Participantof my Father-in-law. He’s now 80, but he was the baby of his family. Everyone calls him Babe, except me. He hates being called Babe, but the name has stuck and every now and then my mother-in-law calls him Babe and I see him cringe–kind of makes me laugh. I don’t think he started insisting on being called by his name, Clarence or Clancy, until he was about 65 so he is still Babe. That’s probably worse than being a "Sonny."

ParticipantI didn’t see a Sonny on there yesterday.

ParticipantThere is nothing I like about Taylor. I think I am hyper-critical because I have no warm fuzzy feelings for her. I too, cannot wait for them to write her off. However, as long as she’s on the show, could the wardrobe dept. please, please put her in something that doesn’t look like a Hefty garbage sack!

ParticipantUnless they just can’t act. Dario’s acting is getting better, but he’s still pretty stiff for me. One of the reasons I like Chad is because he never took center stage as soon as he appeared. He had his thing with Mia and then he was background. They just recently started using his character more and I really like the way he’s developed.
Taylor is a perfect example of a character over done. No matter who the actress is portraying the character, I have seen Taylor every freakin’ day and frankly I’m sick of her. The pier scene drove me up a wall with it’s million flashbacks. The saving grace moment was when they changed actresses. I was finally spared that scene. However, I have not been spared the character and I really don’t like her. They could have been so much more subtle. That’s all I’m saying. If you don’t throw them in my face everyday for a majority of the show, I’m more likely to want to watch that character get more airtime because I have slowly developed a relationship with them instead of being forced to develop a relationship with them.

ParticipantYes, I’ve been a Days fan forever. I love my old characters. I think the problem on Days is that they bring in young actors and put them in the forefront immediately and then dump the "old timers." That’s what I don’t like. But some of the younger characters have grown on me. I really like Chad. Can’t say I liked him in the Mia storyline, but I like him a lot now, and I think his story is developing. New Abby is growing on me. Didn’t like her too much at first, but she and Chad have chemistry so that’s a
. I like Will. I like the guy that was always hanging out with Kinsey, I can’t remember his name. Sadly, I don’t see many young likeable females. I wish they would develop Gabby more if she’s going to be on the show. She seems too whiney for me. Maybe her character will blossom.

ParticipantBrian Datillo is a great actor and in real life a big jokester. I would love for Lucas to come back with some fire and some humor. Obviously we need Alli back to because of Johnny. Nathan would be o.k., but I’m not totally in love with the character. I’d rather see Phillip come back, but now with Chloe leaving, I doubt that will happen.
Please do not pair Lucas and Melanie. YUCK!

ParticipantBope with a good story!
Chad has definitely grown on me and I really like him.
Sami and Rafe together again–what a relief!
Knowing that several characters are leaving and some of my favorites are coming back.

ParticipantShe had been slashed with a knife or a razor. But she ended up getting plastic surgery and her face was better.

ParticipantI’m wondering where this is going? Can’t wait to see it all play out. I do love that Bo and Hope are doing something. Beats the heck out of mopey Hope with no purpose.
mommytutu
ParticipantShe plays Quinn Fabre’s mom on the show. I still find it hard to watch her as the mom of a teenager because I only remember her as a teen prostitute on Days.

ParticipantI’m no fan of EJ’s so if someone wants to beat him up, that’s o.k. with me. I just didn’t need to see it all. I hate boxing a wrestling for that same reason. I don’t watch movies about boxers either. I just don’t enjoy seeing the fight. I would have rather seen the first couple of blows and then we assume, Brady kicked his butt good. Less is more!

ParticipantI want Daniel to be my plastic surgeon. I had shoulder surgery a few weeks ago and my scars are very new looking. Jennifer doesn’t have one scar from her open heart surgery–it’s like it never happened. He is one amazing doctor and he should quit doing what he does and go into plastic surgery.

ParticipantI think I’ve used that word a million times on here. Sorry! But the writers really messed this up. I do not like Jenn and Daniel together. And Jenn literally throwing herself at Daniel was nauseating. It’s like she’s forcing herself to want to have sex with him. They have no relationship really, and she’s ready to jump into bed with him even when he offers to do other things. It’s like they got a hotel so they could have sex–not much different than Chloe and her client yesterday. Why couldn’t we just build up the relationship instead of rushing into this? Again, I am disappointed in the writers–no romance, just forced relationship/sexual encounter.

ParticipantI still would rather have Shawn, Belle, and Claire come back. Especially if they can get the last little girl they had playing Claire. She and John had some of the best scenes together and she was such a natural in front of the camera.

Participantwere hookers for Stefano.
