But not everyone agrees with your perception of being gay. Honestly, who would "choose" to live a life being treated like a leper? Also, having taught for more than 20 yrs., I have seen children as young as 5 who were obviously gay. I don’t think they woke up one morning and said, "Hey, I’m 5 and I think I’ll choose to dress up like a princess and play with Barbies." It’s a tough life to live even at that age, a children can be the most cruel when another child doesn’t "fit in" the way society expects them to. That said, I would not be repulsed by a gay storyline if it were done right. I don’t want a sex scene, but I don’t usually watch those scenes with the straight characters on the show. I prefer the illusion to the actual thing.
Shadow, everyone is entitled to their opinion, I respect yours and I hope you can respect mine. I also hope that if Days does decide to tackle the issue of homosexuality that they do it in a way that respects both sides of the issue.

I absolutely cringe and get physically ill, everytime Faux Rafe touches Sami. I ff throught every scene I can. If he begins to touch her, I get nauseous. I also agree that the writers have to regret both of these crappy storylines. However, I don’t think they have much talent, because they’re also giving us Jen/Dan which has NO chemistry whatsoever, and the Dario/Mel storyline. Please, can’t we back burner Melanie for a while. I like her so much more when I don’t have to watch her every day, not to mention, Dario was much more enjoyable as the patient with the deadly illness that infected Melanie and Nathan. Honestly, he either stares blankly or gets a weird face when he tries to show emotion. I wish they would let the fans write in with some suggested storylines and try to use a few because the writers suck! The only thing I like right now is Victor and Maggie and the re-united Bope. Let’s just hope they don’t mess that up, too. I like Adrian and Justin, but beyond the sex on the pool table, why didn’t we get a little romance? I can’t figure out how they went from nothing to engaged.
And I still don’t know how Vivian would know squat about Ally. Wasn’t she on that island when Ally went to stay with Lucas in Japan? And speaking of Japan, I hope they are both safe considering the earthquake, tsunami and nuclear meltdown. Maybe they should both come home to Salem so that they can be safe. I need some Lucas humor, especially up against smarmy EJ.
I want to vomit when these two are on screen together. No chemistry, no interest in their "relationship" and EJ is a smug jacka$$! I’m not even sure how I’m suppose to believe this storyline anymore than the Rafe/Rafe2 one. I dislike it so much, that even if they change the actress playing Taylor, I wouldn’t watch. Well, maybe I would if she gave him a swift kick between the legs!
but I’m sure the originals (twin girls) were starting to look like little girls. Safer to switch to boys before it becomes obvious they weren’t.
No chemistry and that breathing is somewhat akin to listening to Darth Vader. Please!!! Let’s put an end to this soon.
But thank you for the info on this hair process. I have naturally curly hair that I straighten with a flat iron. I’ve never heard of this, but like everything it would spark my interest. I’ll stick to the flat iron and skip the toxic chemicals.
Nicole had to remind him he was going to work. I can’t believe the idiots of Salem aren’t more suspicious, concussion or not. He would at least have to have the intelligence to know you don’t get hammered then go to work as a cop. And the gun slinging he’s doing in the house wouldn’t happen either, just because of a concussion. I hate, hate, hate this story. I ff through most of it, and only pay attention if someone else is interacting with Rafe2 that I enjoy watching. I have not watched the scenes of the real Rafe so I really have no idea what’s going on there.
We strangle the both of them with the damn scarf. I swear, at this pace, they’ll be showing that thing in July. And how about we stop with all the daydreaming of each other. I’m not buying into this relationship at all. EJ is still scummy as ever doing what he is doing to Sami and Rafe, not to mention using Nicole. Taylor knows that EJ is a less than honorable character, so why would she be remotely interested in her sister’s husband?
That almost seems gross to me. He is so much older than she is and I’m sorry, but he looks older. She could have passed for 17 or 18 on the show so seeing her with Brady who is obviously 30 something is just enough to give that relationship the "ick" factor.
He made it sound as though she’s too stupid or incompetent to get that job on her own, the only reason she’s getting it is to get under his skin. He is such a jerk and I appreciated her comments to him.
