I hate it when my show is interrupted. I would guess that 99% of the time it’s something that could be shown on the evening news and not considered "breaking" news that needs to be reported. Lately, all we’ve had are interruptions for non-newsworthy moments. Some people are so blinded by their own political agenda.
I thought for sure the girl would be Kinsey. Especially after she took that call from Chloe’s phone. First of all Chloe’s clients call Quinn, not Chloe directly. That was really odd to see someone calling Chloe. If Kinsey was in the hospital beaten up that certainly would have led to a bigger more interesting story. Chloe may have been exposed at that point and quite possibly Quinn. But they made this some random person and it just came out of nowhere with no background.
When Chad found out he was a Dimera, he also found out that he was older than he thought. I think when he found out his age, he was a couple of years older. Since he was older than Will to begin with (a year ahead in school) he would have thought he was 18 when he was really 20. Will is now 18 so that would make Chad 21. Hope I didn’t confuse you any more.
She and faux Rafe haven’t been together in several months–cause this story dragged on forever–I would hope if she were pregnant, it is real Rafe’s baby.
If any of you recall, when the original character of Brady came to Salem as a young man, he was pretty despicable. I remember wishing they would write the character off. He wasn’t drinking, but he was mean and very resentful of Marlena, which I thought was odd since Marlena had practically raised him. I think we are all used to the sweeter Brady and seeing him mean, vengeful and drunk is off-putting.
This is one nauseating character! Thought I would vomit when she started kissing Brady the other day. And drunk or not, this is the second man in a row that Taylor has fallen all over who used to be involved with Nicole. I don’t have any sisters, but I have 3 daughters and I thought there was a "code" kind of like friends, that you don’t date or kiss or sleep with your sister’s boyfriends, husbands, etc.
Nicole shot him at her wedding to Victor. Then when JER was writing that horrible killer storyline where everyone was really alive on an island, Nicole found him there. I don’t remember him officially drowning, just that he disappeared when they were trying to leave the island, I think there was a storm at sea. I guess that was a way to leave room for him to return one day.
I have to agree, though. Her son is the same age as my youngest, plus she has another little one. I’m not condemning her decision to work outside the home, but honestly, she’s everywhere. Let’s face it, if she’s on the set of Days, then off to the Biggest Loser, plus a new show, multiple product endorsement commercials, promoting her book(s), etc., how much time is she giving her family? Not only that, I’m wiped out from grocery shopping, I can’t imagine she’s full of vim and vigor by the time she gets home.
When Kate had Hearth and Home, I really thought they’d develop her business skills, maybe make her a business woman who would rival one of Victor’s businesses. I’d so much rather have seen her as a ruthless business woman that a vindictive menopausal woman out for revenge on every pretty female that gets involved with her children. Regardless of being married to Stefano, she doesn’t even have a real story with him. She’s just a side-kick and without any story of her own to tell, she is the most despicable character on the show. They really have wasted Lauren Koslow’s talents.
I love Nicole! And yes, she is beautiful whether she’s wearing make-up or not. I noticed the same thing you did. As for Dario, he has definitely grown on me and it has taken a long time, but I’m sorry that Days fired him. I don’t like Melanie and Brady–that is just gross! He’s too old for her and it just looks awkward. Dario and Melanie look much better together.
And I hate the writers too. Because they can’t seem to come up with anything original for her character. It is the same old Kate everyday. Honestly, I think anyone of us, could write something for her that doesn’t involve trying to mastermind Chloe’s demise. What is her obsession with poor girl? Without Chloe, what would Kate do except fawn all over Stefano. Either give her a real story, or write her off.
Why doesn’t Sami ever grow up or learn from her mistakes? As I recall, the last time she ran off in a rage to EJ’s, Rafe got in a car accident which led to the R2 fiasco. The time before that, she ran off in the night and shot EJ. Can someone please help her mature? Sami and Rafe have super-couple written all over them, if only the writers will give her a real story instead of the ranting, fighting, bitching, complaining and whining crap that I see day in and day out. For goodness sake, she’s not 15, quit writing her like she is!
I so hate Kate and this storyline is just nauseating. Phillip has full custody of Parker. Why does Kate feel even the most remote need to keep Chloe out of that child’s life. If anyone should know how awful and horrible it is to lose your child, it is Kate. She’s also the one person who should know how miserable it is to be a prostitute, but that’s the revenge she’s put on Chloe. I despise her character! Wish they had written her and Stefano off.
