Bobby said he was protecting Everett, not the other way around. There is no Bobby’s father, if Bobby is the alter. It’s Everett’s father. Somewhere you have confused what I said. I never said Everett was the alter. I said the show (the writers) have confused us because we have been led to believe that Bobby is the alter, but under the faked hypnosis session Bobby called his/Everett’s father Robert Stein. This is where my confusion comes from. I don’t understand where these writers are going. Why didn’t Marlena pick up on that? What is Everett’s father’s name? Maybe it is Robert Stein, but then when and why did Everett choose Lynch as his last name? Has that ever been explained?

Your quote, “ I think as to why Everett has Bobby’s memories is because he’s the gatekeeper, he knew all along what Bobby went through.” First of all Everett doesn’t have Bobby’s memories. Everett barely even knows that there is a Bobby except for what he’s been told. Who is your “he’s the gatekeeper?” From your sentence structure you are inferring that Everett is the gatekeeper. I am stating that Bobby is the keeper. And just so we’re clear, Bobby has Everett’s memories, not the other way around.

I agree! Their Chief of Police was stabbed and they just him without a guard outside the room. How does crazy Connie just wander around and no one questions this? I hope someone gets a clue soon. This story is starting to get on my nerves.

You just said what I said. Bobby came out, meaning Everett is the real person. Bobby is one of his personalities. The real person is Everett, Bobby gate keeps. This is my issue with the story. At one point we thought Bobby was the real person, but then they changed it to Everett is the real person and Bobby is one of the personalities. If that is so, why would the parent be Robert Stein. I think the writers have changed their minds multiple times on how this story is going to be written, but it sure would help if they’d pick one and stick with it. And don’t yell at me.

@zodiacpisces, I think it’s the other way around. Bobby is protecting Everett. Bobby is the gate keeper, he even said at one time that he is protecting Everett. And Bobby definitely faked being under hypnosis.

@bluebonnet Jen Lilley could only commit to 5 weeks. Days wanted her for 12. I wish it had only been 12 weeks because as you see now, Theresa has overstayed her 12 week welcome.

I loved seeing Paul and Sonny! I am watching the Mindy Project on Netflix, and I saw the actor who plays Paul playing a frat boy.

I read that! I wonder if there will no be a possibility for Arianne Zucker to return. I think Carlivati shares some blame in what happened with the sexual harassment on the set. He had some good stories, but he hasn’t been my favorite writer and I feel he did some characters wrong by not writing them decent storylines.

Trask can’t take Eric down. Eric is not on the hook for any crimes. I know it’s a soap, but the law is on Eric’s side, so he has nothing to fear.

You contradict yourself. Even if it was illegal, Eric was lead to believe it was on the up and up. Trask provided her services. And again, it’s Eric’s child. He never had to adopt his own child. He willingly signed papers because that is the “legal” thing to do when one adopts a child. Where’s the conspiracy on Eric’s part? Eric, Jude, and Nicole are all victims of Sloan and Trask. Even, in the end, EJ is a victim. He was lead to believe he was the biological father, then he was lead to believe he lost his child, then when he found out the baby was alive, he believed it was his child which is why he immediately went to Sloan. When Sloan said the baby was Eric’s, EJ asked for a DNA test and not until that moment, did EJ become in the wrong. That’s when he chose to keep his mouth shut. There’s a big tangled web of guilt here, but Eric is not one of the guilty.

But this is not ignorance of the law. The crime was when Sloan and Melinda illegally kept Jude and made up an adoption story. Eric was ignorant of a law—like not knowing you can’t pull through in a parking space in some cities. He had a bona fide lawyer presenting him with a child and adoption papers. He just didn’t know how Jude came to them. When he found out the child was Nicole’s, he immediately took Jude to her. And in reality, Jude is his so even if he had kept Jude, he wasn’t breaking a law. He is the father of Jude, legally.

But regardless of an adoption, legal or not, Eric is Jude’s biological father. In reality, no matter what happens, Eric is the daddy, EJ is not and there is no legal standing to do anything to Eric. On the other hand, when it comes out that EJ knew, maybe he could be legally in trouble.

I had read that Carlivati was ready to wrap up some of these stories that dragged out during the writers’ strike. I was surprised that Gabi was the one who revealed everything, but glad she did. Since Nicole is leaving this month, I’m glad they are wrapping up the story. Maybe she and Eric will go to Paris together with baby Jude.

I do wonder if they really meant for Connie to be Li’s murderer or if that was an easy way to wrap it up. We haven’t seen Connie in ages and then we see her twice in one episode. My question is how is Bobby/Everett tied to this? Was he even in town when Li was murdered? Since July is sweeps month (we have sweeps in February, July, and November), I’m guessing they want to wrap up a lot of stories so they can move on to new ones for November.

I don’t know where it’s going. I’ll be honest, I think I’d be more interested if it were the old Tate. New Tate is a fine actor, but he really is way too old to be believable as a teenager. I am just thinking about how he’s old enough that he would have been better as a relationship interest for Claire, if they brought her back. I just think it was poor casting. That said, when Nicole leaves, where will Holly go? Will she stay at the Dimera mansion? Will she leave too? Will she move in with Maggie or Eric? Where does she fit in without her mother? I would also like to say that the Everett/Bobby story is interesting? Why did they just ship him off to the mental hospital and leave it like that? I’m glad the real writers are back, but storylines seem so chopped off with no clear plan going forward.

The last thing I remember is Harris being mad at her for trying to go out on her own so she could kill Clyde. I guess this week will be his last week and I’m wondering how they will play this out. I’d actually be happy if Ava leaves with Harris.
