Completely agree. I don’t think anybody is buying this "love" storyline. Have they had lengthy conversations together so that they really get to know one another? No. Do they have any chemistry together? Heck no. So we’re supposed to believe that because of a couple of googly-eyed looks, they fell madly in love even though Nicole was going to be marrying EJ. We are being force fed this ridiculous storyline. Maybe it would have been more believable if it happened over a long period of time as they really got to know each other and if they had unbelievable chemistry but even then I don’t know.
They had a perfect opportunity last night to vote off Rob as he didn’t play his immunity idol. If not him, then I was hoping the girl Natalie would be voted off. I just don’t like her. I don’t like any of the girls who rode Rob’s coat tails. But maybe that in itself is good strategy.
Anyway, I think they are not voting off Rob because each one does believe that Rob will take them to the finals. And maybe, as you say, it’s because they think they can win against him because he manipulated everyone and in the end, will not get a vote because of this. But I was thinking that maybe they think they can beat Rob because he’s played the game several times and was even runner-up before so nobody would want him to win. Maybe I’m way off, but like you say, it’s very hard to understand why they still want him around. Makes absolutely no sense.
I can understand Abby wishing her parents could work things out and stay together because they were married a long time and she was raised mostly by both of them. But Melanie wanting hers to be together is kind of silly. They were never married in the first place; they were friends that had a fling. And Melanie was never raised by both of them so she never got used to having them together.
I’ve noticed that too about Taylor’s eyes, Bonbon. It always looks to me as if she hasn’t slept in days. She just doesn’t look healthy and neither does her hair.
Bonbon, I couldn’t agree more about Kirstie. There is NO WAY she went from a 12 to an 8. I’m petite and small-boned and a size 3 or 4 and she’s tall and a lot bigger than me. No way she’s size 8. She must have started as a size 20+ and gone down to a 16, just as you think as well. She does look great though and I congratulate her on losing the weight as she had wanted. I think she will go next though I like her a lot! She’s got natural talent.
And I do like Hines but I don’t think he should win it all either. I really like Ralph but I don’t know if he has what it takes to win though if I had to pick a winner, I would pick Ralph. Maybe it’s because I was an ’80’s girl! Chelsea’s probably a better dancer but I like Ralph’s whole package (not THAT kind of package!). LOL
I didn’t watch it last night but recorded it. I had no idea Kendra has been voted off! Yeah! She was doing pretty well but I won’t miss her fake boobs and constipated smile.
I just looked up the actresses’ birthdays. Tamara (who plays Ava) just turned 40 in April and Ari (Nicole) will be 37 in June.
I hope Matt keeps winning. Even if he eventually loses one, I feel he should get something for winning all those other challenges!
I agree, that was freaky how Philip found the shorts so quickly. I wonder if the producers kind of led him in the direction of where they were and that’s why he found them so fast. It seems hard to believe that he just found them on his own like that.
I watched a little of the show. I’m just not all that interested in it now. I don’t really like anybody that’s left except for Matt, who I felt really sorry for. And I can’t believe how stupid everybody is concerning Rob. Have they not watched him play the game when he was on before? Do they not know that he is a smooth manipulator? I’m glad I missed the part of Grant telling Rob that he loves him. That is so weird and it would make me want to puke. I’m at least glad Philip got his shorts back as that underwear has seen better days.
I thought the very same thing, Patti! As soon as Nicole said the name John Black and I remembered what Kristian Alfonso tweeted, I felt pretty sure he’d be the one coming back. That would be awesome!
Actually she was very thin when she played Ava, too. In fact, she may have even been thinner then. I remember first tuning in when she started that role and I was very surprised at how thin she got. When she was on General Hospital she had a lot more weight on her from what I remember. I think she’ll be good as the new Taylor.
Tom said that the two couples left were not necessarily in the bottom two so I definitely think that Kendra and Chris were in the bottom two. I’m sooooooo glad Ralph didn’t go home but was very disappointed that Chris did. Kendra irks me every time she is on the screen. I couldn’t even watch her encore performance last night. Chris had a great attitude. I thought he may have made it to the finals. Kendra should absolutely go next week. When Jennifer Gray said that Kirstie has a genuineness about her in her dance, I definitely agreed. That’s what’s lacking in Kendra’s dances. She’s not genuine and that shows in her dances. As much as the music is important to a dance, so is the dancer’s personality. I think of dancing as expressing your inner self (not to get all Philosophical here!)
I only saw two dances last night, Kendra’s and Ralph’s. I’m looking forward to seeing the rest tonight. I also hope Kendra is gone tonight. Everything about her is so fake, from her boobs to her laugh. Her smile is so forced, it looks almost as if she’s constipated. I love Ralph. He is doing well and he just seems like a great guy. Too bad about Karina’s fall but I don’t think it will affect the votes.
I also saw the video "package" (and quite a package it was if you know what I mean) of Bruno in Elton John’s music video years ago. I think they even blurred part of his red speedo in that picture of him. I thought that was very funny. I could have sworn, and I’ll have to watch it a few times since I recorded it, that after they showed clips of that video, that Bruno said to Tom something about his package. I could be wrong. Maybe it’s because I kept thinking of the word package! I’ll have to check it out again tonight.
I read that Chris Jericho danced a tango to a Journey song? There are so many beautiful tango songs. As I’ve ranted before, they need to play songs that fit the flavor of the dance. In my opinion, it can totally affect how the dance is portrayed and received by the audience. It’s not just the steps involved in dancing, it’s also the feeling you get from it and if the music doesn’t fit the dance, the dance doesn’t fully work even if it was performed flawlessly. For me, anyway.
I too was hoping that Dan and Chloe would get back together. They have a lot of chemistry together and I just liked them. And I’m still not convinced that Parker isn’t Daniel’s. I think that eventually they will do another paternity test and Daniel will be the father (at least that’s what I’m hoping). And as I’ve said before, I feel there is absolutely zero chemistry between Dan and Jen.

I like Jen and Dan separately, but am not feeling them together chemistry-wise. And I agree about the Jen and Dan collisions. I have a feeling this will happen at least a couple more times so that they can look at each other all googly-eyed and then we can see the flashbacks over and over again of Jen daydreaming about the collisions.
