You seem to mix up reality with this made up story. Everett has to have a back story. Why couldn’t he have had a friend in Seattle who died of a drug overdose. Trust me when I tell you people are dying daily in Seattle from fentanyl overdoses. Now I’m not sure if Everett made up the story to Stephanie for sympathy, because we do know he is liar about something in his past with Jada, but it’s also plausible this really happened in his past. A character doesn’t have to have been in our orbit for that character’s past to exist. They are characters.
Yes! EJ was just evil! This whole storyline is so absolutely inaccurate. And letting EJ dictate what happens to Tate is so wrong.
Let me count the ways—first EJ should recuse himself from this case, there is a conflict of interest since this story involves his step daughter. Second, there is a Good Samaritan law that says if a person finds a person has OD’d, and they call the police, they can not be held responsible for that overdose especially without proof. Third, the worst thing Tate could be responsible for is attempting to obstruct an investigation, same as Brady. Fourth, Tate has no prior convictions for anything and he’s 16 or 17. No one would throw him in an adult jail/prison. He would probably be sent to a juvenile detention center.
EJ is going to eat his words when everyone finds out that Holly is a wild child and bought those drugs all on her own. But knowing EJ, he’ll want to keep prosecuting Tate. Justin is an awful lawyer and I see next week he quits representing Tate. Maybe everyone should have listened to Alex.
Yes on the accent. I noticed it a lot in the past few days. I am having a very difficult time seeing Theresa. I still see Gwen and her accent keeps slipping so I’m hearing Gwen too.
Nicole’s focus on Holly is what’s knocking it out of the park. She is an amazing actress. The stupid part is Tate and Brady.
I agree. However, I bet they played up DVD calling to wish Merry Christmas because of John’s upcoming pawn storyline.
I personally think that Will and Sonny have no purpose of being here for this storyline. To be honest, this storyline is incredibly stupid and I hate seeing this between Brady and Tate since neither one of them supplied the drugs that Holly took. At least with Will and Lucas, Will did shoot EJ. But this storyline is dumb. Tate didn’t supply the drugs so EJ would have had to prove that he did beyond a reasonable doubt. Also, EJ couldn’t even prosecute Tate or anyone for that matter. He’d have to recuse himself for conflict of interest. Just the most stupid story that we all know will go nowhere.
From what I’ve read, Martha Madison was let go several months ago. However, the writers didn’t give her some grand send-off, they just made her disappear. No explanation as to where she is. We never saw her say she was leaving town, going to visit Claire, joining Shawn, nothing! I know they wanted MM to be recurring and just come on periodically and she said no, which I don’t blame her. So I have no idea what is happening with the character.
On another note—original Belle, Kirsten Storms, just abruptly left GH. I know she’s done that several times, but that has been because of health issues. Maybe she would be willing to come back to Days as a recurring character instead of an on contract character on GH.
Well I’m guess the writers who stepped in during the writer’s strike couldn’t come up with anything too original so they are revisiting/rehashing an old story. I’m bored with it, so I probably will ff through this. I just hate the character of Konstantin so much, I don’t care what he’s involved in.
I live within the Seattle news area. We get stories here from all over the world. Not only that, Dimera Enterprises is supposed to be a worldwide corporation. The fact that Gabi had become Stefan’s widow several years ago, would probably have made some news. She also went to prison for Andre’s murder, again probably would have made more than local news. It’s not beyond belief that Gabi could get her name in more than the local paper. She was also once the CEO of her company, Gabi Chic.
🤞🏻Melinda goes to China and hangs out with Wendy. They actually had a good conversation the other day and I thought, it’s too bad they killed off Melinda’s daughter.
Well if Everett is a reporter, which we’ve been told he is, why would he not recognize Gabi? She’s been arrested a few times and most recently for offing Li Shin. Could Everett not have recognized her because she’s notorious?
@doolfan, I think Dr. Rolf will definitely play a role in the return of Li Shin, at least I hope so. Honestly, I liked Li and Melinda together and I am holding out hope for them in the future. I don’t like the crap Melinda is involved in with Sloan and I’d much rather see her and Li teamed up.
