Tate is straight. Why do you want a gay character romancing a straight character? Haven’t we already seen that with Leo and almost every straight good looking character on Days? If there is anything that would bring hate mail against the LGBTQ community, it would be having a gay character forcing himself on a character that’s straight. Give it a rest. If they bring gay characters on the show, fine. But let’s not push gay characters on straight characters. I never bought into Allie and Chanel. Chanel stated from the get-go that she was fluid. Allie never did and then all of a sudden decided she was bi-sexual. It didn’t work. Now Craig Wesley coming out, worked. Why? Because it was emotional. We cared for Craig Wesley and the pain he felt. Coming out was emotional, he talked about our generation being scared to be themselves. It was truthful and honest.
No offense, but I don’t think most people share your sentiment. Also, that’s the ring Chanel likes, so what do you care? And as for gay romance, the only gay characters we’ve had are either off in NZ or one half is in jail. Many fans are really happy about Johnny and Chanel. I’m one of them. They’ve had chemistry since they both took over the roles of these characters. Chanel never should have been with Allie. Allie was truly the most boring character until Wendy showed up.
I don’t think Sloan has any ability to take down Leo. Totally the opposite. What does Leo lose if he reveals that Sloan stole Nicole’s baby? Dimitri is already in Supermax. It actually might work out better for Dimitri and Leo. If they find out that Trask was in on this with Sloan, they will realize that Dimitri was shuffled away to protect them from their secret being revealed. Again, Sloan loses all and Leo gets something.
I keep seeing there’s going to be a house fire, but when? I thought it was supposed to be last week. I haven’t seen anything about the fire this week and spoilers even beyond, don’t mention it. Do you suppose they are going to re-do the Horton house set and this is how they will do it?
I agree, I don’t want Constantine to be John’s father either, but for some reason it looks like the writers and TPTB want to rewrite John’s history again. It is getting old. I want them to keep DVD as John’s dad, but I cannot figure out Constantine’s relationship to John or why he would know John, unless he just knows his real name and what he did during the years that John has no recollection of his life.
I’m still trying to figure out if they’re going to make Constantine John’s father. Every time he seems to recognize John’s eyes, it makes me wonder. Especially after Constantine said he never saw the pawn, only heard of him. So he wouldn’t recognize John from being the Pawn. I also heard they were going to re-write John’s past yet again. Which all leads me to believe, from the rumor you heard, that DVD is not returning, but that Constantine will be revealed as John’s father.
Good point on #1. #2, I have heard that Holly is going to be off set for about a month, but nothing about Nicole. I’m guessing that there will be a reason why Nicole can not go and be with Holly. Otherwise, you are right, what happens to this storyline if Nicole is gone? #3 who is Martin Mann? #4, I usually skip the intro, but I think I heard Marlena do it on the last Beyond Salem. I don’t know what’s going on now.
My opinion is that instead of making a subtle point, the majority of the episode felt very scolding to the viewers. I did like the interaction of characters yesterday, why don’t we have that more often. I liked Johnny and Channel with Rafe and Jada. I liked seeing Chad, Leo, and Everett being civil and talking with each other. They could have those interactions every day on the show. I was actually hoping that with it being Abe’s and Paulina’s anniversary, that he would get his memory back. At this point, I don’t think that’s going to happen.
I posted this in another thread, but no biggie. I am so happy that we as viewers got to see him on the Christmas episode. Also love that we were able to see him with Dick Van Dyke. I did hear that we will see him again in February and possibly May. I am sure he will have a beautiful memorial on Days—-at least he better. I am just so sure it will be a very difficult episode for the entire cast, especially his wife Susan.
I think they aren’t repeating that scene because we all watched it happen. If you recall we didn’t see Andre’s murder until we had memories from Abigail of that night. No one else saw it, not even us. But we all watched Holly show the bag of pills to Tate. No need to prove to us any further that they were Holly’s pills.
I don’t understand this ruthless, evil, vengeful EJ. He has Johnny and Sydney and should understand a father’s anguish for his son. Tate is 16. He didn’t murder anyone. He should not be in an adult jail. I think it was mentioned that he was being held for manslaughter. How? Holly is still alive! The only thing Tate is truly guilty of, is obstruction of justice by trying to hide the pills that Holly took. That’s not an offense that gets a 16 year old in an adult jail. And by the way, if he’s in the same place as Lucas and Clyde—that’s prison. At worst, Tate would be in the county jail, not prison with Clyde who is a murderer. I hope Paulina steps in because EJ is being a total a-hole.
