don’t care for him.  Maybe it’s because he’s a new character but I don’t know.  I also have to fast forward most every scene of Taylor and EJ, especially when they were in bed together.  I know things can’t move along at lightning pace as the stories need time to develop, but I feel right now that everything’s slowing down a lot.

Yes it was a business arrangement initially but they did start to develop feelings for one another, maybe not love but they did care for each other.  Besides, Nicole wasn’t even the one who wanted to get married.  EJ pushed the idea in so far as to say that she had to give up Brady in the process.  She was perfectly happy seeing Sydney occasionally and having Brady in her life.  She never wanted to move back in with EJ.  And, business arrangement or not, Taylor had NO right to interfere with EJ and Nicole’s marriage.  Taylor betrayed her own sister and if she supposed to be so good and knew that EJ was bad, why did she even fall for him in the first place?

I’m glad Hines won too.  I don’t think he was  the best dancer but I couldn’t help but really like him.  Did you notice at the end when they announced the winners, that Kirstie grabbed Max (she didn’t look too happy) and they hugged for a long time over to the side and they didn’t go over to Kym and Hines to congratulate them?  All the others from the season went over and hugged them but Kirstie and Max were nowhere to be seen, at least until 11:00 when the show ended.  Maybe they went over later when the show ended.  I can see being disappointed but I think usually the 2nd place couple hugs each other and then goes right over to the winning couple.  Seemed a bit odd to me.
