mommytutuParticipant
I am not liking the "new" Mia. Did they really think changing this character would make me more interested in her? I don’t like her stringing along 2 guys and playing wicked mind games w/Gabi. This is not at all appealing to me. I am going to go out on a limb and say that maybe this is leading to the new Will who is suppose to be a different temperment than the current Will.
mommytutuParticipantChloe’s not Catholic. Just happened to meet up with a priest. I do agree that there is very little diversity. That is why I would like to see Rafe’s FBI friend added to the show. I guess the Hernandez family is suppose to be the multi-cultural group on the show.
mommytutuParticipantThat is funny and reminds me of when I was in college. That is when Bo and Hope were first together. I worked for the traffic office and wrote tickets. My roommate and I would always request one specific area at 1:00 so that we could sneak into the one dorm with 2 TV’s. One had AMC and the other Days. Many years later when I taught school, one of our male teachers always made sure he had lunch or a specialist during Days so that he could get to the lounge and watch a bit of Days. It is such an addiction!
mommytutuParticipantWhy would Mike Horton bring back Carrie? She’s married to Austin now.
mommytutuParticipantI’m not sure what you’re talking about, but I suspect your kids were watch Disney Channel or Nickelodeon. My oldest daughter said she was on some show on one of those channels.
mommytutuParticipantNot trying to be a downer–this is a good memory for me. My dad had cancer and Steve and Kayla’s wedding took place just a couple of days before my dad passed away. He wasn’t all in his right mind at the time, but I remember there was a scene where Kayla said she couldn’t marry Steve, and my dad said they better get married he just bought 20 pounds of cabbage for the wedding. It was funny at the moment and probably one of the last things my dad said. He never watched Days, but he was paying attention that day.
mommytutuParticipantITA, his hair looks so much better color-wise. It was a little brassy and made him look messy and unprofessional. I think all one color is less distracting and now you can see how handsome he is.
mommytutuParticipantHappy New Year! Hoping all of you have a happy, healthy year filled with love and laughter!
January 1, 2010 at 3:30 pm in reply to: I liked the Maggie and Mickey flashback today (spoiler inside) #9075mommytutuParticipantI remember that Maggie walked with crutches. I don’t know that she was paralyzed. I do remember she was in the hospital and my favoriet Mickey and Maggie scene was the day he bought her the red shoes. I thought they were beautiful!
mommytutuParticipantI was 4 when I started watching with my mom. I will be 47 tomorrow, so I guess that’s 43 years–OMG! Thank you DeeLan and Shadow for making me not the only one that’s been with Days since the beginning.
mommytutuParticipantThe other day when he was talking about Phillip’s engagement to Melanie I was laughing so hard. Truly the best lines are those delivered by Victor–snide and funny all at once.
mommytutuParticipantThe folks at Days cast someone in a minor role and you just wish they would be a major player/character. I agree, Troy is easy on the eyes and I wish he had a better part. Another character we’ve seen a few times that would be great is the FBI Agent that Rafe is always contacting and working with. I think he has a lot of potential. But, alas, Days will continue to give us minor teen-age characters that really are of no interest to us.
mommytutuParticipantThat’s as good a theory as any. It’s either that or a consultation with the Magic 8 Ball.
mommytutuParticipantStephanie, if they can’t make her a likeable character. Why does she always have to have a man? Kinsey can go and take Gabby with her. Those two serve no purpose. I like Mia, but please make her less mopey this year.
mommytutuParticipantI wouldn’t have left in the first place. Then if I had left and came home to see Carly and Bo kissing, I would have walked right in on them, told Carly to get her lips off of my husband, and told my husband that’s it I’m coming home. End of story. You can’t work things out when you’re not together. The longer she stays gone, the easier it becomes for Carly to move in on Bo. If Hope comes back home, Carly can’t be there all the time. Stupid storyline, I wish it would end.
