As per her usual, Hope decided that Bo not giving the ransom money to the kidnappers put Ciera’s life in danger and it’s all his fault. Then she started digging up the past when they had some trust issues with each other–Zack, Chelsea, Billie, Patrick. Then she told him they needed to be apart. I have definitely left out a lot of details, but I think you get the gist. Plot driven characterization of Hope. It sucks!
I am absolutely sick of Hope’s behavior. I just ff through every scene with her. When the writers decide to start writing her character with some common sense, I’ll watch her again.
Yes, something is definitely up. Just saw the scene with the photos of her and John Clark. I don’t think there are plans in the works to bring him back, but I love seeing Maggie with the real Mickey–the only Mickey in my opinion.
I couldn’t believe how she lied to her mom. Telling her mom that EJ abused her and kept her from getting in touch with Faye, I almost fell off of my chair. And poor Faye would do anything for Nicole, purely out of guilt. She even told Faye that "after she had the baby" things didn’t get better. She never had the baby. Poor Faye is going to feel worse once she realizes Nicole duped her.
She looks like a freakin’ pirate. Everytime I see what she’s wearing I think of Johnny Depp and Pirates of the Carribean. Hideous! She doesn’t have to dress like an old granny, but honestly, why don’t they put something on her that looks less comical. OMG, just glanced up and she looks like Count Dracula in drag.
I think Brady is confusing a tender spot in his heart for Nicole as love, or the writers are confused about the emotion. He hurt for her when she lost the baby and he cared about the fact that she was mixing herself up with the Dimeras, but that is not love. Brady loved Chloe and I don’t see that w/Nicole or Arianna.
The new Allie is just great! First of all, just having an Allie on the screen. But she does seem to have more stage presence, which is a wonderful change and good competition of Johnny.
I don’t like the thought of her messing w/Carly, but I love seeing her get under Kate’s skin. I also enjoyed today’s show when to gave Hope the business. She was absolutely right.
I don’t believe Nicole is in her right mind. I think in the end she will cop an insanity plea and that is how she will be written off during her maternity leave but still be able to return to Days afterwards. I could see them making it about her being mentally disturbed, so that we have some redemption later on down the line. If they don’t do that, I don’t see how there would be room for her to return in the future.
You know Lawrence is unscrupulous. I wouldn’t be surprised if he took the baby away from Carly and sold her. Let’s face it, Trent was using Melanie to prostitute around in order to pay off debts. He could just have taken her at a young age and decided that she would be his gambling ticket if he could pimp her out to those he owed money to. Of course, now I’m over-thinking this and the writers aren’t that clever. BTW, I do like the idea of Dr. Dan involved in this storyline. It would make for something different to deal with on the show. Have Dan and Carly seen each other yet?
You are absolutely right about Nicole and Mia. My heart just broke for her. Side note–I hope that girl gets nominated for best young actress, she did and awesome job in those scenes. As for Nicole blaming her, how low can you go Nicole? That was insensitive, mean, cruel and just plain horrible. Mia has lost everything. She lost Will, her reputation, probably Chad, and her reputation, not to mention that people will see her as an habitual liar, although she really isn’t. I hope Mia has better days ahead and can heal from all the mean, selfish trauma of meeting up with Nicole.
