I actually do not like this actress. Everyone bragged about how awesome she is, but I agree, she makes weird facial expressions that don’t even match the emotion she should be showing. I’m not sure who made the executive decision to have her be faux Abigail, but I am not impressed.
@doolfan, I think that’s the case. Now I have heard rumors that John is her father and that Steve is her father, but who knows? Sometimes I feel like there was no plan, they’re just writing on the fly.
I’m not a fan of faux Abigail either. A lot of people were so excited that she was coming to Days, but I feel like she’s very stiff. I don’t see any emotion in her, she’s just very flat. I too am hoping her stint on Days will be short lived. I don’t think she’s interesting and I don’t see any chemistry with her and Chad or even her and her brother Mark Green. You’d think she could at least pull off some chemistry with the guy who is her brother. She doesn’t even have any emotion with him. Enough of my criticism of faux Abby. Sweeps are coming soon and I like that the show is finally ramping up.
I definitely think that would be inappropriate. However, judging by past cast members who have died, I don’t even think they could write in his death within 6 months. I’m think we’ll have to wait longer than that. I just am curious if his last scene was shot in February, have they written a “story” as to why he’ll be off over the next 6 months.
Jason47 posted on Facebook this morning, that we actually already saw his last day on Days. It was the Sept. 9 episode when Brady got out of jail and he comes in and announces that Justin got the charges dropped against him. Tate was also in that scene. I am just so sad. I feel like that scene gave us no warning. None of us knew he was so ill and I really wish Days had prepared us a little. We see him bouncing back from being held by Clyde and then he’s gone. I just don’t know how the show will be able to explain this.
I am also very sad for his family. Pancreatic cancer is one of those cancers that once it’s detected, it’s usually too late. How very sad.
I like and use this forum. I know not many people post here anymore, I think that happened when there were problems with the site. I would like to continue it. Plus I can actually post here. I am on another forum where I can only comment, not post a thought or a spoiler. Salem Place is like home.
First of all, as of Friday’s show, Fiona does not know that EJ has released Brady. She still believes Brady is pleading guilty. That means no trial, just straight to jail. She doesn’t know what has transpired. And Xander left her with Sarah. He has no idea that his mom is a drunken wack job.
As for faux Abby, she’s not Abby. This week Steve is going to start investigating and he does not believe she is Abby, either. She and Dr. Green are running a con and I believe it’s some sort of revenge against the Dimeras or the Hortons or Jack and that revolves around their parents’ deaths. They keep bringing up the deaths so I’m sure that is going to figure into this storyline.
I agree. It was a snooze fest. It was so boring I woke up this morning and couldn’t even remember if I watched yesterday, or not. I heard today won’t be much better. Tomorrow is supposed to pick up.
They’ve already altered Dr. Green’s storyline. On the 4th of July, Aaron was going home to his mom’s 4th of July cookout. Now both parents are dead and Dr. Green is responsible for raising them. I had heard Marin is his sister, but in yesterday’s conversation with Felicity (I think that’s her name) he only mentioned him, her, and Aaron being a family. So where does Marin figure in this storyline. If she were related to them, it seems he would have said, “I’m talking to our sister.” Instead he lied. Why?
Yes, I think Mark Greene and Marin are siblings. If they are going the route that somehow their parents’ death is because of Jack, the Hortons, or the Dimeras, isn’t that the same storyline as Sloane and her brother with Paulina. I’m kind of tired of repeat storylines.
That’s what I think happened. Which is really bad for us viewers. We started to get excited about a few storylines knowing the regular writers would come back and finish those stories. Instead, they chose to kill off characters or have them leave town and then they just dropped stories around them. I think it would have been a good story for Julie had the time capsule been opened and Everett was somehow linked to it. Another story they dropped was the story of a murder in Seattle that was unsolved and Jada believed Bobby had a connection to that. It was only mentioned a few times when they were trying to determine who Bobby/Everett was. Also, how did the fingerprints Jada got of Everett match Bobby? Why would Bobby, an alter, have his fingerprints on file, but Everett, the real person did not.
First of all, I think Dr. Greene was supposed to be Leo’s new love interest. But that was under the scab writers. When the regular writers came back, I think they chose not to go that way with his character so they made him the bad guy working with Marin—but why? This storyline is so full of holes and chopped off stories. They did this with Bobby/Everett and they also did this with the time capsule storyline. This is truly the biggest problem with this show being written so many months ahead of airdate. I wish they would stop that. They can’t even reverse course when the stories are horrible because they’ve already recorded 6 to 7 months worth of show based on a bad storyline. That is what we’re seeing now, a hot mess of nothing being cohesive on the show.
