mommytutuParticipant
Can anyone think of one character on the show that doesn’t need a therapist? I think every one of the citizens of Salem could use one. O.K. Doug and Julie don’t need a therapist, but they are only on sporadically.
mommytutuParticipantThe whole thing is so ICKY!
mommytutuParticipantI just couldn’t take it. I had to ff through every scene. Sorry, I just cannot accept that Bo jumped into the sack w/Carly just moments after he and Justin had that scene over Hope. I guess every problem, marital or otherwise, is fixed with jumping into the sack with the nearest warm body. Tacky, tacky, tacky Days!!!!
mommytutuParticipantWhy couldn’t the writers have let her come to town and maybe develop a relationship with one of the single guys in town. Justin is on the verge of divorce, not that I am happy about that, but I would rather see her and Justin start up with each other and tick off Victor, than to have seen her worm her way into Bo’s life and prey on his emotions. I agree, I liked Carly before, but this time around is not enjoyable. We have on one to blame but the writers.
mommytutuParticipantThat scene was ridiculously over the top and how convenient that Bo just happened to be walking by the elevator as she was inside screaming like a complete idiot. Thank you writers for making me dislike Carly. The woman has been in an elevator several times and now you make her look claustrophobic and manipulative. Stupid, stupid scene.
mommytutuParticipantHe’s stable and has a brain.
mommytutuParticipantI get surveys all the time from NBC about Days. And the last two times they asked which character(s) from the past would I like to see return. I always answer Jack and Jennifer, so let’s keep our fingers crossed.
mommytutuParticipantI think you are correct. EJ’s ultimate goal is to break up Rafe and Sami. I don’t even know if he’ll want Sami in the end, but all the secrecy will drive a wedge between them. And not having Sydney, will just make Sami suffer a little more. She’ll be forced to find comfort in her baby’s father. I don’t like where this is going, but the writer’s can’t seem to let Sami find lasting happiness. Rafe was the only person that I feel Sami has had a somewhat "normal" relationship with. Lucas always had "conditional" love for Sami. EJ forced himself on her. Rafe takes her at face value and now she is f-ing everything up by agreeing w/EJ instead of following her instincts.
mommytutuParticipantSo precious! I just want to kiss her little face all the time. In reality though, James looks like he’s a real natural with that little girl. The singing to her, holding and cuddling her, kissing her little head, it was so beautiful!
mommytutuParticipantI am not liking the "new" Mia. Did they really think changing this character would make me more interested in her? I don’t like her stringing along 2 guys and playing wicked mind games w/Gabi. This is not at all appealing to me. I am going to go out on a limb and say that maybe this is leading to the new Will who is suppose to be a different temperment than the current Will.
mommytutuParticipantChloe’s not Catholic. Just happened to meet up with a priest. I do agree that there is very little diversity. That is why I would like to see Rafe’s FBI friend added to the show. I guess the Hernandez family is suppose to be the multi-cultural group on the show.
mommytutuParticipantThat is funny and reminds me of when I was in college. That is when Bo and Hope were first together. I worked for the traffic office and wrote tickets. My roommate and I would always request one specific area at 1:00 so that we could sneak into the one dorm with 2 TV’s. One had AMC and the other Days. Many years later when I taught school, one of our male teachers always made sure he had lunch or a specialist during Days so that he could get to the lounge and watch a bit of Days. It is such an addiction!
mommytutuParticipantWhy would Mike Horton bring back Carrie? She’s married to Austin now.
mommytutuParticipantI’m not sure what you’re talking about, but I suspect your kids were watch Disney Channel or Nickelodeon. My oldest daughter said she was on some show on one of those channels.
mommytutuParticipantNot trying to be a downer–this is a good memory for me. My dad had cancer and Steve and Kayla’s wedding took place just a couple of days before my dad passed away. He wasn’t all in his right mind at the time, but I remember there was a scene where Kayla said she couldn’t marry Steve, and my dad said they better get married he just bought 20 pounds of cabbage for the wedding. It was funny at the moment and probably one of the last things my dad said. He never watched Days, but he was paying attention that day.
